This is a gorgeous villa, in a great private location with gated access. We loved staying here.

Views across the bay were amazing. Fair to say a car or regular taxis are essential as a steep hill to walk and a busy road to cross to go anywhere. Nice local beaches and restaurants. Villa owners were very accommodating and informative and really cared about your feedback and any requests.

We had the most amazing stay at this place. It’s absolutely stunning – beautifully designed down to the smallest detail. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and outside there’s a barbecue and a pizza oven. The bedrooms are comfortable and luxurious, and the views are simply breathtaking from every angle.The highlight is definitely the gorgeous pool overlooking the scenery. Since the weather wasn’t always perfect for swimming, we enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and spending time with the pool table instead.The host was extremely kind, responsive, and attentive – you can really feel the care and thought put into every corner of the villa.We highly recommend this villa and can’t wait to come back soon!

Probably not only one of the best villas in Crete but in all of Greece. This is a property where it is obvious the owners have spared no expense in the build and fit out, it is almost completely faultless. Easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed in, hosted by some very nice and approachable hosts. From the fantastic pool area with retractable screens, to the almost endless space the villa provides, steam room, pool table, great wifi, portable music, pizza oven (the list goes on) it is fantastic. A really special place.

We loved Anastasia’s villa. We were 5 adults and two young children, who loved the pool, swing set, trampoline and fun kids bedroom. Please note the pool is deep so swim aids needed. The house is equipped with activities, and multiple relaxation areas meaning a big group could spread out easily. We enjoyed local beaches and restaurants 10-15 minutes drive away and with the villa only 20 minutes from Heraklion it’s very easy to get to from the airport. Highly recommend. Anastasia and Antonio were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay.

The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful villa we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

An overall unique villa

The owners thought about every single detail. Now talking about the hosts- I have never encountered such hosts that really want to make your holiday a success. They made sure we are all ok, they even delivered us fresh fish from their fisherman which were the freshest fish ever! That was an amazing dinner. I couldn’t recommend more, really. The owners and the villa are truly exceptional. We didn’t want to leave:(

Is an amazing villa with breathtaking views from all areas of the home. Words cannot describe how beautiful the views are, and it is even more magnificent than the pictures. The owners are extremely welcoming and kind, they obviously take pride in their property. There were fresh fruits and breads, water juice and wine for us when we arrived. They are easy to contact and willing to assist. Everything was immaculately clean and kitchen/bathrooms stocked with anything you could need. The grounds were also well taken care of. And the sparkling pool which was my favorite! We were a family of 8 and had more than enough room. There are multiple decks all with incredible views. We enjoyed coffee off the dining area in the mornings, and spent much of our time by the infinity pool, with comfy loungers, pool toys, charming swings, outdoor table for meals and even a wood stove for pizzas. Both living areas were cozy and wonderfully decorated. All the bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and linens. We used the pool table on the ground level again with beautiful views, and the hamman was amazing. We love to travel and have stayed at many rentals and resorts, this villa is very special. Although we usually like to travel new places we would love to come back to Crete and have another opportunity to stay in this beautiful villa, thank you for sharing your home with us!

Just spent a week at the villa with friends and family. It was a magical experience. The villa is built at the top of the hill above the village of Agia Pelagia, with incredible outdoor views and immaculate and spacious rooms. What maybe gives it the edge is the outstanding level of service and responsiveness from the owners, always within reach to assist us with any requirements, and always willing to provide suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable. This magnificent villa is located in full privacy on a hill overlooking the Lygaria and Agia Pelagia bays - needless to say the views are spectacular! The house is very nice and spacious, nicely furbished and can easily accommodate up to 12 people, children and baby included. The lower floor has its own entrance and kitchen, and is thus great for those travelling 2 families together, or with grandparents, or a nanny or even with older teenagers wanting a bit of privacy. On the top floor there is a children’s bedroom that can accommodate 3 children and for those travelling with an infant or young toddler there is a nice crib, a high chair, a babysitter and even baby towels. The pool area is terrific with lots of space for fun and relaxation, including a new dining area, a stationary outdoor grill and an old style outdoor oven that we used to make our own pizza one night! The views from the pool area are stunning and due to the location of the house the privacy is total - only a goat or two, who wander the hills, might have a peek at you swimming in the pool - that by the way can be heated at an extra cost. This is not needed during summer but a nice option during spring and autumn. The owners, Anastasia and Antonis are the most welcoming, kind and informative hosts we have ever encountered, and we are frequent house renters. They were always fast to respond to our questions and requests and nothing seemed to be any trouble. The location close to Heraklion is a great advantage since it is only a short drive from the airport and you can reach many interesting and beautiful places in a 30 minute to 2-hour drive. To not visit Knossos and the archaeological museum in Heraklion while staying in this villa must be considered a crime! As usual, paying for a guided tour is well-invested money. There are also many nice beaches and villages to explore in the area - just ask the owners and they will provide you with many suggestions. The same goes for restaurants, ask for recommendations and you will have the most delicious meals. Note that a car is needed for this villa since it is located on a hill and there are no pavements or even walking trails to reach the villa without a car. All in all, a wonderful house in a great location combined with lovely hosts - what could go wrong!

The owners are top notch givers who have always taken care of us and our concerns right up to the very nice welcome on a Sunday at 10pm with pizza and chilled drinks. As soon as we have autumn holidays at the end of September we will be back!

 It has the real wow factor, fantastic villa with magnificent views but equally important it is less than 1KM from a major road that runs along the north of the island so you can easily get to and from the capital city, water parks, Knossis Palace,…
 It has the real wow factor, fantastic villa with magnificent views but equally important it is less than 1KM from a major road that runs along the north of the island so you can easily get to and from the capital city, water parks, Knossis Palace, beaches and restaurants, Two very nice coves with superb beaches and restaurants less than 15 minute drive. It will easily sleep nine adults plus a small child under 10. We were a party of six adults and the place felt like it could take twice as many easily, truly loads of space in and out of the villa. The pool is much bigger than the pictures suggest and 2/3 bedrooms have there own balconies and two out door BBQ's one gas (never used) and one superb charcoal/wood one that we enjoyed cooking on. I am trying not to say too much positive stuff as I am looking to book again in two years time and want it available.

This is pure luxury, but with warmth and charm everywhere. The house is clean and has all the comforts one could want on a vacation. Anastasia and Antonis are perfect hosts. We were welcomed at the airport and guided to the home. They provided pizza due to our later evening arrival. They also assisted in stocking our pantry, finding a video game for our son and provided fabulous information about the area. We booked massages at the house and used the relaxing steam room daily. Also, it was so much fun for our young children who had their own room, play area and comforts in the house. I can not say enough thanks that the hosts and this house made our stay wonderful and full of good memories.

Beyond amazing stay!!

We spent two brilliant days in the villa and they were just the best ever. The pictures really do the place justice but its even more spectacular in real life!! Just everything about the place is done to the highest possible standard!! Everything is thought of and so beautiful from the rooms decor to the little touches everywhere . There are too many things to mention!!.But above all the beauty of the place is the kindness and warmth of the hosts. It's crazy but after our two days here we felt like family towards Antonis and Anastasia !!! They are the most amazing hosts we have ever met!! They were so helpful at every step ! So all in all, we had a brilliant time at the Villa and have already told Antonis we will be back next autumn for sure !!!

Set high above Agia Pelagia, this elegant and spacious villa has a large paved area by the pool including an overhead sail giving shade the whole day long. And to compensate for windy days, tall glass screens surround the property. The villa is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The owners are charming and ready with lots of advice and information. The offer to do a grocery shop before we arrived was very welcome. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

The villa occupies a commanding position high in the hills overlooking Ayia Pelagia and has wonderful views down to the village and the surrounding coast. The Villa itself is superbly equipped in every respect and the pool area is particularly spectacular. Antonis and Anastasia are perfect hosts and could not have been more thoughtful and helpful both before and during our visit. If you are offered the opportunity for Anastasia to prepare an evening meal don't hesitate to accept as she is a superb cook. A memorable stay in a beautiful place.

Great, huge villa with stunning views of the bay of Agia Pelagia.

There is a small slope to climb to reach the house on the mountain, but it is worth it. We had everything we needed for a week and Anastasia was always available via messenger. The nearest town is 10 minutes away by car and offers good restaurants. Clear recommendation!

This is a gorgeous villa, in a great private location with gated access. We loved staying here.

It has balconies and chill out areas all across the house, with views right across the ocean & towns below.We used the swimming pool every day with the children (paid extra for pool heating in October) and our mum enjoyed sitting in the pool area and watching / relaxingHost Antonios was very helpful, and gave us lots of information about restaurants…

There was 14 of us staying including a young baby and the villa was plenty big enough for us all. The pool area was nice and good selection of balconies, seating areas giving us lots of space. Views across the bay were amazing. Fair to say a car or regular taxis are essential as a steep hill to walk and a busy road to cross to go anywhere. Nice local…
