More magical than you can describe....

I'm not one for doing many reviews but after staying at the Freedom Villa for 10 days this summer, i felt obliged to just say how wonderful the place is. Simply put....AMAZING. The trip was for a family wedding and as we were would be celebrating…
I'm not one for doing many reviews but after staying at the Freedom Villa for 10 days this summer, i felt obliged to just say how wonderful the place is. Simply put....AMAZING. The trip was for a family wedding and as we were would be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary while away, we wanted something that was a bit special, a bit different, a bit....well WOW. Many hours were spent researching various villas but Freedom Villa jumped out each time mainly due to the amazing pictures and reviews. It did not disappoint on arriving. It's rare to arrive at a destination that actually looks BETTER than the pictures but it's obvious that Robert, the villa owner, has spent time and money to keep the villa fresh and looking like new. Starting with the location, not knowing Seminyak prior to our visit, we trusted the reviews and villa description that it was well placed to be near restaurants, shops and the beach. It did not disappoint with everything we needed being within a 5-10 minute walk yet away from the hustle and bustle of the main road so you were not disturbed when chilling around the pool. The villa itself, as already mentioned, is somehow better than the pictures. It was obvious from both being there and talking to Robert that a lot of time (and money!) had been spent to build this to meet and go beyond expectations you would have of a high class villa. Incredibly clean, it's been built with the idea of socialising and with the fantastic pool and bar at your call all day long, it's easy to see why we struggled to leave the villa for our stay. My three boys loved the pool, made even more fun by the provision of inflatables for them to play with and many hours were spent jumping in and splashing about by us all. I could go on much more but i won't spoil it for everyone although as bit of a fitness fanatic, the gym is worth a mention as it is more than adequate for those who want to try and put up a fight against an increasing waist line due to the amazing meals cooked by Okie the resident Chef! Despite this wax lyrical of the villa, what actually makes the whole stay special are the staff. Okie the Chef will cook you the most amazing food that will leave you not wanting to visit the restaurants. Why bother when you have first class food on your doorstep! He pleased the boys daily with fresh waffles, pancakes and even handmade donuts for breakfast! As fitness fans, he also worked his magic on producing healthy option dinners although his handmade desserts made that gym visit a necessity! Along with Okie you have Kadek, Didi, Dita, Arias, Putu and the security guys who are there for anything you need. They were great with the boys and by the end of the trip they all felt part of the family! Nothing is too much for them and they were always happy to help. I really can't say enough about them. Before i finish, i want to mention the owner Robert. From my initial email to him he was welcoming and incredibly helpful (even when one mail turned into 30!). He arranged a surprise birthday cake for my wife and treated the boys to ice-cream whenever he popped by. Pre arrival he went out of his way to purchase some swimming aids for my boys after i asked if they had any. He obviously cares how you enjoy your stay and will do anything to ensure it is the best it can be. It was great talking to him about how he built the villa and it was obvious that he is very proud of it. Finally, it's worth noting that Freedom Villa won a variety of awards at the prestigious Luxury Hotel Awards for 2017 and it is nominated again for this years. It's obvious to see why. We can't wait to go back

Walking distance to body works ,La Lucciola,Mexicola and lots more great eating places.From the moment we arrived at the villa we were amazed it was even better than the pictures on website stunning.Staff treated you like family couldn't do enough for you from changing money ,getting anything you required,bedrooms and bathrooms were 5 star plus .Chef on hand to cook fantastic meals as required with huge gourmet breakfast complimentary daily.If considering booking a villa don't look any further Villa Freedom is a must . Thank you to Robert and all of your fantastic staff

We booked Freedom Villa directly after finding so many good reviews online. The pictures also capture your imagination - and in this instance accurately reflect the villa. Having just departed the reviews honestly don't do enough justice to the place. From the outset, Robert (the owner) was efficient, friendly and helpful in arranging our stay. Upon arrival you are blown away by the scale and luxury of the villa - it's is luxuriously appointed and the facilities second to none in Seminyak. Our stay was perfect on every way - we really felt special. As others have said the villa is well located - but for mine it was the attentiveness and desire to please of the villa staff that make it such a special place. The food was copious and scrumptious - the pool spotless and the rooms immaculately prepared daily. We will definitely be back - thank you Robert and team for having us in your home

Once you step into Freedom, you will never want to leave. The wow factor on arrival is off the scale. The property is truly stunning and exactly like the photos. Centrally located on a quiet lane, just a short walk from Petitenget beach. Close to shopping, lively restaurants, bars, and beach clubs. Stayed here for 5 nights with 10 people aged 18-81. The rooms are luxurious, the bathrooms enormous, the pool is impeccable and the gym has high-quality equipment if you need to work off any excess. The team of staff are friendly, gracious and accommodating at all times, Wayan can arrange anything on request. They unobtrusively keep the Villa in perfect order day and night and we were warmly welcomed every time we returned 24/7. Chef Oky makes wonderful food and the coffee is great. We especially enjoyed the sumptuous and varied breakfast each morning including special requests for dragon fruit, green juice and chocolate pancakes. One evening we opted to dine in to celebrate a family birthday complete with cake and birthday serenade by the staff. Each meal time the table was set beautifully with a different theme including flowers. This is a true home away from home, an opportunity to unwind and enjoy quality family time with our adult children. Our sincere thanks to all the staff for making our time here so memorable. Thanks also to Robert for making such a fabulous Villa available for short stays. Our experience here was world class in every way.

We are about to end a stay here after celebrating a get away with friends for our 40th birthdays. The villa and its staff are exceptional and we have felt truly welcomed and spoilt. The pictures are beautiful but the impact when you are welcomed through the door is mind blowing...better than the pictures. The rooms and bathrooms are enormous and there are great spaces in the open plan living and by the pool to relax and enjoy company. Although we chose to walk to lots of places (needed to we were treated to amazing spreads at breakfast) Freedom Villa is close to lots of favourite spots in Seminyak and easy to organise transport. Would love to come back .

The perfect villa for large groups. 10/10 for location, facilities and staff. Always happy to help and always looked after us. We've travelled there for the past 2 years and cannot believe our luck that we scoped out such a nice villa first time looking. Rob the owner is always reachable and will bend over backwards to help you out with the booking section and once you get there, the staff welcome you with fresh watermelon juice and a smile. Not a bad thing can be said about freedom villa and we look forward to staying there for many more Aprils to come!

From the moment we stepped into the villa, we were absolutely mesmerized. The staff at Freedom Villa welcomed us with drinks and snacks and were warm, sincere and personable throughout our stay. Our delicious meals were lovingly prepared by Oky, the villa chef every morning, who made sure we had a great start to our day with his nasi goreng, mee goreng, banana pancakes, Croque Monsieur and chicken porridge! The villa itself was absolutely beautiful and so perfect! The fresh flowers were changed daily throughout our 3-night stay at Freedom Villa, the rooms smelt so lovely every single time we stepped in and the beds were oh-so comfy! We've stayed in a few villas in Bali and NOTHING compares to Freedom Villa. This villa is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and we'll definitely be back! Five out of five!!! :D

I booked this villa with a group of friends as a number of us were celebrating our 40th birthdays. We had a group of nine and this villa was just perfect. Everything from the layout, finishes, pool and staff was just amazing. The breakfast every morning was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The location of this villa is excellent as it is only a quick walk into the heart of seminyak. I would not hesitate to book this villa. It is even better than the pictures and you will have an amazing holiday staying at this villa. I hope to be back again!
