Welcome to Olive Garden Villas Kefalonia, two traditional stone villas with the personal touch of Danny and Satu, who came 10 years ago from Scandinavia to Cephalonia, Danny's island of origin.

Each Villa is a three storey villa. The modern lounge area οn the upper ground leνel is open plan and very spacious with feature fireplace, flat-screen TV and home cinema, leather sofas, and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a full bathroom with a washing machine.

French doors lead out onto the terrace area and the pool. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded with ensuite bathrooms. Balconies leading off the bedroom overlook the pool area and have views of the mountains. The lower ground floor has a twin bedroom/studio which benefits from its own seating area and is ideal for older children who would Iike a bit more independence but are still in the main house.

The olive grove around the houses is filled with beautiful trees producing the olives, which are used to make the Olive Garden Villa's delicious, organic extra-virgin olive oil. Every November the olives are picked by hand and taken to a traditional stone olive press in Troianata, Kefalonia.

This is a beautiful villa tucked away in a rural location yet only 30 mins walk (or a short drive) into the fishing village of Sami which hosts lots of local restaurants, bakeries, small supermarkets and pharmacies. The villa was spotlessly clean when we arrived and a cleaner came in again mid week. The unheated pool was also regularly cleaned. The accommodation is over 3 floors (a bedroom on the lower floor, living space on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms (with en suites) on the top floor. The stone stairs might not suit families with younger children.

Amazing space and hosts which really was a home away from home. Close enough for a lovely morning walk into Sami for Frappe's and a swim as well as great local knowledge of the hosts! The Pool and rooms are clean and spacious and was very comfortable for our family trip (5 Adults) who were able to relax and have downtime but also connect in the amazing living spaces.

We have had a great week in Olive Garden Villa (Unique Villas) in Sami. First of all, its location is excellent, very centrally with short distance from restaurants and shops and quiet at the same time. It is only 10-15 min driving to one of the magnificient and organized beaches - Anti Samos. It is not far to the famous Myrtos beach either. The house is very functional with practical, moderne items and have nice, well kept swimming pool area with comfortable sun beds. The garden is large with beautiful, old trees. «The Pool man» came daily for maintence and the whole area was very clean. It is nice to sit there late evening and just relax. We were 5 adults and had a lot of space both in the house and outside. We have got support from our hosts several times, both advices and practical solutions. Conclusion : we can highly recommended the house we rented.

It was our first vacation in kefalonia and the time we spend in this wonderful Villa was just amazing. We (2 adults + 2 Kids - six and ten) started every morning with a swim in the Pool (perfect for Kids) before we went to the beach like antisamos. For dinner we went often to sami which has a cute harbour with a lot of nice Restaurants. Try out afrala, also perfect for breakfast. You need a car in this area. We will come back.

We have just returned from a brilliant holiday in Kefalonia. The villa was beautiful, very clean and really well located. It was equipped with everything you'd need, even store cupboard items such as cling film and foil. The pool and BBQ area was excellent and allowed us to spend almost all of our time outside. The host was friendly and welcoming and on hand to answer any questions we had. All in all, this was probably the best family holiday we have been on.

This is a very attractive and comfortable villa which we really enjoyed. Its more spacious than the photos may indicate and everything is in excellent condition. There were four of us but I can imagine that a group of six could also be very comfortable in this lovely villa. The pool, patio and garden are particularly attractive as shown in the photos. One thing we appreciated very much was the opportunity to walk into Sami where there is a wide range of seafront restaurants. Its a very pleasant 20-25 minute walk through the countryside and you can avoid any busy roads if you take the most direct route. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and I can very highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing holiday in beautiful Kefalonia.

We had a great week at Olive Garden Villa thank you. It was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for a week's holiday. The points I make here are only to help a bit for others - they are not complaints! Firstly, being a hot country, it is good to have windows and doors open. No door stops or wedges meant we had to improvise with chairs under door handles etc. Secondly, when we booked I specifically asked what was included - such as tea towels, loo paper etc. The list I was given was far less than that which was actually provided. This meant that we travelled with unnecessary extra towels and loo rolls, etc. A minor point, yes, but valuable airline baggage space! Thanks again for a fab holiday. Kefalonia is beautiful, the people kind and helpful and all tavernas and restaurants we visited were excellent.

Spacious Villa in Central Spot!

Phenomenal spacious villa. It’s just like the photos and and it was just what we needed. Clean space, helpful hosts and Sami was just right, not too big, not too small. It’s also a good central spot to explore the island from.

A great quality property in a lovely location

Extremely clean, well maintained property which I would highly recommend. Having stayed twice before in Kefalonia, this was our favourite part of the coastline and the best standard of apartment. Within walking distance of Sami and Karavomylos…
Extremely clean, well maintained property which I would highly recommend. Having stayed twice before in Kefalonia, this was our favourite part of the coastline and the best standard of apartment. Within walking distance of Sami and Karavomylos. Ag. Efimia also very close by in the car. The only negative point would be take some coat hangers - not enough in the wardrobes and it would be even better with a few more plates/cutlery and then the dishwasher wouldn't have to go on so frequently! All in all though, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa, extremely clean, well thought out/designed, pool and outside excellent too.

5 Star property

We stayed in one of the 2 identical villas located across a private road from the owners, around a 2 min drive from Sami. You could walk into town if you wanted. It would be around a 20-30 min walk and you would need a torch at night. The villas…
We stayed in one of the 2 identical villas located across a private road from the owners, around a 2 min drive from Sami. You could walk into town if you wanted. It would be around a 20-30 min walk and you would need a torch at night. The villas are down an approx 300 mtr private road. It's a quiet location. The villas are modern solid stone construction and of a very high quality. The owners Danny & Satu are lovely people and could not help enough, any problem or question was dealt with quickly. We have stayed at a lot of villas over the years and these are the cleanest we've stayed at. The mid stay cleans are more than what most do for a new stay! The villa has lots of space and although it doesn't have some of the splendid views of some of the more mountainous villas, the olive grove setting was very nice. After touring a lot of the island, we found Sami, although not the prettiest of resorts, was still nice at night when it becomes pedestrianised and as more of a "working" town, it has more of what villa owners want, as in really good butchers, bakers, etc. Back to the villa.....Good sunbeds, aircon, bbq, nicely shaded eating areas. Beds were comfy. Some english channels, although if you have young children, bring dvd's. Excellent internet speeds which were good enough to facetime home. The shaded garage for your hire car was something I never gave credit to on booking, but after getting in stupidly hot cars after day trips, its something I appreciated. Small downsides, which is being picky: My wife said it needed a full length mirror. The pool had too much chlorine, which is a transient issue, but was still at the end of the holiday, a bit too strong. In total these are quality villas, with strong backup/care from the owners, which I would not hesitate to recommend.

I have travelled all over the world llooking for the perfect place to stay...ive found itT"The OLIVE garden villas Kefalonia" they are fantastic new villas built in traditional style and in the most stunning location. If you are looking for a "chips and egg" or "fat birds with tattoos" resort then this is not the place for you !!! If you are looking for a posers paradise...then this is not the place for you !!! If you are looking for genuine people ,fantastic food,no rip off prices,very clean seas and a relaxing holiday then this is the place for you...the vila is so nice you will find it hard to drag yourself away from them....the beaches are so clean they are truely worthy of turquoise status !!! THEThere are many sights to see including Fiskardo,Myrtos beach Antisommos..etc. You will find a new deserted beach here everyday.The entertainment is old fashioned greek style so if you want lager,chips,karaoke,agadoo and boozed up brits then this is not the place for you.Evenings are spent around the harbours listening to the locals play music and watching the kids play nicely until the early hours...absolute heaven. ...our kids changed after a few days from playsation freaks to kids who wanted to play outside and explore and enjoy some good old fashioned fun,...this island certainly works its magic on you leaving you wanting more....each day you return to the Uk(or little america as its becoming)you will dream of returning and will not feel the same again.We can strongly recomend kefalonia and the olve garden villas. Go there before it changes !!!
