Beach: 350m

Ktima Kourou Tragaki Zante Zakynthos In an outstanding Mediterranean landscape of 6000m2 of olive groves situated near the traditionally built village 'Tragaki' only 300m from the most beautiful beaches of the island on the east coast of Zakynthos stands the country farm of the 'Kouros' family, which consists of 5 individual traditionally stone-built country houses and the harmonious farm.

Begin your tour from the reception area where you can admire the outstanding display of everyday items from the last century as well as the collection of old Zakynthian books all belonging to the Kouros family. Ktima Kourou Tragaki Zante ZakynthosRelax and enjoy refreshments on the patio of the beautiful garden brimming with colorful flowers and sensational aromas of Bougainvilleas, Jasmine, Begonias, Granducos, and Roses all grown with love and care of 'Helen' the owner of the farm. Awaken your senses with the superb assortment of flowering shrubs and plants.

Enjoy the peace and quiet in the shade of the long-living olive trees called "Dopies" from where hammocks hang or even sit in the grove on the wooden benches set in a farm away from the houses. Also, the surrounding areas are ideal for those who would like to take a stroll in the fields, read a book, or draw in the blessing of nature. Walk around the pond and feed the ducks, the geese, and the other farm animals. Children will have great fun and will love the playground, which is safe since the estate is enclosed by stonewalls.

This house took its name from an old village whose name means "customs office". It is believed that this village served as a gateway or passage to Kefalonia and Roumeli (Mainland). Ktima Kourou Tragaki Zante ZakynthosThis spacious two-story villa can accommodate 4-6 persons and measures 140sqm. The interior has been traditionally decorated in warm colors and custom-made furniture with hand-painted wooden beds, carved wooden sofas, carved wardrobes, and a superb spacious fitted kitchen. The attention to detail of the linen, laced curtains, and crocheted blankets are tasteful needlework pieces made by the women of the family.

The ground floor consists of a spacious living room with carved wooden sofas, open fireplace, TV, DVD, and music system; a fully equipped kitchen with oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender, and all utensils plus dining area. The first floor has two large bedrooms containing one double and two single beds, both have ensuite bathrooms with shower and their own private furnished balconies overlooking the surrounding countryside.

The apartment we stayed in was much bigger than I had expected. Both bedrooms had an en-suite, air conditioning and with little balconies you could sit out on. There was a big kitchen and living room and a downstairs loo. You have a large covered area outside and a garden area. It’s like having your own house, completely secluded because of the beautiful plants surrounding each place. The pool area is lovely but you can sit on loungers within the garden too. It never felt overcrowded. The owner and her daughter speak amazing English and were so helpful. They organised a taxi from the airport and as we arrived at about 10.30 pm she organised to take us to a local restaurant in her car and the waiter returned us when we finished at no extra cost. We didn’t have a car and walked to Tsivili to get supplies (go right from the property and walk along the sea path at the bottom) which was perhaps 3/4 of a mile. There is a nice cafe by the small beach and you can use their sun loungers and plenty of restaurants if you don’t mind the walk to Tsivili. There’s a water park on your way down the hill (follow the path that goes off to the right about half way down) but we didn’t test that out. We went with 2 teenagers who loved it.

Truly, one of the best memories for our family and would come back here if in Zakynthos

We loved the beautiful Villas and property. Eleni and her family made our family of 5 welcome and always seeks to serve coordinating our rental car, massages, extra roll-away bed, and getting us info on the area. The pool was great for the family and…

The pool was great for the family and breakfast was excellent. If you want a great value this is the place over all others. I recommend renting a car to drive around on the island based on the location of you are wanting to get out to the other resorts or shop other than Tsilivi
