The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful with all our wishes! They helped us book all trips and gave the best recommendations for drinks and food. Despite the corona situation and therefore the closed bar/restaurant we couldn’t asked for more during our stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. The whole complex appeared to be well taken care of. I believe, the villas are a good alternative to the crowded villages of Fira or Oia. Would come back!

This is Paradise! It's difficult to describe the amazing experience that Desiterra offers, because this is more than just a 5* resort, this is a place that you immediately recognize to have been built out of passion for hospitality and tourism, to deliver the vacation that anyone dreams of. The resort is situated in a discreet area of the island, on a vast territory that offers all visitors privacy. Our villa had sea view and mountain view and it was spectacular. The villas recompose the Greek spirit and it is splendidly furnished in a minimalistic style. We would often leave the front door open and slept while feeling the Santorini breeze. The resort is very well secured and has full day and night guarding and video cameras for your safety. The most amazing part was waking up and walking on the terrace to see the sunrise from the sea. They had a local restaurant that delivered food to our door. Also, the breakfast was incredible: it included home-made ingredients, all local foods and 100% natural! I could definitely sense the high-quality of the ingredients and the healthy approach of not using processed foods! The staff was very friendly, they helped out with everything, gave us tips on where to eat, what to visit, helped us rent a car, booked us a trip on a boat and overall provided excellent services so that our stay in Santorini would be amazing! You should better go to the restaurants that they suggest because Santorini can be tricky, you can easily be fooled into paying pricy meals at restaurants that are not worth it. Also, the resort is 2km away from Thira and very well connected to the main roads of the island. You should rent a car and you will be able to reach all the important attractions. Side comment - there was a very discreet cat that came to our door, we loved her and fed her. If you don't like pets, you will not be bothered by her. But it was definitely a plus to have such a loving cat waiting for us to come home and caress her!

The accommodation is spotless and beautifully decorated throughout with everything you could wish for, the private pool was incredible. We had all our dinner reservations taxi services day trips organised by reception anything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants 5* accommodation with a 5* service it was a breath of fresh air not to be in the hustle and bustle but have beautiful peaceful surroundings will definitely be returning one day hopefully soon thank you for making our stay unforgettable

Amazing stay at Desiterra.

Desiterra was amazing! Maria and the rest of the crew there do such a good job making you feel right at home. The hotel is is on the other side of the island is much quieter. It was really nice getting away from the hustle and bustle of Thira even though it is a ten minute drive up the hill. The room was super clean, the bed was very comfortable as well. You will definitely need to rent a car as getting around would be very difficult without one. The new pool they just put in is great as well, now guests have two pool options. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Desiterra!

Great location, phenomenal staff, outstanding facilities. Highly recommended.

The location is spectacular. Located on the eastern side of the island, you get privacy and serenity not available in Fira, but the nightlife and towns are only a few minutes away via transfer (which is easily booked by the concierge).
