We spent 10 days at Villa Utopia and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is off the beaten track but if you want somewhere that is private and tranquil then this is for you. It’s only a 10 minute drive into town with numerous restaurants. The villa had everything we needed and was clean and spacious. It’s positioned in large grounds/gardens with stunning views over the bay and mountains. The pool is a good size with plenty of terracing to relax on sun beds or deckchairs. The owner, Sofia, was very friendly and welcoming and a small problem we had with the electric gate was attended to within 5 minutes. We very much recommend this villa and we’re sure to return at some point as the location and facilities offered at Villa Utopia were the best we have experienced over many years of villa holidays with HomeAway.

Lovely house, very comfortable, great swimming pool and wonderful views over the hills and Sami and the ferries coming into the port. Wonderful location set up in the hills but only a 5 minute drive into Sami with all you need - small supermarkets, delicious bakeries, nice restaurants overlooking the yachts in the harbour. Beautiful beaches, boat hire, caves, hiking and atmospheric ruins to explore, all within 15 minute drive. Thank you Sofia!

We are a family of 4 - Mum, dad, son aged 19 and daughter aged 13 - and we were all blown away with this lovely villa and it’s wonderful setting. We spent 2 weeks here starting 28 July, waking every morning to blue skies and the most gorgeous mountain and sea views and the sound of goat bells. We spent lots of time in the large pool, necessary to cool off in the heat! We’ve stayed in many villas over the years and this was certainly the most private and we all felt very safe and secure here. A car is essential, due to the villa’s ‘away from it all’ location. The villa was exceptionally clean with high quality linen and towels, including pool towels. There is air conditioning throughout. We used the BBQ and the pizza oven - Sofia provided the wood for us on request. Sofia was very helpful and even came to find us when we got lost on the way to the villa (and we were using sat nav!!). In our opinion the only things missing were a few kitchen utensils/essentials such as scissors, scales (we attempted our own pizza dough!), salt, pepper etc - if you like to cook. We highly recommend this villa and hope to return some time.

What a relaxing 10 day holiday!! We had the best time. We hired a car (definitely needed). Views were amazing! Wasps were a pain! Villa had everything you needed. Few things missing -cool box/ ice packs for the beach, salt and pepper, just a few essentials that you didn’t want to have to buy. Nothing that spoilt our holiday. About 5 minutes drive from Sami, 30 minutes walk, but in the heat of the day it’s quite hard. Antisamos beach - Ok Agia Pareskevi beach is very good. About 10 minutes drive. Definitely recommend and would love to go back x

A little drop of heaven

We just returned from the most beautiful week at Villa Utopia. We were 6 adults and a baby and the villa was absolutely perfect. The views and the beautifully kept gardens need to be seen to be believed and the outdoor bbq and pizza oven were fantastic…
We just returned from the most beautiful week at Villa Utopia. We were 6 adults and a baby and the villa was absolutely perfect. The views and the beautifully kept gardens need to be seen to be believed and the outdoor bbq and pizza oven were fantastic. Sofia made us feel very welcome and was a text away with anything we needed. While we were there we spent a few lovely mornings in Agia Efimia (we nicknamed it Greek Padstow) enjoying coffee and pastries at the harbour. Sami had many restaurants and shops on the waterfront and Antisamos beach is one of my favourites in Greece and only 10mins drive. We don't often return to the same place but I have a feeling we will be back here again as it was such a magical place and will be hard to beat.

If you're looking for peace and relaxation in luxury accommodation it's here. From the moment you drive through the electric gates you're greeted with the most stunning views that have to be seen to be appreciated. The villa is excellently furnished and maintained both inside and out. Sofia is just a text message away if any help is needed, but has the perfect skill of being both helpful yet respectful of your privacy. The villa is located close to Sami, Agia Efimia and Antisamos Beach. A car is clearly essential but everything you could want is within a very short drive. However, you may never want to leave the generously sized pool where you can swim while watching the boats sail in and out of Sami harbour. We would recommend unreservedly.

We have had the most wonderful holiday thanks to Sofia and her family for allowing us to stay at Utopia villa. It is beautiful! with the most amazing views. Waking up to the views was paradise and coming back for a family swim was the best part of the day. We toured the island seeing Skala, Fiskardo, Assos and the turtles at the harbour in Argostoli. But we didn't need to go far as Sami and Agia Efmia were perfect places offering everything you need on holiday with wonderful beaches and tavernas. A truly relaxing holiday in a stunning private villa. We hope we can go back again soon.

It’s only a 10 minute drive into town with numerous restaurants. The villa had everything we needed and was clean and spacious. It’s positioned in large grounds/gardens with stunning views over the bay and mountains. The pool is a good size with plenty of terracing to relax on sun beds or deckchairs. The owner, Sofia, was very friendly and welcoming and a small problem we had with the electric gate was attended to within 5 minutes. We very much recommend this villa and we’re sure to return at some point as the location and facilities offered at Villa Utopia were the best we have experienced over many years of villa holidays with HomeAway.
