Spent 10 days in August, 3 family’s, total of 14. The villa has four bedrooms in the main building, an anex, and a ‘basement’ which can sleep two. The outside grounds are spacious, the swimming pool is fantastic (we did get it heated), there is…
Spent 10 days in August, 3 family’s, total of 14. The villa has four bedrooms in the main building, an anex, and a ‘basement’ which can sleep two. The outside grounds are spacious, the swimming pool is fantastic (we did get it heated), there is a swing area for young kids. The owners also farm the adjacent land, can’t do enough, really nice people, any problems, they are very quick to sort out, they also gave us some of their farm vegetables which were great for salads. The villa is in a secluded area so a car is a must, we had one car for shopping runs and used taxis for beach days. There are two local villages, small mini markets and restaurants, there is a lidl in chania for a ‘big’ shop.

We stayed as a large group of three generations at this beautiful villa. The setting is sublime, set amongst a working farm of vineyards and olive trees run by the owner and his family. The 5 rooms are well appointed, most with en suites. The beds are very comfortable and there are smart TVs throughout the property. Each room has direct access to either the pool side or the well manicured gardens. One bedroom is located in the a self contained annex, with it's own kitchenette The main internal area includes and open plan kitchen plan and dining room and living space. There are large bifold doors that open to the best part of the house, the large swimming pool complete with a shallow annex pool. There are several sun loungers, giant bean bags, outdoor showers, and BBQ are with long covered area for seating. The views from the property of the 'white mountain' range and surrounding area are stunning. The property also benefits from a basement floor for teenagers and kids that has a PS4 console, small kitchen and wine cellar, and within the extensive grounds you will find a children's outdoor play area with swings and slide as well as a table tennis table In terms of location, the property is about 40 minutes drive to Chania airport and town, 30 minutes to Rethymnos and 5 minutes to local villages for basic groceries. The closest beaches are about 10 minutes drive. All in all, this is a great villa with plenty of mod cons. The owner Emmanuel (who is usually working the land most days) and his wife Tonia are attentive and were quick to respond to any issues that crop up.

We had rented a car for shared use, so that everyone could get out and experience a bit, but very few people made use of it.The few times we had a question, the host couple were available and responded immediately. A really nice and service-minded host couple, so the experience was that you had the freedom of your own villa supplemented with the "hotel" service.It is high on our wish list to come again.

We had so much fun in this villa. The house was so big and so well decorated. Everything you need is there, fully equiped kitchen, huge swimming pool, big bed rooms with private bathrooms. The best thing is you have no neighbors, the place is very quiet…

The best thing is you have no neighbors, the place is very quiet and peaceful. The manager was 100% available to give us some tips regarding beaches restaurants and tours. Our holidays was perfect and I highly recommend it !!!

Beautiful location, superb villa and complete quietness

The owner, Tonia, was extremely responsive and very friendly. Highly recommended if you wish to be outside of the crowd, in a relaxing and peaceful place. A short drive and you are in the middle of Chania .
