Travelling with young children was made much easier thanks to the cot, high chair and family-friendly facilities provided.The location was perfect, offering privacy while still being close to beaches, restaurants and local attractions. We loved exploring the area and returning to relax by the pool each evening.Thank you to the team at Unique Villas GR for helping make our holiday so special. We booked villa sea novels for a multi generational family holiday to celebrate my wife’s 50th. The Villa is very modern and everything works as you would expect in a new home. The pool was enjoyed by everyone and nice to have the smaller area as well…

The pool was enjoyed by everyone and nice to have the smaller area as well. Beds very comfortable and air con worked very well and was extremely quiet. Overall major points for the Villa were the closeness to the two nice beaches, mini supermarkets everywhere, good restaurants very close by and the bus stop is pretty much right outside for the trips into Chania which was so easy. All in all very good for what we all needed.

A completely unique villa

There were 10 of us, adults and children. With 5 large bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this was perfect for us. Beautiful common rooms and an outdoor area with a nice pool. Pleasant hostess. Everything was new and nice. Highly recommended.

My friends and I had a very comfortable and memorable stay at the Sea Novels villa. The host was quite responsive and all facilities / amenities worked well with a working kitchen. The place was walkable from the beach, supermarkets and restaurants which was quite convenient. It’s a little far from the old town neighbourhood but if you have your own vehicle that’s helpful or even the local bus service is available. We had a little confusion with the cost of heating the pool which we interpreted as payable for the days of use and not necessarily for the entire stay. This could be made clearer in the listing. Overall, it was a great stay for us.

The villa exceeded all our expectations, it was spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of room to spend time together, while also having large, comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms for everyone. The location was fantastic, with easy walking distance to the beach and nearby supermarkets. We also loved that Chania town was just a 30-minute walk away, and the bus stop right outside made it very convenient to get there in just 10 minutes. A special thank you to Leta, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. She truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and was always available if we needed anything. We are so grateful for such a memorable experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Crete.

All the practical arrangements went smoothly. The villa was new and clean — excellent in every way. There was a separate studio with its own bathroom in the yard, which worked perfectly as a more private accommodation for a couple. Right next to the villa there’s an excellent taverna, and by the main road a nice café. A pleasant beach is just a few minutes’ walk away. Walking along the beach into the town was lovely — about a 3 km distance. There are also small grocery stores nearby, and a larger supermarket (Lidl) about one kilometer away.

We have just returned as a family of 10 from our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The villa is stunning and is set in a great location to access the beach, shops & restaurants all within walking distance. We had a few teething problems…
We have just returned as a family of 10 from our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The villa is stunning and is set in a great location to access the beach, shops & restaurants all within walking distance. We had a few teething problems throughout the week such as problems with the aircon and managing to lock the key within an outside room (our fault!). These issues were dealt with very quickly by the owner who was extremely responsive and contactable at all times. The villa is extremely spacious and the pool is great. It was very clean and we couldn’t fault it. There is a bus stop directly across the road from the villa which takes you directly to Chania old town, really easy to use and well worth a trip both during the day and at night. Sterna restaurant is 1 min walk down the street and did the most amazing Gyros. Many other restaurants in the surrounding area all within walking distance.

The villa is brand new, and we had the unique pleasure of being the very first guests to stay there – everything was in pristine condition, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The location is unbeatable – just steps away from the Agioi Apostoloi and Chisi Akti Beach, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. It made everything so convenient, especially for a family trip. Whether we wanted to enjoy a relaxing day by the sea, grab a bite at a nearby taverna, or pick up essentials, everything was right there. The villa itself is modern, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything a family could need. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care into the design and amenities. There were 10 of us, adults and children. With 5 large bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this was perfect for us. Beautiful common rooms and an outdoor area with a nice pool. Pleasant hostess. Everything was new and nice. Highly recommended.
