Великолепный замок Уордхилл XII века в Шотландии принадлежит семье Лесли уже 900 лет. Окруженный захватывающим видом на холмы Беннаки в самом сердце Абердиншира, он предлагает уникальный фон для свадеб, вечеринок и выходных.

Замок Уордхилл - одно из старейших частных имений на северо-востоке Шотландии. Он может похвастаться красивой парковой зоной вокруг замка, где можно прогуляться по живописным местам, и управляемым лесным хозяйством, предлагающим прекрасные уединенные места в лесу. Мы предлагаем долгосрочную аренду ряда объектов недвижимости, а также размещение в саду, обнесенном стеной, и вокруг него.

Сам Wardhill Castle доступен для сдачи в аренду с самообслуживанием или обслуживанием и может вместить 16 человек в недавно отремонтированных спальнях с современными ванными комнатами и новой кухней. Wardhill castle is magnificent. What struck us the most is the sense of history there, that it is a real place with a long family history, and you feel that with personal touches like oil paintings of relatives, and inscribed leather-bound volumes of Burns poetry in the library, a hand-painted family tree, or a sword in the dining room that was rumored to have been used against past relatives. Even though the castle is rather sizable and opulent, it actually feels very intimate and cozy. There are updated bathrooms attached to every room, and I’ll have to mention how plush the beds and the bedding are, like clouds. We cooked ourselves, and loved the fine china and linens that made our dinners especially grand. Will and Sarah were so very charming and helpful, recommending the perfect distilleries, and caterers, and entertaining us with romantic stories about the castle. We absolutely adored them, and would highly recommend this special place.

We booked Wardhill Castle for 3 nights for the weekend of our wedding, there was nothing that came close to how beautiful the house is within the area. From start to finish the whole process was easy and so special. I can’t explain just how stunning the house is, we were all taken a back at how each room is different, cosy and has the most comfiest beds. I can’t recommend the castle enough, everyone should experiencing staying somewhere like this, it’s a real treat! A weekend I will never forget.

What a magical castle. I and my 14 guests made amazing memories in this really wonderful castle. The place was impeccably decorated and working with Sarah and Nicolle to make our week special was just the best. They suggested amazing caterers, the BEST whiskey tasting, shooting and even suggested we attend the games were we got to see the Queen! And other specialty royalty was also spotted making it the ultimate tv nerd’s paradise. This booking really exceeded all of my wildest dreams for a castle birthday celebration and I’m hoping to be able to come back! Everything was thoughtful and just perfect. Thank you Sarah and Will for a life-changing experience.

Wardhill castle was a fairytale experience- our trip was pure magic from start to finish! Sarah our host was so incredibly helpful and accommodating and arranged everything from clay pigeon shooting to a private chef (all of which were amazing). I had my 30th birthday party here and it is a trip that my guests and I will never forget! The castle is very well equipped for large groups and there is even a cottage on the premises that you can rent if you need to accommodate more. Every room was so beautifully decorated and full of history. I couldn’t recommend this place enough- I will definitely be coming back!!

Warddhill Castle is welcoming, spacious and delightful. Our family took over the whole castle and felt the charm and quaintness of each room. We had the choice of preparing our own meals or having a helping hand with meals and/or housekeeping. We chose to take care of our needs and had a wonderful time doing so. The rooms are spotless and even though so much of the castle has you feeling you are a part of it's history, the conveniences Will and Sara offer make it very easy to live here-if only for a few days. I'm at a loss for words to describe the beauty of the Wardhill Castle. It is stunning and regal, and awe inspiring and all while offering the comfort of modern amenities. Candlelight dinners and drinks in the drawing room were definitely the highlights of our stay! The host, Sarah, is incredibly responsive and accommodating and did everything possible to make our stay as memorable as possible! If traveling with a large party or kids, I strongly recommend hiring the chef (Jane) and the catering company (Kate of Invernue) as part of the experience!!! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

You could not ask for a better option

The home: The castle is beautiful inside and out. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and there is a great rustic area around that you can walk and explore. The scenery is fantastic. The inside of the home is full of history about the family that owns…
The home: The castle is beautiful inside and out. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and there is a great rustic area around that you can walk and explore. The scenery is fantastic. The inside of the home is full of history about the family that owns the home, lovely antique furniture, and loads of space to relax in. Perfect for a long relaxing day. It is very well kept and despite obviously being very old, there have been many modern updates/comforts that have been added to the home. There are a ton of bedrooms 6 with larger beds and 2 with multiple twin beds. This place can easily accomidate groups of 10 or more. The location is out further into the countryside. Very rural. If you are looking to escape off into the country, this would be a fantastic option. About a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min drive to the airport in Aberdeen. Also be aware that when we first navigated to the home using (Hidden by Airbnb) maps, it took us in the back entrance to the home down several small dirt roads. There is a much more straight forward entrance in the front of the property. I would suggest contacting the host prior to your arrival to ensure you take the proper path. The host: Sarah was fantastic to work with. She is very proactive in making sure you have everything that you need for your stay. She was always checking to make sure that she had covered any questions that we may have and seeing if there was anything she could do to help us. In general, she was a wonderful hostess. She also had a great meal prepared for us to cook the first night we arrived (cost 10 pounds/person). It was delicious and made for a very easy night after a long night of travel. I would definitely do that again. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place for any large groups that want to escape to the Scottish countryside. You could not ask for a better option.
