Lovely House!

Our stay at the Four Seasons Villa was delightful. The house was charming and exactly as depicted in the photos. The amenities were top-notch, and the secluded private garden provided a peaceful retreat.

Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place that isn’t in the city. Many wonderful Tavernas & places to visit near by. Beach is only 15 mins away. Would highly recommend renting a car if you stay here.

The Villa offered a beautiful accommodation with fresh oranges and lemon trees for our use. We had freshly squeezed orange juice each morning. The Villa was close to Chania where we spent considerable time exploring. It also was a great base to set off in all directions to visit various locations including the Botanical Gardens which was quite close. The hostess and owner of the Villa visited us on several occasions with homemade Greek food she had made which was a welcome addition to our table. We would certainly return if our travels took us back to Crete.

We had our 18-month-old with us for ten days. She had everything she needed, including a crib, high chair, dishes, and other things, which was incredibly convenient. To check us in and walk us through everything, Dimitris met us at the property. It has a striking entryway, and when we arrived, we found gifts from his grandmother that continued to flow throughout our stay. The hosts were also very nice and welcoming, and Dimitris was always available by phone if we needed anything. You definitely need a car to stay there, as it is immediately on a large road that you can't hear, especially at the back of the home. It's in a decent location 20 minutes from Chania, which was good.

I would definitely recommend Four Seasons Villa to future visitors to the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons Villa. The house was lovely and certainly lived up to the photos. The amenities were excellent and the private garden both seculed and peaceful.

Nikos was very helpful and the elderly couple living below were simply adorable, often bringing us delicious local food. Location is good, although we struggled to find good decent restaurants or supermarkets so spent much of our time in Platanias and Chania

My family and I (Total of 4) had a wonderful stay at this Vila during the period of August 10-August 20, 2019. Dimitris went out of his way many times to help us with anything he could. We arrived very late around 1:00 am and he waited for us in front of the house.At the beginning we got very worried since our luggage arrived a day later, but Dimitris made many calls to the airport to inquire about it . The grandmother and grandfather live downstairs, but you wont even notices that they are there, Grandmother cooked for us and brought traditional Greek food more than one time. The house is sparkling clean inside and outside, view from the balcony is spectacular. Internet, you have Wi-Fi, but is very slow, it didn't bother us, finally we could keep our kids off the internet. If you enjoy eating out I would suggest the local tavernas, very nice cooking and very cheap compared to Chania. Overall we are glad that chose this property for our vacations , THANK YOU DIMITRI AND GRANDPARENTS

Four seasons is a great place to stay. The villa is finished to a very high standard with all the home comforts you could ask for. Nikos was very helpful and friendly and even provided us with some extra movies in English for the kids. You do need a car, but there are amenities and shops only a five minute drive away, but the views and quietness is well worth it. I would definitely recommend this place, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Η διαμονη μου στη four seasons villa στον Αλικιανο,μας αφησε ολους πολυ ευχαριστημενους και εμας κ την αλλα οικογενεια που μεναμε μαζι. Ειδικα το εσωτερικο του σπιτιου μας εντυπωσιασε με τo desidn,την αισθητικη κ τους μεγαλους χωρους κ το μπανιο υπερπαραγωγη! Το μειον θα μπορουσα να πω ειναι οτι ο κηπος ηταν σε αλλο επιπεδο απο το κυριως σπιτι,πραγμα που δε γινοταν αντιληπτο στις φωτογραφιες καθως κ το οτι ο κηπος δν ειχε συντηρηθει. Θα το εκτιμουσαμε αν ειχαμε δευτερα κλειδια,προκειμενου να ημασταν ανεξαρτητοι κ απο την αλλη οικογενεια. Σε γενικες γραμμες ομως,μπορω να πω πως ευχαριστηθηκαμε τη διαμονη μας στο Χανια κ ειδικα στο συγκεκριμενο σπιτι. Οι ιδιοκτητες ηταν ευγενεστατοι κ δε μας ενοχλησαν ποτε ( παρολο που δν ημασταν ενημεροι για την υπαρξη τους εξ αρχης).

Four Seasons Villa is absolutely superb - we arrived late at night and we were warmly greeted with the fountain playing and lit up and our host was gracious and so helpful. He was always available for assistance from advice on medical assistance and every other question we had during our stay regarding local knowledge was promptly answered and attended to. Everything we needed was supplied so we truly wanted for nothing and felt right at home. Our adult children travelling with us were so happy and relaxed and loved the downstairs barbecue area with the projector screen.The pool is much larger than in the photos and perfect for a dip daytime, or evening under the stars. Grandmother popped around occasionally and supplied us with exquisite salad and homemade delicacies even freshly cooked fish! The first morning after our late arrival the previous night we awoke to the most breathtaking views we have seen. The property overlooks huge orange groves that in the distant hills were olive groves and vineyards. The local village was full of friendly helpful people and dinner at the local taverna was superb. The Manousakis winery is just a few kilometres away and we spent a lovely afternoon there- highly recommended. We would love to return in fact we are planning our return next year already!

Nikos was really welcoming, gave us a tour and his grandparents had made us some awesome goodies!!! the Orange groove behind was wonderful added to the view of the mountain. Walking distance to the grocery store, gas station, and a really great pizza place. we had the best taxi drive you could get in Chania(Nikos recommended her). Wifi was a little issue with the slow connection, but we enjoyed everything else while there.. cooked breakfast, dinners, and went out some nights.

The first thing is its fantastic view from any window, especially from central balсony. We've spent a lot of time sitting there, drinking vine, watching sun goes down, breathing a fresh air, listening for birds singing. We've enjoyed the privacy and silence, that was definitely what we were looking for. The surroundings with mountains and orange garden were amazing. In addition, patio was great, my daughter and I just loved a pool, and of course we were impressed with video projector system, this is really something! As well as wide TVs and air cons in every room. The nearest beach was 15 min from house, vinery and botanic garden were 10 minutes from it. We also want to thank Nikos relatives welcoming us with Cretan traditional food, thank you very much! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! It was a best property I've ever stayed in!

It is totally secure, has great cooking facilities both indoor and out and all your needs are catered for, there are orange and lemon trees in the garden. It was perfect and we will definitely be back. (you do need access to a car to make the most of all the locality has to offer)

Four seasons villa is a fantastic place to stay and the best thing about it is the breath-taking view we couldn't stop admiring. Myriads of orange trees and the spectacular mountains were even more stunning than in the pictures! The villa is fully equipped with whatever you could imagine and we were also treated with some local specialities by the owner's lovely grandparents. Although it is located 12km from Chania, I couldn't imagine staying in a better place. Nikos, the owner was very helpful and even kind enough to print us the boarding passes. Overall, I can't wait to come back!

The only thing this place doesn't have is a visitors book! We stay in Crete regularly and know Chania well. This was the first time we stayed in Alikianos. We took 4 generations from twin babies to an octogenarian and this place was amazing! The most well equipped villa we've ever stayed in. Everything from a Bosch blender and dishwasher to state of the art washing machine. The hairdryer is on my Christmas list! A Sunken bath with terrific views over orange groves the smell of orange blossom just perfect. The villa although on a busy main road is surrounded by orange and lemon trees. In the morning we often picked one or two to have with breakfast. The owners mother knocked occasionally with small Greek 'taster' dishes - which was charming. I truly cannot recommend the villa highly enough.

The kitchen is gadget laden and there is an excellent gas BBQ. Our teenagers loved the satellite and PS4 It is in a quiet location but the nearby village is a short drive or easy walk and has supermarket and bar/restaurants. The main east west highway is easily accessed by car and, heading South takes you into the mountains and some spectacular scenes and hidden villages. Fantastic family villa, strongly recommended. Moreover, Nikos was really welcoming and the villa was full of sweeteners at our arrival: regional products (some lovely handmade by Nikos' parents), milk, orange juice, almost everything for the breakfast, pastries... We particularly enjoyed the bed comfort (especially in the master bedroom), the orange and lemon tree in the garden, providing extra fresh and tasty orange juices all stay long! And for those who want to cook, you can count on a really good supermarket in Alikianos, just in front of the bank, near a petrol station.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Four Seasons Villa. It is a beautiful luxury villa with beautiful views. We enjoyed all the delicious home cooked food and fruit which were given to us by your grandparents. We would recommend the villa to others.

We had a lovely time in the Four Seasons villa. It is beautiful position and the views are incredible - uninterrupted mountains and orange groves. The interior of the villa is just as stunning as the photos and my favourite room by far was the bathroom with incredible views and mirrored glass so you can see out but no on can see in! There is ample parking and it is not hard to find. It is a good 20 minute drive to Chania and with a baby in tow, the best family friendly beach we found nearby was Iguana and Sunset beach. Also, the outdoor BBQ area is gorgeous and we had a great lunch out there.

Wow, really nice house and even nicer hosts. The house is incredibly stylish with high end furnishing and appliances. The bathroom is gorgeous and wouldn't be out of place in a Grand Designs tv show. As others have mentioned, Nikolaos and his family are lovely discrete hosts, that make all the difference. Tip: make use of the breach umbrellas that are in the study, we only saw them on the last day and they are super useful in the hot crete sun on the beach. One slight downer, (probably depending on your age) is that the wifi was quite slow for us. We stayed at several places around crete during our stay, and the 4 seasons was by far the best Thanks Nikolaos - see you next year!

Wir haben unsere Ferien vom 17.10. bis zum 28.10.2016 in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Die Villa liegt an einem Hang, hat insgesamt drei Stockwerke und ist genauso geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. 2 mal in der Woche wurde das gesamte Haus gereinigt und die Wäsche gewechselt. Die Villa bietet einen herrlichen Blick über eine Orangenplantage hin zu den Bergen und dieses auch aus der Badewanne und der Dusche des sehr schönen Badezimmers. Die Eigentümer der Villa, die den Souterrain bewohnen, sind einerseits sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, andererseits aber sehr zurückhaltend und stören die Privatsphäre in keiner Weise. Ihre selbst zubereiteten griechischen Köstlichkeiten schmecken hervorragend. Wir haben unsere nicht vorhandenen Kenntnisse der griechischen Sprache sehr bedauert. Hervorzuheben ist auch die tolle technische Ausstattung der Villa mit diversen modernsten Geräten. Herzlichen Dank für den schönen Urlaub bei sommerlichem Wetter.

O locuinta pe care o recomand. Gazda a fost destul de amabila si proactiva. Imprejurimile foarte ok. Aer curat in zona muntoasa.

We spent lovely days in this villa, everything was like description, clean, kitchen full of optional (we are a family of 5 person) The area around is quiet and full of green. Is near to Chania, and have lovely seaside in few minute by car The owner is very kind and it’s easy the check in and ort, and we have tasted delicious Cretan tradicional food…
