This is a perfect private getaway just 22 minutes outside of Heraklion, the capital. If you want to avoid the hustle & bustle and appreciate a private location, this is the perfect spot for you. Highly recommend renting a vehicle as it was super easy to get around with that - many local restaurants, bars, beautiful beaches nearby and just overall a very convenient location tucked away into the hills of Agia Pelagia. Vagelis did a FANTASTIC job - the villa is perfectly designed & has plenty of room for your family or a group of friends to enjoy and relax, with a very spacious patio and stunning ocean view. He was a very gracious host, we got in very late at night at around 1 or 2 am & we walked into a kitchen stocked with complimentary treats, food and basic essentials to get our trip started off to a great start. Vagelis was responsive & very helpful whenever we needed help or taxi transportation. I will never forget this experience & will plan to come back with my family one day!!

Just got home from a weeks stay in this villa, this beautiful villa is on the heights of Agias Pelagias all I would like to say it was absolutely fantasic, and the infinity pool was lovely. We hired a car at the airport which is essential because you will need it to access the town/beach otherwise it is about a 20 minute walk. The kitchen was very well equipped and a very comfortable living area, we arrived really late so it was a nice touch that we had been provided with coffee, fruit, orange juice and bread enough for us all to have breakfast the following morning. There was also three amazing bedrooms with each their own bathroom.Another nice touch is that half way through our stay both the villa and pool area was cleaned. The host was very good with communication and was easily available.

The kitchen is very well equipped and from dishwasher tablets, to generous towel packages to first meals with coffee, fruit, etc., everything is thought of - a dream!A car is necessary from my point of view.Heraklion, Knossos, Bali (cliffjumping Spot) und Rethymno gut erreichbar. You can drive to Matala for just under 1.5 hours, as well as to the Kourtaliotiko gorge.

Slightly awkward to drive to with slightly bad very hilly roads so a 4x4 would have felt safer but we managed with a small rental car.The villa was lovely and the views were to die for. The infinity pool was really nice.We were welcomed by the owner and his wife himself with a nice welcome pack of provisions.Only (small) caveat is the necessity for a car as even the nearby village, beach and shops was a bit of a hilly trek.Overall a wonderful experience and would stay again

Many compliments about our stay at this beautiful villa. The host was very accommodating, welcoming, and friendly. He greeted us with complimentary drinks which was lovely. We had a relaxing holiday with a gorgeous view from our pool and living area. Service was excellent as a lady came in every 3 days cleaning and providing us with more essentials. It was truly a bliss staying in this villa. Couldnt have reccommended a better stay and certainly will be returning! one more mention having a car in rent makes your stay even more accessible to the village and beach which is only 2 mins away by car! 10/10 very satisfied. Thanks again for our memorable holiday.

Our family of five, with three teenage kids, had the pleasure of staying at Vagelis' beautiful place on the island of Crete. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with not just a breathtaking view, but also with the thoughtful touch of having some basic grocery shopping done for us by Vagelis. This gesture was incredibly appreciated after our journey and set the tone for a caring host experience. Also, in the middle of our stay, a cleaning crew arrived and changed our towels and cleaned the entire place. The house itself was sufficiently spacious and equipped with heating and airconditioning for a comfortable stay. Whether it was sipping our morning coffee or winding down in the evening, the panoramic scenes of Crete’s landscape were a constant source of awe and tranquility.A notable adventure was the trek to the local restaurants. We highly recommend Krasoguali (Taverna Vasilis) for its high-quality food and superb service. Thank you Vagelis!

BEAUTIFUL vacation home. it's amazing you wont want to leave you could stay there your whole stay. Pool amazing take all the IG pics there. Our host was so nice and greeted us with pastries and traditional raki. we wanted to stop at the grocery store before we arrived but he informed us there were already a lot of essentials at the house and there were! Definitely more of a vacation home to just stay there with friends and family. Also be weary that there is about a 8 minute long gravel road at the last stretch to the house.
