Villa Batu Jimbar is a wonderful villa, with an amazing team of staff! My partner and I were lucky enough to get married here in April, and had our family stay with us here for 3 nights. Ari and the team were great building up to the wedding with our organisation, as well as on the day and throughout our stay. We used 8 bedrooms, of which our whole family were very impressed with. The villa is spacious with different areas to spend time so there was plenty of space for our family to relax together. A favourite spot of ours was the lovely pool in the front, as well as the living bale in the gardens at the back by the beach. Even with people playing around in the pool, this could not be heard by those wanting to relax at the other end of the villa. The beach is small, but right outside the beautiful back garden gates. Security patrol this pathway as it is public, but it felt very safe and peaceful with amazing sunset, and moon views. Some of our family hired a boat to take out which could be brought in just off the beach in front of the villa to pick more people up. We had two lovely meals which were delicious catered for us by the villa chef, including a lovely breakfast each morning. The seafood bbq was a particular favourite of ours. We also ate at the Maya hotel which was a 2 minutes walk down the beach, which we would also recommend for the food and live music. The only slight inconvenience was having to preorder all food and drink prior to the stay/ each days meals, and needing to pay in cash and before each food shop. There was the option to pay on card, however this had a fee for use each time. We may have preferred to have food included in the cost of the stay, or had it made clearer to preorder all food for the 3 nights before we arrived, and pay for this in total at the end. We could see each family staying may have their own preferences for this. Ari (the manager) was helpful throughout. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this villa, including those looking for a lovely intimate wedding venue. We can't wait to return in the future!

We have spent 12 days at this truly fantastic place. Our stay was nothing short of perfect. Ari and his staff made sure we missed nothing, and although we were a large group of 4 families (8 adults and 12 kids of all ages) our every wish was greeted with a smile. I sure hope to come back to Villa Batujimbar for more paradise vacation. A more beautiful, peaceful and welcoming place will be hard, if not impossible, to find on this earth. Thank you Ari and staff for turning our holiday into a beautiful dream!

It is with a great sadness that me, my family and friends left this marvellous house last Saturday, and the exceptionnal staff. We spent 6 days in the villa, 16 people. A special thank to Ari, the manager, and his staff, who made our stay unforgettable. Great location on the beach, beautiful bedrooms (although not all on the same quality level), large spaces for our lunch or dinners. The swimming pool is perfect. I highly recommend this location in Bali.

Recommended place for group stay

Full breakfast was superb,service was top notch. This place well recommended for group or family stay.

Don't tell anyone about this place

An outstanding experience. The venue is in one of our guests words, "world class", and the service from Ari and the staff matches it perfectly. The villa and surrounding accommodation is quiet, restful and yet the pulse of Bali life is but a short walk…
An outstanding experience. The venue is in one of our guests words, "world class", and the service from Ari and the staff matches it perfectly. The villa and surrounding accommodation is quiet, restful and yet the pulse of Bali life is but a short walk away. If the beach is your choice, just step through the gate onto the sand. If a secluded pool is your choice, it is there, and wonderful. If tennis takes your fancy, it's available as well. If just being quiet and reading a book is your choice, there are multiple places in the complex where you can get away and be alone. Service was outstanding - nothing was a problem. This is truly paradise, just don't tell anyone else about it!

Villa Batujimbar is heaven on earth. The staff went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. The villa itself is a sight to behold, with a beautiful garden, tennis court and true Balinese architecture. The villa sits right on the beach and the gardens and pool are well kept. We stayed in Bali for a few days and barely left the villa as it was so peaceful and relaxing. Not to mention the Chef was amazing and cooked delicious food! The villa itself is in a great area with plenty of places to shop, dine and explore, highly recommend Villa Batujimbar!

A stunning villa, out of this world service thanks to Ari and his team. We stayed at Batujimbar for 5 days as a family holiday to celebrate my 50th birthday. The stay was perfect, the villa staff were extraordinary and took pains to provide for everything we asked. A group of 16 people is not easy to keep happy, but the smiling staff at the villa made sure we came back with all smiles. The Chef Noora is outstanding, ask him to stir up a storm with some great Indonesian delicacies. Oh I must mention that the kitchen staff went out of their way to get me Teh Tarik despite not having it in their list of beverages. The villa is outstanding in terms of its location, infrastructure and facilities. The staff are the best in the world. I am sure we will be back again

Attention to detail is fantastic. We had such a great time here, we were a group of 8 but could easily fit double if not more with all the facilities. We wanted to stay longer. Thank you.

A once in a lifetime experience!

Batu Jimbar is an amazing place which caters for a large group with ease, allowing younger members of the family space to enjoy themselves without disturbing the others. The staff were excellent, catering to your every wish, always with a smile and helpful attitude. The catering was fantastic - delicious food and impeccable service. We cannot recommend Batu Jimbar highly enough - the grounds are beautiful and have so much character. The pool and surrounds are awesome and enjoyed by all of our family many times each day. The location is great - on the beach allowing you to see the sunrise and moon rising; close to the shops and supermarket. All in all, definitely worth the cost. Thanks again to Nengah and all the staff for making our holiday so memorable!
