Lithari Villa 1 Νότια Κρήτη εξοπλισμένη με όλα τα απαραίτητα που μπορεί να χρειαστείτε για να σας προσφέρει τις καλύτερες συνθήκες διαβίωσης και να σας βοηθήσει να χαλαρώσετε κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής σας. Absolutely outstanding villa, and location

In the run up to our holiday Aristeidis was very helpful arranging a taxi to meet us at the airport, and also recommending car hire companies.On arrival at the Villa we couldn’t believe our eyes. It was even more perfect than the pictures. The views are beautiful and the pool area is special.We were greeted by Stefanos who gave us a very warm welcome and had stocked the fridge up with an amazing variety of homegrown fruit, homemade lemon juice and lemon liqueur. All of which were fantastic.Throughout the week Stefanos dropped in each day to make sure the pool area was clean for us and to check in if there was anything else we needed.The location was ideal for us. Only an hour from the airport, but felt like we had escaped the hustle and bustle in this lovely village with plenty to do and see in the area with just a short drive. We enjoyed the local tavernas in Kamilari that are a short walk. Great food, service and atmosphere.

The village is close by and local tavernas had really nice food. Loved the Espresso Martinis in the local Blues Bar. Beautiful beaches nearby and we had a very relaxing holiday. Thank you Aris and Stefano for making this special. We are hoping to come back.

We were there with 6 people, more than enough space and areas to relax (by the pool, the bbq, on the balcony, the terrace..). The house was very well equipped, everything we needed to also cook by yourselves or make a bbq. The area was lovely, a good tavern only 100m away, also a bakery very near. A super panorama on the village, the hills - and only a short trip of 3km to the sea in Kalamaki. Many things to do in the area from Matala to hiking to beaches to ancient sites, all there. The hospitality of our hosts was spectacular, very caring and friendly. We also loved the lemons, granates and grapes from the garden, a super vacation! Thanks again for having us!!

Excellent place to stay!

Perfect stay for 7 family members. Beautiful place with quiet and views . Impeccable the host the refrigerator was full of all the good ones (fruit juice wine raki water). Very well-stocked home. Very beautiful space for bbq.

The villa was a quiet location but short work to the village . It had everything we could have wanted including fruit/ wine on arrival. Really grateful for the late check out as had a night flight. Exceptional stay

Stefanos was very kind and was already waiting for us when we arrived. It cleaned our pool every day and tidied up the outside area. The hot tub was great and the rooms/ beds were very comfortable and pleasant with the air conditioning.

Everything you need and want is made available. Stefanos is an excellent host. Daily cleaning of the private pool. Once a week cleaning of the house by his lovely wife. Fresh bedding and towels too. A lustrous area to sit in the much needed shade. Covered with grapes hanging down and for you to pick and enjoy. Morning breakfasts are a treat that way.The house has two levels with a spiral stairs from the living and kitchen area to the airconditioned bedrooms that offer access to the swimming pool and garden area. What a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. Don't think twice to book this property.Easy access from the main road to the house. A little rural but nothing difficult. The house has full privacy.The village of Kamilari is very lovely. It's build on a hill so expect steep streets to drive and walk through. Everybody, no exception, is so friendly and hospitable. The 4 main restaurants are all little gems. Excellent local cuisine and service. Prices are low, we were surprised every time around. Save some room for the infamous drink Raki that is offered everytime you finish dinner or lunch.Local wines are very affordable and excellent to drink.Matala, the known hippie spot, is fun to walk around and to spend some time. Nice sea front restaurants. Expect different prices here though. The Beach of Kalamaki was not our favorite. Rather worn down and in serious need for maintanance.A little further at the beach of Tympaki you'll find a great little beach clubbed Boulevard with direct and easy access to the sandy beach and sea. Umbrellas and bed are complementary. Nice lounge music and great food and service too.Thanks Stefanos. We could not have asked for a better holiday experience. Sun, people and accommodation. 10+ all around.

We stayed in this lovely villa in august with 4 adults and 3 kids. We are enthusiastic about the house, the surroundings and off course our great host Stefanos. The villa is really cosy, spacious, modern and clean. It fulfilled all our expectations. The villa is cleaned properly every 3 a 4 days including fresh towels and bed sheets . The panorama view from the garden is incredible. You see fields of olive trees, mountains and Kalamari on the top of a hill. Actually the house and garden looks better than the pictures.This is a particular house because Stefanos put a lot of effort in all details. The swimming pool is approximately 9 x 4 meter and 1,40 meter deep and cleaned every morning.At our arrival the fridge was stocked, with fruit and vegetables from his own garden. And if you want, you can pick more from the garden which is located next to the house. You find a supermarket in the centre of Kalamaki 300 m from the villa.Our great host Stefanos invited us for a short trip to an ancient olive tree. The age of this tree is something about 2500 years. It’s a very powerful and peaceful place also worth the visit. The trip went further to Festos an archaeological site 10 km from Kalimari. Nice sightseeing if you like but in August too hot for the kids and even for us to visit.If you want to explore the environment than I highly recommend too hire a car because there is no public transport in this area.The beach Kalamaki is 2 km from the house and has a 200 m boulevard with good restaurants and bars. The 3 km beach is great and not so touristic and very laid back. If you want a romantic evening you can see the sunset from this picturesque place.Also Komo beach is worth to visit. This beach is also stunning and equipped with umbrellas and beach bars and is non-touristic. 5 km from Kalamari you find Matala. Matala has something for everyone. Although it has become a popular tourist destination it still retains the charm and character of a quiet fishing village.In summary we had a great holiday and all ingredients are there to have the time of your life. I definitely recommend this place and hopefully we will return sometime in the near future.
