We have visited the villa twice; it is a family-run enterprise. There are several wonderful details throughout the villa, like slippers, a vanity kit, a sewing kit, a shower hat, and a comb. The entire property is fantastic, including the incredibly comfortable beds. The estate offers stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Mount Pyrgia, where you can watch raptors fly directly over your head to the water to hunt. Koutouloufari is a charming, lovely village with several restaurants and pubs. Everyone seems to be quite amiable.

The villa is beautiful and peacefully located in the mountain side. It is fully equipped with all you need for a self-catering holiday. There were lots of personal touches to make your stay more comfortable (reading books, vanity sets, slippers, separate towels for the pool, etc.) The Manager, George, was supremely helpful and a genuinely hospitable man. He met us on arrival and welcomed us into the villa, explaining the complimentary items provided (coffee, tea, water, bread, cheese, ham, etc.) which was a lovely surprise. George even offered to get us wine or beer after our late arrival. He could not have been more helpful for the entirety of our stay and he was the epitome of Cretan hospitality. He stored our luggage at the end of the holiday and then drove them to our airport pick-up point at the bottom of the hill. He wouldn't even accept a tip!

It's a perfect location with great views, peaceful and a short walk down a hill to all the fantastic restaurants in Koutouloufari. The photos on here do not do the villa justice. It's spotless, spacious and I couldn't have asked for more. George is on hand for advice and help with anything and always with a friendly smile - he's a great guy! Koutouloufari is a great place to base yourself. We went towards the end of the season (mid Sept). It's not crowded nor loud and you're spoilt for choice for amazing places to eat with that world class Greek hospitality.I'm looking forward to going back! Thank you, Danae and George.

Everything about these Villas was fantastic. I visited with my partner, mother-in-law and 2-year old daughter and had a wonderful week. The host (George) was so friendly and helpful, greeting us opon arrival to give us a tour of the villa, and was always on hand for anything that we needed. He also let us check out late on our last day which was really kind. The vila was lovely both inside and outside; plenty of space for us, high-spec, and the area around the pool was great. The villa was spotless, with the villa and pool cleaned mid-week. The next door villas were occupied but there was lots of privacy and it was very quiet. It was also well located, with lovely views out over the sea, and just a short walk down to Koutouloufari where there were lots of options for food and drink (note there is a short, steep hill to walk up and down (about 200m) to get to/from the village, but everyone in our group (including a 2-year old and someone in their 70s) managed fine). I can't recommend the villa enough and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Crete.

Late check out granted by the owner for a fee which was welcomed due to late flight home. Only small criticism was the hairdryers were in the bathrooms and not next to the dressing tables which made it awkward when people were waiting to shower. If I was in the area again, wouldn't hesitate to book these villas!

Owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us a warm welcome on arrival with a much appreciated welcome pack.The villa was clean and comfortable and quite well equipped although a smaller saucepan would have been handy.The villa is in a beautiful location with stunning views but the climb up the hill is not for the faint hearted. All in all we had a great week the village is wonderful and the locals are very friendly. The pool was kept very clean but was a little cold.Would definitely recommend!

Right from the start, transfers were arranged and then a lovely grocery welcome pack upon arrival. The villa was spotless and cleaned regularly. Lovely comfortable beds and pillows with excellent bedsheets. The pool, again spotless, was lovely. The owners live next door, but only entered to do pool checks and then after seeking permission. The owner Georges, went out of his way to make it a wonderful stay for us all. So a massive thank you to all from us.

We have stayed in Koutouloufari before so it was lovely to revisit the bars/ restaurants and find new ones. Hersonissos a 10/15 minute walk downhill. Not for the faint hearted walking back up.Thank you so much!!

We loved our stay at these villas, it was perfect, everything is provided for you. Slippers, sewing kit, toiletries, bread, tea & coffee, etc. They've thought of everything. The property is fantastic and beautiful.It's so close to the shops and restricted, the climb up the hill back to the villa is quite steep but manageable of you're in good health. We did have to get a few taxi's when we had shopping but that was super easy to do.

Four of us stayed in the this villa for a week on the October and found the villa very modern and clean with good quality fixtures and furnishings, it had a vovely large pool which George the owner cleaned himself every week it was a bit of a pull up the hill towards it but well worth the effort. The views were amazing and it was nice and quiet but only a five minute walk down into the lovely village where there were so many places to eat it was hard to choose which one, but ended going to Maria's every lunch time and Nixos the fisherman in the evening. Saying that you could cook in the villa as the kitchen was so well equipped. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Judith

The hosts- Gorge and Danae are very kind, attentive and helpful. we even accidentally locked our self outside one night, but we were immediately rescued... We have been in rented villas in previous trips, but this one for sure is one of the best! We all hope to come back again.

Lovely, fully-furnished property with magnificent views and plenty of seclusion.

Nice, big pool that gets cleaned and inspected for cleanliness frequently. Very welcoming hosts and hostess that go above and above to ensure your comfort.

Even though we arrived very late the owner was their to greet us, and had provided various food and drink (very welcome after a long day traveling) - so thoughtful! The villa was very well presented, with excellent facilities, well equipped kitchen, and very clean. So a very impressive start. The whole experience was was excellent, and we loved the thoughtfulness and help the owner offered. The local villagers were also so welcoming! A fantastic cheese producer and shop just down the road as well. This is a lovely villa if you want a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to go, that is also only a few minutes from the sea (by car).

The owners really go above and beyond, the villa was immaculate, lots of nice little unexpected extras made us feel really welcome. We've stayed in self catering accomodation all over and this one really stood out to us (although our first time in Greece so I'm comparing more to places in Spain). Well equipped kitchen, gorgeous pool with sea view making it very hard to tear yourself away and do any site-seeing at all...! Everything on hand in Koutouloufari, we did one supermarket shop down in Hersonissos at the Spar which is a stright-forward drive and for everything else the local shops did us fine. Lots of restaurants etc. on hand but also you have your privacy and peace and quiet. They must have grown hedges since some of these reviews were written because I wasn't aware of the neighbours much at all.

It is perfect and the hosts are fantastic.

My wife and I stayed in this Villa for 10 days. It is perfect and the hosts are fantastic. Location is amazing and the views are incredible. We will 100% be returning.

Not very often that a property exceeds expectations but these Villas are great. The owners, Mother, Father and daughter are delightful and from the moment that we booked to the time that we left we had brilliant service. The villa is clean, spacious, well equipped and of good quality too. Mother clearly has an eye for interior design as the villa is contemporary with added Cretan touches. Easily fits 6 people with a huge kitchen diner / living room, outside terrace and pool.

Amazing and friendly

We had a great stay. The owners were very accommodating and the cleaner came every day. Nice and close to shops and the town so there was no need for a car. Overall a pleasent stay.

The entire property is fantastic, including the incredibly comfortable beds. The estate offers stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Mount Pyrgia, where you can watch raptors fly directly over your head to the water to hunt. Koutouloufari is a charming, lovely village with several restaurants and pubs. Everyone seems to be quite amiable.

The villa is beautiful and peacefully located in the mountain side. It is fully equipped with all you need for a self-catering holiday. There were lots of personal touches to make your stay more comfortable (reading books, vanity sets, slippers, separate towels for the pool, etc.) The Manager, George, was supremely helpful and a genuinely hospitable man. He met us on arrival and welcomed us into the villa, explaining the complimentary items provided (coffee, tea, water, bread, cheese, ham, etc.) which was a lovely surprise. George even offered to get us wine or beer after our late arrival. He could not have been more helpful for the entirety of our stay and he was the epitome of Cretan hospitality. He stored our luggage at the end of the holiday and then drove them to our airport pick-up point at the bottom of the hill. He wouldn't even accept a tip!
