There were lots of towels, it was really clean, and the host was wonderful. She made many suggestions for places to visit and made reservations for us at many restaurants. For her, nothing was too much effort, and she was incredibly hospitable. Even…
There were lots of towels, it was really clean, and the host was wonderful. She made many suggestions for places to visit and made reservations for us at many restaurants. For her, nothing was too much effort, and she was incredibly hospitable. Even better, they left us a lovely handmade cake. All of this contributed to a wonderful vacation, and the nearby tavernas were excellent.

We had some Cretan specialties upon arrival and again in the middle of the week, and the villa was cleaned halfway through. a wonderful place to stay

We really loved this villa. The house itself is spacious, well equipped and stylish. The outside area is great, with a fantastic infinity pool and lovely places to sit. The air conditioning and sheltered outdoor space meant that we could cool off in the August heat. The village of Prines is really peaceful and friendly with two good tavernas and mini markets. It is about a 15 minute drive to the busy town of Rethymnon which has lots of shops and restaurants. The owners were fantastic, providing a welcome pack, home baked desserts and lots of help throughout our stay. We would definitely love to return to Villa Olia - it is our favourite villa of the many villas that we have rented.

Fantastic villa, perfect location

This was our 3rd holiday in Crete, but our 1st in Rethymno. The villa has everything you could wish for, stunning location, spacious, clean with the friendliest owner. Nothing was too much trouble for Stella and her family. We had some amazing meals out, most notably Veranta, which is a 2 minute walk from the villa. You do need a car if you want to explore. I couldn’t recommend this villa more.

Perfect!

Fantastic villa
