Η Villa Manavra Corfu βρίσκεται βορειοανατολικά της πόλης της Κέρκυρας, στα περίχωρα του Αγίου Μάρκου, ενός από τα παλαιότερα και πιο γραφικά χωριά του νησιού. Όπου κι αν κοιτάξετε από το κτήμα θα απολαύσετε την εκπληκτική θέα. Μπορείτε να δείτε καθαρά την εξαιρετικότητα της πόλης της Κέρκυρας και του μεγαλοπρεπούς φρουρίου της, αλλά και να απολαύσετε τις μοναδικές ομορφιές της απέραντης θέα στη θάλασσα και το τοπίο. Το παραδοσιακό Κερκυραϊκό αρχιτεκτονικό στυλ είναι το κύριο χαρακτηριστικό κάθε βίλας, που εκτελέστηκε στην τελειότητα από τον ιδιοκτήτη και την πολύ διάσημη αρχιτεκτονική κ. Περικλή Λάσκαρη.

Μόλις εγκατασταθείτε, θα νιώσετε μια μοναδική γαλήνη και αίσθηση πληρότητας χάρη στον κομψό συνδυασμό παράδοσης και πολυτέλειας. Η θέση του Manavra Villa είναι ιδανική, καθώς βρίσκονται μεταξύ πόλης και εξοχής, ώστε να μπορείτε να εκμεταλλευτείτε και τα δύο.

Μεγάλη προσοχή έχει δοθεί στους εξωτερικούς χώρους καθώς καταλαβαίνουμε ότι οι διακοπές στην Κέρκυρα έρχονται χέρι -χέρι με τον έντονο ήλιο και το μεθυστικό φεγγάρι. Πισίνες τύπου απείρου και μεγάλοι χώροι καθιστικού και τραπεζαρίας ενσωματώνονται σε έναν φυσικό βιότοπο γεμάτο δέντρα και κάθε είδους πολύχρωμα φυτά. Το Manavra Villa απολαμβάνει απόλυτη ιδιωτικότητα, καθώς είναι χτισμένα σε μεμονωμένα κομμάτια γης και δεν έχουν στενούς γείτονες.

Η Villa Manavra Corfu διαθέτει 3 υπνοδωμάτια και μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει 6 άτομα. Στο ισόγειο, υπάρχει το πρώτο υπνοδωμάτιο με δύο μονά κρεβάτια, ένα μπάνιο με νιπτήρα, τουαλέτα και ντους. Το δεύτερο υπνοδωμάτιο βρίσκεται επίσης στο ισόγειο και διαθέτει επίσης δύο μονά κρεβάτια, ένα μπάνιο με νιπτήρα, τουαλέτα και μπάνιο. Το κύριο υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεβάτι βρίσκεται στον πρώτο όροφο και έχει δικό του μπάνιο με νιπτήρα, τουαλέτα και μπανιέρα.

Ο χώρος της κουζίνας είναι μια παραδοσιακή κουζίνα, πλήρως εξοπλισμένη με καφετιέρα, φούρνο, μαγειρικά σκεύη, ψυγείο, σόμπα, φούρνο μικροκυμάτων, γκριλ, πλυντήριο πιάτων, κατσαρόλα αστακού, μπαχαρικά και ξυλόσομπα για παραδοσιακό και κλασικό μαγείρεμα. Στο βοηθητικό δωμάτιο, υπάρχει πλυντήριο ρούχων, πατάρι στεγνώματος, σίδερο και σιδερώστρα. Στο σαλόνι στο ισόγειο, υπάρχει ένας καναπές τριών θέσεων και δύο καναπέδες και στον κήπο, θα βρείτε ένα υπαίθριο κρεβάτι και μερικά σημεία για ξεκούραση και μελέτη που θα σας συναρπάσουν με την ηρεμία που σας προσφέρει Το Σίγουρα θα βρείτε χρόνο να ασκηθείτε με έναν προσωπικό «εκπαιδευτή» που διαθέτει η βίλα, το Wii με έναν προβολέα σας παρέχει ένα πρόγραμμα γυμναστικής. Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε το σύστημα Hi-Fi που διαθέτει 715 αγαπημένα τραγούδια για να χαλαρώσετε ή εναλλακτικά να παρακολουθήσετε τηλεόραση στη διαθέσιμη δορυφορική τηλεόραση. Η Villa Manavra διαθέτει επίσης κλιματισμό.

Στον εξωτερικό χώρο της βίλας, υπάρχει περιποιημένος κήπος και πισίνα που μπορούν να σας κάνουν να μείνετε στο σπίτι για πολύ καιρό για να χαλαρώσετε και να απολαύσετε. We felt totally cut off from the world and totally private. Plenty of room for the four of us to spread out. Washing machine was useful for wet and sandy clothes. Well-equipped kitchen and outdoor oven too.

This is a rare occasion when reality was better than pictures (or even semi-pro video the owners put up on their FB page). I won't say much about the villa itself - what you see is what you get, but better. :) Location is perfect, the vista is truly breathtaking - you can see as far as Corfu town (while swimming in the infinity pool or relaxing in the spacious lounge or having an al-fresco breakfast). And since the island is tiny, you can easily get anywhere and back in a day. Note that having a car is a must if you stay at this villa. Compact 4WD (like Suzuki Jimny) is your best bet - roads can be steep and narrow (that applies to the access road to the villa, too). If you are not 100% comfortable with manual transmission, try and find an automatic, or else you will face some tough "uphill battle" every day when returning to your villa. :) Nearby town of Ipsos is like local Ibiza - packed full with clubbing teens (mostly Italians) and their scooters. Mind them on roads - they tend to travel in packs and to leave brains back home. Luckily, the villa is far enough from the town and nothing will disturb your quiet evenings and nights. 2 neighbouring villas are also out of sight and far enough for privacy. North of the island has a lot to offer - I would specifically recommend an early evening drive to Paleokastritsa and back, and a trip to Mount Pantokrator (warning - parking right up there near monastery can be a real challenge, so you may opt for an easier parking somewhat lower and then walk up a few hundred meters like many others do). What I definitely recommend is to hire a boat! No need for a license - if you drive anything with a motor, you'll be fine. Try it once and you'll be sold. We were renting boats like every other day. When dickering with the rental companies, ask them for 40HP boats - most of them can offer you those (albeit at a price premium), and it is totally worth it: the performance is so much better than your garden variety 30HP engines (legal maximum allowed for non-licensed "skippers"). OK, guess I should say more about the villa (it is a property review, at the end of the day). This is a very interesting building from the design point of view, it has a unique charm and character and worth its (admittedly hefty) price tag. When we were there, the aircon in the tower bedroom did not work and the internet was down, but even that could not spoil the fun!
