If you are looking for somewhere to peaceful to relax & recharge your batteries,then this villa can offer this . From the minute you arrive, Andreas made the 5 of us feel like friends that had not seen each other in years: we arrived at the villa just after midnight and he was there waiting with such a warm welcome he had made us cold drinks {non alcoholic cocktails} Olga who we met later had made a small buffet sandwiches & pies: the chocolate cake was massive and very tasty kids loved it for the next 2 days. Absolutely brilliant welcome: Andreas is a very laid back nothing was a bother to him: we did have a few minor issues over the 10 nights we stayed however one phone call and he was onto it and got it fixed. He will sit down with you have a wee talk give you advice on the area: where to visit: where the supermarket is and good restaurants: of course you will find all that out for yourself as you travel about; A car is essential to being here at Filoxenia; it's not within walking distance to anywhere apart from the beach that is 10min walk from the front gate. The villa :: stunning a electronic gated entrance into a well kept garden area: with parking for possible 3 cars: the villa as the brochure photos show is exceptional immaculately clean they have thought of just about everything people would need to have on holiday: the fridge has a beginners pack: butter,milk, juice various; beers; cold meat; eggs; cheese: bread crisps: chocolate; cakes: water; and some fruit: nuts: The rooms are spacious very clean; plenty room for hanging clothes: the only downside we can find is there is only one bathroom up stairs for three bedrooms, no on suite: this can make things a bit hectic in the morning and at night when everyone is getting ready to go out. Of course there is another bathroom downstairs next to another bedroom so it helps and was ok for us as there was only 5- 3 adults 2 children: however if all rooms in the villa are being used then I would imagine in would be a minor issue: outside the pool area is lovely: there are two patio areas front and back great to sit there to get some shade; {sorry 3 patios there is also a nice wee patio outside the downstairs bedroom } the pool is lovely great to jump into and have a swim: or for the kids to splash around. Plenty of sun loungers with towels: there is also a piercing cold shower. There is also a barbecue available ? we picked an evening to have a Bq when it started to blow a gale we gave up : so we just ate indoors the kitchen has everything all the mod cons all the utensils you need. All the the windows except one room I think had electric shutters great for keeping the rooms cool:you also have a great air conditioner in the villa very much needed. As I said earlier the villa is a fair distance from anywhere especially if you have kids; it's too far to walk: even mojitos about 1 mile away in that heat also if you are walking back at night it is a fairly busy road not very well lit; a car is essential to living here: it is also great for getting out and exploring places: you will need it to travel to the supermarket about 5miles away. The downside is unless you are a non drinker or you don't mind driving then traveling into other areas to eat {drink} then take the car: The so called taxi { and I mean taxi} service in Gennadi is appalling and he is not cheap ((We did get him on two occasions on the night )when he gets to you 2-3 hrs after you call him: if you have sat and had a drink or two waiting on him like we did the first night and he still didn't arrive then you can't drive ; luckily I managed to stop a private airport car returning to the airport outside the villa 2hrs after the our arranged restaurant booking at 8pm. PLEASE read my review on Sergio's, where we went that night. A wonderful restaurant and Poppi she is such a loving person honestly blown away with her hospitality it is second to none : most places we ate at the food was good can't really complain about any of the eateries good value for money; however if you are hungry the portions in Sergio,s are massive ;don't go to Gennadi village and not go here .. All in all we had a great 10 days holiday big thank you to our hosts Andreas / Olga and a special thanks to Poppi and her family.

Frigo rempli ou presque, salles-de-bains hyper équipées (jusqu'aux cotons tiges!), piscine illuminée, maison impeccablement propre et en parfait état. Au-delà de ça, Filoxenia c'est une rencontre. Olga et Andreas ont été constamment attentifs à notre bien-être, notre confort. Ils nous ont prodigué une foule de conseils judicieux (restos, plages, visites...). Nous avions déjà rencontré des personnes agréables dans d'autres locations mais une telle hospitalité, un tel accueil, jamais! Merci à vous.

The villa was beautiful, very clean, everything high quality. The hosts were superb! Big pool, good location, always warm water in the showers. Very nice patios and amazing roof top terrace! We really loved our stay and felt very welcome.

The location, the endowment of the villa with absolutely everything you needed, the cleanliness, the swimming pool and the terraces of the villa all contributed to feeling very good. The hosts were superlative, starting with our reception (although the time was late), then with small culinary surprises and with various information about the places to visit. The beach, not far from the villa, very beautiful with superb water. Thanks for everything and we strongly recommend you spend beautiful days at this location. Am petrecut un sejur deosebit la această vila. Locatia ,dotarea vilei cu absolut tot ce aveai nevoie,curățenia,piscina si terasele vilei,toate au contribuit sa ne simtim foarte bine. Gazdele au fost la superlativ,începând cu primirea noastra(deși ora era tarzie),apoi cu mici surprize culinare ,cat si cu diverse informații despre locuri de vizitat. Plaja,nu departe de vila,foarte frumoasa cu o apa superba. Multumim pentru tot si recomandam cu incredere sa petreceți zile frumoase în această locație.

Everything. Filoxenia (Alex) was an ideal 'home' for our three generation family, the youngest generation was young people in their 20's and the eldest was my mother in her mid 80's. We would all go again as the villa had something for everyone...lots of space, a peaceful garden and a fabulous pool. Just pack your essentials and arrive as the villa is equipped with practically everything that you need. Andreas and Olga stocked the fridge with a nice range of basic products and there is a welcome pack with a spread of beautiful Greek products. Great location, it was peaceful but only 4kms from Gennadi with shops and bars. Lovely local restaurants and beach bar. Lastly, thank you Andreas for your great hospitality.

Das Haus kann für maximal 8 Personen gebucht werden. Es gibt 2 Bäder. Im EG mit Dusche und im OG mit Badewanne.

Everything. The hosts are just amazing. That was not just a warm welcome, it was exceptional. They were waiting for us in the house with refreshing drinks, the fridge was full of beverages and snacks, cakes and more. They helped us to find nice restaurants…

They were waiting for us in the house with refreshing drinks, the fridge was full of beverages and snacks, cakes and more. They helped us to find nice restaurants in town and was okay about late check out with no extra costs. I really recommend this place for your stay. · Самые крутые хозяева, что я видел. Встретили нас в доме с красиво поданным лимонадом, видно все сделано с любовью и вкусом. Сделали нам экскурсию по дому, оставили холодильник полным напитков и закусок, были очень милы и сказали, что поздний выезд не проблема и никакой дополнительной оплаты не нужно. Пожалуй никогда не сталкивался с такими гостеприимными и адекватными хозяевами.

To celebrate our graduation my friends and I booked both Villas. Andreas, the owner, welcomed us with open arms and was always very friendly and that's why we immediately fell in love with this place. Everything that you could possibly need was provided and whenever we needed something Olga and Andreas were there to help us. The Villas are beautiful inside and out, the garden and the pool are in a perfect condition and some of us are already planning to come back! Thank you for everything!

We spent a week in both villa's at Filoxenia. Both immaculate and perfect for us as 2 families of 4. We have stayed in villa's before but what made this one that bit more special was the extra lengths that the owners Olga & Andreas went to to make our stay pleasurable. No question was too big or small and we couldn't fault them as hosts. Andreas came to visit a couple of times a week with freshly made pastries and fruit from his garden. Delicious! Olga was always available to respond to questions we had via the app. It all worked perfectly. The villa is beautiful and has everything you need. The highlight for our children was the swimming pool! This was also immaculate! Gennadi beach is a quiet place but with a hire car everything is very accessible. We visited a lot of the south east side of the island. Beaches, taverna's, cocktail bar's etc. All in all a very memorable holiday and we would love to return.

Che dire... di meglio non ci si poteva aspettare! La villa è tale e quale alle fotografie: meravigliosa e dotata di ogni comfort, per non parlare dei proprietari Olga e Andreas che sono stati davvero ospitali e attenti. Siamo arrivati di notte e abbiamo…
Che dire... di meglio non ci si poteva aspettare! La villa è tale e quale alle fotografie: meravigliosa e dotata di ogni comfort, per non parlare dei proprietari Olga e Andreas che sono stati davvero ospitali e attenti. Siamo arrivati di notte e abbiamo trovato nel frigo deliziosi coctail e tutto il necessario (dolcetti compresi) per la colazione del giorno dopo. Ci hanno viziato anche nei giorni successivi con dolci e frutta fresca. La villa ospita comodamente 8 persone avendo 4 camere da letto matrimoniali (1 al piano terra e 3 al piano primo) e la zona giorno viene completata da due spazi esterni dotati di tavoli e sedie (uno verso l'ingresso e uno verso la piscina). La cucina ė completa di tutto e super attrezzata e all'esterno c'è un barbeque per le grigliate e un'aiuola con le erbe aromatiche. Al piano superiore c'è una bellissima terrazza con la vista sul mare forse poco utilizzabile a causa del vento... però fare l'aperitivo al tramonto è stato davvero unico. Bella la piscina dotata di comodi lettini, doccia esterna e vari giochi gonfiabili incorniciata da un bel giardino curato (ma quanto è soffice il prato?). La villa si trova a 5 min a piedi dal mare dove si possono trovate lunghe spiagge di ciotoli poco affollate. A 5 min anche il paese di Gennadi in cui si può trovare un pó di tutto, super market, fruttivendolo, panetteria, farmacia... Scendendo verso sud si arriva a Prasonisi in 20 minuti mentre nella direzione opposta si raggiunge Lindos (suggestiva l'acropoli illuminata di sera ed è molto romantico cenare sulla terrazza di qualche ristorante, bella la baia ma decisamente troppo affollata, non voglio immaginare come sia ad agosto). Una vacanza davvero piacevole e rilassante... un grazie infinito ancora ad Olga e Andreas... ci avete fatto sentire come a casa!

We stayed at Filoxenia Villas in late September as a group of 8 friends. The villa was lovely, modern and clean. One of the nicest we have stayed in. Andreas met us on arrival with a welcome drink and to show us around - he couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. The pool is very large and there are 6 sunbeams - as there was 8 of us Andreas kindly borrowed 2 from the couple staying in the villa next door (which him and Olga also own). The villa is a fair way from the supermarket and the local town - this suited our group well as we were focused on enjoying each others company. Having a car is advised although we didn't have a car and used local taxis to get around. Andreas gave us a list of local places to eat and the food was delicious - one evening the restaurant owner gave us a lift back to save us booking a taxi! Overall, we had an amazing trip and highly recommend.

We have holidayed in many villas, and this one is one of the best by far. From the lovely genuine warm welcome we received when we arrived this whole experience was a delight. The villa is in a lovely quiet part of Rhodes, but with plenty of delicious restaurants within a 5 minute drive. A stunning view over the sea from the two front bedrooms is a great start to any day. Every room is beautifully presented, and everything you could possibly need for your stay is here already (toiletries, pool towels, hair dryers, etc..). The gardens are lovely, and the pool large and clean (even if it does take your breath away when you first get in..!). You get a constant breeze here, sometimes very windy, but that is nice that it takes the edge of the summer heat. We rarely holiday in the same place more than once, but all in our family said they would love to return to Rhodes and this villa. A car is essential, but it means you can explore easily what this wonderful island has to offer. Olga and Andreas are wonderful hosts and make the booking and arrivals process seamless. I would 100% recommend this villa if you are looking to holiday in the south of Rhodes.

Where to start? We stayed a couple of nights (3 families) and as it turns we could not have made a better choice. The owners (Andreas & Olga) are genuinely nice people. The pro photos rarely reflect the reality but in this case they do! We had shopped a bit on the way to Gennadiou (abt 45 mins from Rhodes central), but as it turns out we did not need half of the stuff that we bought! Andreas greeted us with freshly made cocktails with fresh mint from the garden and showed around the place. It has everything you can possibly think of (+more). Even BBQ and the charcoal, next to the herb garden! what a dream. The villas are in a quiet location and Rhodes is not that big. Well, if you are planning on partying every night and getting home, this is probably not the best choice for you. But to relax and explore the island (with kids like we did) it is ideal. Nice beaches within 10 mins walking distance, windsurfing paradise "Prasonisi" just around the corner, Lindos a 10 min drive... Just rent a van and you are living a 5 star dream. Words cannot express how nice the villa, the garden, the pool and most importantly the hosts are. We will definitely return and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to explore the island and have a classy holiday!

Of course there is another bathroom downstairs next to another bedroom so it helps and was ok for us as there was only 5- 3 adults 2 children: however if all rooms in the villa are being used then I would imagine in would be a minor issue: outside the pool area is lovely: there are two patio areas front and back great to sit there to get some shade; {sorry 3 patios there is also a nice wee patio outside the downstairs bedroom } the pool is lovely great to jump into and have a swim: or for the kids to splash around. Plenty of sun loungers with towels: there is also a piercing cold shower. There is also a barbecue available ? we picked an evening to have a Bq when it started to blow a gale we gave up : so we just ate indoors the kitchen has everything all the mod cons all the utensils you need. All the the windows except one room I think had electric shutters great for keeping the rooms cool:you also have a great air conditioner in the villa very much needed. As I said earlier the villa is a fair distance from anywhere especially if you have kids; it's too far to walk: even mojitos about 1 mile away in that heat also if you are walking back at night it is a fairly busy road not very well lit; a car is essential to living here: it is also great for getting out and exploring places: you will need it to travel to the supermarket about 5miles away. The downside is unless you are a non drinker or you don't mind driving then traveling into other areas to eat {drink} then take the car: The so called taxi { and I mean taxi} service in Gennadi is appalling and he is not cheap ((We did get him on two occasions on the night )when he gets to you 2-3 hrs after you call him: if you have sat and had a drink or two waiting on him like we did the first night and he still didn't arrive then you can't drive ; luckily I managed to stop a private airport car returning to the airport outside the villa 2hrs after the our arranged restaurant booking at 8pm. PLEASE read my review on Sergio's, where we went that night. A wonderful restaurant and Poppi she is such a loving person honestly blown away with her hospitality it is second to none : most places we ate at the food was good can't really complain about any of the eateries good value for money; however if you are hungry the portions in Sergio,s are massive ;don't go to Gennadi village and not go here .. All in all we had a great 10 days holiday big thank you to our hosts Andreas / Olga and a special thanks to Poppi and her family.

Une hospitalité incroyable pour un séjour de rêve

Arrivée deux heures en retard. Andreas nous attendait avec ses jus de fruit et ses en-cas délicieux. Frigo rempli ou presque, salles-de-bains hyper équipées (jusqu'aux cotons tiges!), piscine illuminée, maison impeccablement propre et en parfait état. Au-delà de ça, Filoxenia c'est une rencontre. Olga et Andreas ont été constamment attentifs…

Olga et Andreas ont été constamment attentifs à notre bien-être, notre confort. Ils nous ont prodigué une foule de conseils judicieux (restos, plages, visites...). Nous avions déjà rencontré des personnes agréables dans d'autres locations mais une telle hospitalité, un tel accueil, jamais! Merci à vous.
