We stayed 2 weeks in Eirini's beautiful villa. The trip couldn't have been better! When we arrived, Eirini was waiting for us with some local products and she took the time to discuss with us and explain which beaches and restaurants were the best! She is extremely kind and attentive to her guests! But let's get back to the villa itself! Very spacious, it has three bedrooms, two of which have extremely comfortable king size beds (pillows too!) and a third bedroom with two single beds (which we did not use). The house is very clean and well decorated, very simply and with good taste! The kitchen is fully equipped. The swimming pool gives the terrace all its interest! Eirini helped us to rent a vehicle and the landlord came to bring the vehicle to the villa and picked it up when we left. Very practical! We will keep a very good memory. Thank you again !!!

Great location, well equipped villa with fantastic views of the bay. Ireni the owner and her husband were very nice.” The little area is called Ponti and is the opposite end of the bay from Vasiliki itself. The pool area is fantastic and has marvellous views across the bay, where most afternoons many windsurfers zip across the bay. The villa is very well equipped with all amenities and is well lit at night, there were only two of us but the villa could easily cope with a large family. There are some nice tavernas a short walk down the hill, 3 that are right on the beach, they were all very similar serving typical nice , healthy Greek food but we were slightly underwhelmed as we have had some exquisite samples in the past. The Taverna up the hill was very average but had great views. The lovely beach ( great for windsurfing, paddle boarding)is a short walk away downhill but what goes down must up There’s a lot more choice of restaurants in Vasilki itself which is only a 15 minute walk but we only made it one day as we quickly became too chilled to bother. As previous folk have mentioned old folk, those with young kids or the unfit may find the walk back to the villa from the beach tough, I strongly advise a car. The lower twin villa would be more suitable for those who find steps difficult as villa Ireni still has some steps from the car park. Thanks for a wonderful holiday Ireni ( and Mr. Ireni), we loved your beautiful villa.

We come back every year. Wouldn't go anywhere else

This is the fourth year we have been coming here. We have our annual family meeting here. We are 12 people so we rent both houses and we all love it. I can only repeat all the positiv comments made here. Especially the hospitality of the owner Eirini. We had a quad that had a dead batterie and within 15 minutes she was there with her husband and they charged the batterie for us. Every once in while one of us suggests having our meeting somewhere else in greece, or a different country, but we keep coming back because its just so perfect!

Staying at Elena Villa (the upper villa, so further from the road) was a fantastic experience! The Villa has an amazing view of the clear blue (cold) waters below (Vassiliki bay) and there are plenty of compfortable balconies and seating areas in which to take in the many wind surfers zipping across the bay. The pool was clean, welcoming and just perfect for the kids (as well as the adults - there is a deeper part too so you can actually swim a bit). Inside, the villa is very tastefully decorated, the beds super comfortable, and plenty of room for everything. Eirini was the perfect host, extremely hard working yet only too happy to help for any requests we had and also giving us useful tips and ideas. I can't think of anything that was not positive - maybe the owner could bargain with the owners of the few buildings below so that guests could take a short cut to the beach and restaurants? but really, the distance is not far at all, just in the heat it sometimes felt far. We would very much love to come back again!

We spent 2 weeks in villa Elena in early September 2017 visiting our son who was working on Vasiliki beach teaching sailing. It is an easy walk from villa Elena down to Ponti with it's various tavernas and supermaket and to the Vasiliki beach. The villa very conveniently placed overlooking the whole of Vasiliki Bay from a quiet, peaceful location. The villa is exceptionally well equipped and very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the pool. Eirini, our host, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I throughly recommend anyone considering a holiday in Vasiliki Bay to check out Calmwave Villas - you won't be disappointed.

Calmwave villas really are the best in Vasiliki. Perfect location with a wonderful view. Lovely, clean spacious villa and pool. Nothing was too much trouble - the owner made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the windsurfing, a short walk down the road at Ponti Beach. The locals in Vasiliki and Ponti entertained us well each evening and we ate some lovely food in a variety of restaurants. We had everything we needed for a wonderful relaxing family holiday. We will be back!

Best Villa experience

Apologies it has taken me so long to write review. Stayed here in July whilst on holiday but have lived and worked in Vass for years, I decided to take my family out on a holiday (three children) so needed our own pool etc. Initially I was un sure about Eirini's place as no one at the windsurfing centres knew much about it but we went out last September and had a quick look around along with meeting Eirini. The place looked ideal for us. We had my family of 4 (two kids under 4), sister family of 3 (one 1.5 year old) and my mother stay at the villa (there was room for one more). Villa was perfect for our needs, very clean, tidy, well organised and well equipped (with and without kids). We stayed in the lower villa... for this I am glad as my 60 year old mother struggled to walk up the very very steep driveway. Villa is approximately a 5 minute walk from Ponti beach along the road (not a nice road to walk with kids) or you can go down the steps which cuts out the road but these steps are private and the local female owner gets very touchy when you use them (even if you offer her a financial reward)... there are more steps further up the hill about 100 metres that go down to the bottom of Ponti. We did hire a car and we did use it sometimes to ferry to mother and the kids around but if it were just us young adults I wouldn't need or use a car. Eirini was very attentive, she came and cleaned a couple of times, the pool was great... lots of wasps this time but that was bad luck I think.. Nothing was too much to ask for Eirini, she helped us a lot with the organisation for the kids. I highly recommend this place, it's not cheap compared to some of the air bnb etc but it's well worth the money and is very private (even with the other villa next door which you barely know is there) Photographs of the villa don't do it justice, it feels like luxury. We will be back again once we save up some more €€€ Thanks for a great stay.
