Considerata da molti la più bella villa sulla costa dell'Africa orientale, la Cliff Villa si affaccia sull'Oceano Indiano e la sua posizione elevata garantisce privacy e vista mozzafiato. La seconda Garden Villa privata dispone di una grande veranda lussureggiante e di una piscina privata a sfioro con viste indimenticabili sull'Oceano Indiano che cambia le maree. Gli ospiti apprezzeranno il prato ondulato che scorre dalla piscina e dalla terrazza fino a una spiaggia intima. L'ultima, Beach Villa, è una villa di design africano con un alto tetto in makuti, situata a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, offre il massimo del lusso fronte mare.

Very relaxing and stunning views and service

The views from the property are incredible and you can spend all day watching the fishermen and children playing in the rockpools. Beach nearby is not great but you can easily walk to areas where there is more sand and right in front of villa is a wonderful natural rock pool full of sand. In reality you wont want to leave the villa since it is not only tastefully decorated but what really makes the stay special, has excellent and friendly service from the two butlers (Joffrey and Duncan in our case at the Cliff Villa). Food is good, fresh Italian inspired/seafood fare and always very tasty. If I was to make a small complaint it is that you do eat a lot of pasta which though I enjoy my wife does not and sometimes it did feel a little uncomfortable asking for something else. However they are always helpful in offering alternatives and would reiterate that I thoroughly enjoyed the food. You can do small nearby excursions (we went to nearby shops, walk on the main beach and the dhow trip to a nearby sandbank) which were all easy to arrange, with friendly staff from the villa and enjoyable. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would certainly return since it offers a more interesting, personal and less touristy experience to other Indian ocean beach places.

Your private villa with butler, drinks and massage right next to the ocean

My wife and I had invited our 5 children, their spouses and 8 grandchildren on a safari to Kenya. After 4 very active days looking for wild animals in the willdernes, we wanted four days of rest somewhere along the 60 kilometer white beach south of Mombasa…
My wife and I had invited our 5 children, their spouses and 8 grandchildren on a safari to Kenya. After 4 very active days looking for wild animals in the willdernes, we wanted four days of rest somewhere along the 60 kilometer white beach south of Mombasa. Τhe choice fell on the three adjoining Alfajiri Villas at Diani Beach. The three villas with their 11 rooms could accomodate the whole party of 21 family members much more privately than any hotel. It was a great succes. Each house has it's own butler, who serves the breakfast and any drinks you would like at any point in time. For lunch and dinner we all met at the main house. The food was very well prepared Italian cuisine using the good local seafood (craps, calamari etc.) The style and interieur decoration of the villas are very artfull with lots of ambiance, style and charm. The staff is very, very helpful and attentive and very pleasant to be around. Each house has it's own pool and you are offered massage every day. Sitting relaxed in Alfajiris beatifull, quiet surroundings with a cool drink after a nice massage and a good meal looking out over the sea is definitively recommendable

I just got back from Alfajiri Villas with my family. We had an absolutely amazing experience! When we arrived the Villas we were blown away by its beauty and the staff were very pleasant, all of them had great attitudes and wore genuine smiles everyday. Geoffrey was our butler who worked with Ephraim both of them were extremely wonderful and keen that we have a marvelous experience. We also loved Kimanzi who went an extra mile to ensure we choose the best water sports activities.The massage ladies were very pleasant and patient. The food was world class, everything was fresh and yummy, we discussed our menu for the day in the morning and got above and beyond what we expected. We loved how the food was presented and how they had different linen each night. This villa is way above your imagination! We all cannot wait to go back to Alfajiri Villas very soon. Alfajiri is home and fabulous!!! We have finally found a place we can escape too!!!

If you have a 'Bucket List' then add this!

Well haven't reviewed many trips recently, I just don't seem to ever have time. However, when one has an experience such as this, one feels compelled to put something down in writing. First and foremost, please forget all the negative things you hear…
Well haven't reviewed many trips recently, I just don't seem to ever have time. However, when one has an experience such as this, one feels compelled to put something down in writing. First and foremost, please forget all the negative things you hear about Kenya...this place is safe, peaceful, beautiful and this trip was one of the nicest experiences my wife and I have ever experienced. Lots of you have heard about a 'Bucket ' if you haven't, please look it up. Please, I urge you to have one and can I suggest that this place is added...when you 'tick the box' you will do it with a great deal of pleasure and happy memories. So, my visit to Alfajiri was a couple of months ago, but I remember every second. You fly into Ukunda...a 30 minute or so flight from Nairobi and your driver picks you up and it is a 5 minute run to the Villa. The place is unsigned and off the main road but when you arrive, you are met by the owner and walk into an oasis of heaven. We had the beach villa, Fabrizio, the owner introduced us to Iphraim (our butler) and Kamanza (his assistant). Apologies for the spelling guys! Now, my wife and I are from a very middle class background, so it is odd to have two people looking after you so personally during your stay, but they were marvellous. You hardly ever saw them...they kept away from us...but strangely, whenever you wanted something...they appeared, as if by magic! They were happy, funny, helpful and the service was out of this world. As to the villa itself...wow...what a place. It was absolute perfection and beauty all rolled into one. The rooms were stunning, the view of the Indian Ocean from our bedroom was quite amazing and the whole ambience was one of the best I have ever experienced. Every day was just total peace, pleasure and pampering. Fabrizio met us every morning and evening to discuss what we would like to eat, Iphraim was there to provide coffees and teas, or more often than not ice cold beer, wine and gin and tonics. The meals were excellent and were taken when we were ready and no pressure on us to keep to a timetable. I could go on, but I have work to do, so I will leave you to make your own mind up. All I can say is, if I ever find anywhere as perfect as this, I will let you readers know. Go on, spoil yourself...I did and I got a lot of 'brownie points' with the missus!!
