Outstanding in every way

Architecturally stunning with cathedral like space flowing into outdoor decks with panoramic views. Great interior styling right down to Alessi fruitbowl! Location couldn't be better just 5 min away from small local beaches and 2 great tavernas. More…
Architecturally stunning with cathedral like space flowing into outdoor decks with panoramic views. Great interior styling right down to Alessi fruitbowl! Location couldn't be better just 5 min away from small local beaches and 2 great tavernas. More excellent restaurants a little further afield and lovely Chania only about an hour away. We went with plans to explore but ended up spending 2 weeks relaxing at villa with occasional forays to swim with the fishes before a lazy lunch. Nice little extras like a well stocked medicine cabinet. Fantastic pool long enough to swim in properly. Nikos the owner is a delightful man and a superb host. Communication with him and the manager was excellent before we arrived. This will be a very hard one to beat!

We stay here at the end of September in the most beautiful weather. The very friendly and also German-speaking host, Nikos, received us.He started with the visit on the ground floor with the well-furnished GYM with sauna, then it went upstairs to the living area. After each staircase we received a new highlight and an even nicer terrace overlooking the sea and the coast. The exceptional architecture of this house with the many open surfaces and glass fronts is very unusual and especially for a holiday home.The kitchen is fully equipped (even with egg cups, fresh oil/vinegar, honey) TOLL and even the first breakfast was taken care of. In addition, our charming host gave us a bottle of Prosecco and lots of valuable information about restaurants and attractions nearby.We felt very welcome and felt incredibly comfortable in the villa. You can chill wonderfully on every of the many levels and enjoy the sunset. The wonderful pool overlooking the sea is terrific and the sun terrace with the many loungers extremely quiet and spacious.Of course you need a car, but there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and 2 places nearby, it doesn't get boring.Nikos, I'll definitely see you again!!!

That was our first time in Crete and we're happy to have made such a good choice. The building itself is very well designed, an impressive volume in the main living area with a very high ceiling gives an impression of openness, multiple terraces around the villa allowing you to choose between sun and shadow at any time of the day. One of them provides the perfect place to eat in the morning and evening, the other one the perfect place to chill out and appreciate the sunset. The pool is impressive, as long as a public one would be(but narrower) with a depth going from 110cm(suitable for children) to 190cm. It's a real pleasure to swim and appreciate the view. The temperature is correct too, it's really refreshing and pleasant. The jacuzzi and sunbeds area are a very nice addition, the whole family appreciated it and used it intensely. There's no need to heat the water as it's naturally at 30°C. Gym and sauna are also available. Everything is air-conditioned and each room have even their own air-conditioner. The rooms are also amazing: comfortable beds and the best view you could have in the morning. They are quiet and separated, so you can enjoy them fully even if you have your children in the other bedroom ;) The bathroom design, with another very good use of the vertical space, is also marvellous, with a very sophisticated bathtub and plenty of room.

We found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor spaces; there are four individual terrace/patio areas where you can eat, drink, relax, take a swim or enjoy the sunset. Inside, everything is very well laid out, convenient and high quality (including the soap/toiletries provided). Having a piano was a real bonus. It is a short drive from a small beach and a couple of fish tavernas. We visited the Waves on the Rocks taverna a few times and it was very good. For dinners we usually prepared something simple at home in order to take advantage of the sunset views looking out across the water towards the Gravmousa peninsula. The owner was very helpful and nice. We are looking forward to another trip hopefully next year. Also, we loved the swimming, hiking, food and culture of Crete.

This is the second time we have stayed at Niko's villa and it was just as amazing the second time around. When we stayed here the first time we were just a couple, but with the second visit we had kids, and they have added safety barriers so that the kids do not go up and down the stairs. This is a plus! Nikos was very responsive when we had some little issues in the house, and he always brought us nice treats when he did pass by. The views of the house is what we came for...honestly you cannot have a better sunset view anywhere! It's a beautiful place, and hope to stay again at Nikos the third time around!

Our second stay here and it was amazing. The owner is a perfect host and wants you to relax and enjoy this small piece Creten heaven. The architecture is awesome, everywhere you look there is an amazing view. The infinity pool, the outside kitchen and decking area, the two balconies provide places to relax, read, eat and watch the sunset. Taverna, Wave on the rocks is great, fresh fish and delicious cold beer under a shaded terrace off the beach. The best bit is the silence, swallows dipping and diving over the pool and the sunsets...... Magical.

The pool is great and also offers a beautiful view of the bay. The kitchen is well equipped (even with a wine fridge) and the dishwasher worked after some initial difficulties. Nikos welcomed us warmly and was very helpful.

The villa provides everything necessary for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful hillside setting, high above Kissamos bay in western Crete. The villa is modern, comfortable and has everything necessary for a perfect "get away from it all" holiday. It is beautifully designed, with balconies high above the water, where it's possible to eat, to relax, to swim, to lounge in the hot tub (especially lovely early in the morning) or just to sit and enjoy the magnificent views. My wife, son and daughter in law and I had a fabulous time there, sometimes chilling out at the villa and on other days visiting the gorgeous beaches within easy driving distance of Ravdoucha, such as Elafonissi and Balos. We loved the villa so much that cooking there was no chore, however we also enjoyed eating out, especially at the Pallas Restaurant in Chania, where the food is great and the rooftop tables give a gorgeous view over the old harbour. The villa owner, Nikos, is delightful. Nothing is too much trouble for him. In fact, he is the perfect host! If you are looking for a touch of luxury in an unspoiled setting, the villa is a perfect choice. We loved it.

The pictures barely do the place justice. Enough off the beaten path to be exclusive and a close enough drive to reach the major attractions around the island. Nico was a superb host and couldn't do more to help us have a fantastic week, even delivering us the odd local delicacy as a treat. Nothing seemed too much trouble for him. With multiple terraces, a jacuzzi and the pool you barely need to leave. I would highly recommend the villa to absolutely anyone. The only advice is that you certainly need a car.

The pool, balconies and terraces, so well laid out. As well, Nikos, the owner was so kind and friendly, we looked forward to seeing him when we could. He tried to make our stay problem-free and was so quick to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend this villa to anyone thinking of going to Greece and getting away from it all. We stay here at the end of September in the most beautiful weather. The very friendly and also German-speaking host, Nikos, received us.He started with the visit on the ground floor with the well-furnished GYM with sauna, then it went upstairs to the living area. After each staircase we received a new highlight and an even nicer terrace overlooking the sea and the coast. The exceptional architecture of this house with the many open surfaces and glass fronts is very unusual and especially for a holiday home.The kitchen is fully equipped (even with egg cups, fresh oil/vinegar, honey) TOLL and even the first breakfast was taken care of. In addition, our charming host gave us a bottle of Prosecco and lots of valuable information about restaurants and attractions nearby.We felt very welcome and felt incredibly comfortable in the villa. You can chill wonderfully on every of the many levels and enjoy the sunset. The wonderful pool overlooking the sea is terrific and the sun terrace with the many loungers extremely quiet and spacious.Of course you need a car, but there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and 2 places nearby, it doesn't get boring.Nikos, I'll definitely see you again!!!

That was our first time in Crete and we're happy to have made such a good choice. The building itself is very well designed, an impressive volume in the main living area with a very high ceiling gives an impression of openness, multiple terraces around the villa allowing you to choose between sun and shadow at any time of the day. One of them provides the perfect place to eat in the morning and evening, the other one the perfect place to chill out and appreciate the sunset. The pool is impressive, as long as a public one would be(but narrower) with a depth going from 110cm(suitable for children) to 190cm. It's a real pleasure to swim and appreciate the view. The temperature is correct too, it's really refreshing and pleasant. The jacuzzi and sunbeds area are a very nice addition, the whole family appreciated it and used it intensely. There's no need to heat the water as it's naturally at 30°C. Gym and sauna are also available. Everything is air-conditioned and each room have even their own air-conditioner. The rooms are also amazing: comfortable beds and the best view you could have in the morning. They are quiet and separated, so you can enjoy them fully even if you have your children in the other bedroom ;) The bathroom design, with another very good use of the vertical space, is also marvellous, with a very sophisticated bathtub and plenty of room.
