Το Athinas Villa Chania διαθέτει μεγάλους χώρους καθιστικού, δύο πλήρως εξοπλισμένες κουζίνες, τρία υπνοδωμάτια με ιδιωτικό μπάνιο, ανεξάρτητο στούντιο, ιδιωτική πισίνα, μεγάλες βεράντες με θέα στη θάλασσα και χώρο μπάρμπεκιου. Η κομψή βίλα είναι ένα μείγμα παραδοσιακών (εξωτερικών) αλλά μοντέρνων και κλασικών σχεδίων (εσωτερικού χώρου). Εσωτερικά ζεστά χρώματα, υπέροχη μοντέρνα διακόσμηση, λεπτές λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν μια όμορφη ατμόσφαιρα και όλες οι απαραίτητες εγκαταστάσεις είναι εδώ για να ολοκληρώσουν την αίσθηση και την εμφάνιση της πολυτέλειας.

Στο ισόγειο, μπορείτε να βρείτε ένα πολυτελές στούντιο με πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, ευρύχωρο σαλόνι με καναπέ -κρεβάτι, πολυτελές μπάνιο με τζακούζι, γωνιά internet, βιβλιοθήκη, μίνι γυμναστήριο και παιδότοπο. Στον δεύτερο όροφο, υπάρχουν τρία κλιματιζόμενα υπνοδωμάτια με ιδιωτικό μπάνιο, υφάσματα και έπιπλα, όλα διακοσμημένα σε πολύχρωμους, απαλούς και ρομαντικούς τόνους, μοντέρνους πίνακες. Ένα μεγάλο υπνοδωμάτιο με κρεβάτι king size και ένα υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεβάτι, μοιράζονται ένα κοινό ευρύχωρο μπαλκόνι με έπιπλα, προσφέροντας απίστευτη, πανοραμική θέα στο Κρητικό πέλαγος και τα βουνά της Λεύκας Όρι. Το τρίτο υπνοδωμάτιο είναι διακοσμημένο με έντονα χρώματα σε πορτοκαλί και μπεζ και διαθέτει επίσης ένα διπλό κρεβάτι και ιδιωτικό μπάνιο. Απολαμβάνει τη δική του ιδιωτική βεράντα με μοναδική θέα. Όλα τα δωμάτια διαθέτουν μεγάλα μπαλκόνια με θέα στη θάλασσα και τους παραδεισένιους κήπους που φωτίζονται τη νύχτα δημιουργώντας μια ξεχωριστή και ρομαντική ατμόσφαιρα.

Ανάμεσα στους καταπράσινους κήπους, υπάρχουν εξωτικά φυτά και ζωντανά τριαντάφυλλα. Η πισίνα και η παιδική πισίνα έχουν απόλυτη ιδιωτικότητα. Ομπρέλες και ξαπλώστρες, ντους, χώρος μπάρμπεκιου με υπαίθρια τραπεζαρία, γρασίδι και παιδική χαρά για παιδιά σας περιμένουν και την οικογένειά σας. Διατίθεται επίσης ιδιωτικός χώρος στάθμευσης.

The home itself is magnificent both inside and out, and the views of the sea, the mountains, and the picturesque countryside in between are just breathtaking. The pool and surrounding area are excellent, and there are many various places to rest, unwind, and eat.

When we got there, the kitchen was stocked with pastries, drinks, cheese, charcuterie, and fresh fruits and veggies! In conclusion, I wholeheartedly endorse this location; both the villa and the graciousness of the host will not let you down.

There were numerous terraces, a sizable pool, a sizable garden, a barbeque area, a cold basement, and the gracious hospitality and personal welcome from the owner with welcome presents were wonderful. We were given recommendations for trips at the beginning of our vacation, occasional deliveries of fresh vegetables, and repeated checks to see how we were doing and whether we needed anything further. Our wish for a pizza scoop was swiftly granted, and a little technical issue was resolved without delay. We particularly appreciated the hosts' environmental consciousness, which included their use of solar-heated water, garbage separation (which is unusual in Greece), and organically grown veggies and herbs. We had a wonderful time, and we will most certainly be back

Following an extensive search for a suitable location to book a Honeymoon this was my decision; I could not have wished for better. We arrived to the villa draped in ribbons and a congratulations card; and in the fridge was a wonderful homemade cake baked especially for us. My wife was nothing short of delighted (it was a surprise) and we were both relaxing almost immediately. Finding the villa is relatively simple and it is slightly away from the nearest town, however this is nothing more than a short walk yet far enough to give you complete privacy. If you need anything there is a shop and a small taverna close by in a small peaceful village where the people are wonderfully helpful. It should be said though that a car is recommended, this will allow you to visit the many wonderful places Crete has to offer like the beaches at Falasarna and Elafonsi; we even got as far as Knossos! Athinas villa is also let directly by the owner instead of an agency so it is treated with great care which is very noticeable. The owner Meropi (Mary) also has a wonderful family who visited us a couple of times to bring fresh eggs, cakes and courgette flowers and also say to just say hello, you don’t get this on a package holiday! It has to be said that the Greek people (particularly on Crete) are some of the friendliest I have ever encountered. Athinas villa is not only beautiful it is also very new, all of the furniture works beautifully in the house; modern looking and slightly minimalist but very elegant and comfortable. It feels much more like a home than a holiday property. The views from the villa are also spectacular, ranging from the snow covered mountains in the distance down to seashore at Gerani and Platanias. Great features include; The pool – Wonderfully cool and refreshing, a shallow area for children but also kept immaculately clean and regularly maintained by Mary’s husband and young sons (who were also a pleasure to meet) The coffee machine - If you are a coffee fan it’s always nice to have The jacuzzi bath – A particular favourite of my wife's Wireless Internet – I used it for my IPad but there is a laptop available in the villa which can be useful for finding places to visit or great restaurants. (I would mention here though that Mary does know of a fantastic seafront restaurant which is hidden away and serves the most wonderful seafood. I won’t mention it by name on here though to keep it slightly secret; you will just have to ask Mary.) The numerous balconies - Great views from many different places around the villa. This is also good for photographs Air conditioning everywhere - Stay cool if you need to, Crete can get rather warm! This villa, along with Mary and her family, ensured we could not have wished for more from our honeymoon. I would recommend Villa Athinais to anyone, it is wonderful.

The location of the villa is supreme, there is a fantastic view of both the sea and the high White Mountains. The villa is very luxury, with a lot of space, inside and outside the villa and also very comfortable. The family who owns the villa is very nice and very helpful and they keep the place very clean! The environment is very quiet, so you feel relaxed on the first day. The pool area is very spacy and also the many terraces with good furniture (no plastic chairs!) give many opportunities to enjoy the sun anytime of the day. The village of Platanias is very close and just a few minutes drive with the car. Perfect place for a perfect holiday! A place you don't want to leave and if you have to, you want to come back next week.

Fabulous setting, perfect for spending family time, everything ran well with Manolis informing us of beautiful local beaches and all places of interest. His friendly parents kept us supplied with tasty home grown produce which we thoroughly enjoyed. They put a lot of effort in to make sure we were all happy and enjoying ourselves, even surprising our daughter with a lovely birthday cake and candles making it a very special day, we could not ask for more generous caring people. The local tavern was friendly and only a short stroll away serving delicious food in pleasant relaxing surroundings. We found a special place and had a very special holiday, Thank you all so very much.
