Ένας καλλιτέχνης και ένας επιμελητής τέχνης (Αντώνης και Σοφία) δημιούργησαν μια ενότητα σπιτιών με ένα φλερτ στο διάσημο σπίτι του αρχιτέκτονα Le Corbusier Le Cabanon - ό,τι χρειάζεται ένας άνθρωπος χωρίς υπερβολικό χώρο, στην εκπληκτική γύρω φύση (της απέραντης ελιές σε αυτήν την περίπτωση) και με θέα στη θάλασσα και πρόσβαση σε μια ήσυχη παραλία μόλις 10 λεπτά μακριά.

Παρόμοια με το όραμα του Le Corbusier, καθένα από αυτά τα σπίτια είναι προσαρμοσμένο σε μια κλίμακα "Μεσογειακής ισορροπίας", σχεδιασμένη με βάση τις ελάχιστες δυνατές διαστάσεις και τη μέγιστη σωματική και πνευματική άνεση που θα μπορούσε να προσφέρει. Η φιλοσοφία πίσω από αυτό το έργο είναι να βρεθείτε σε ένα σύγχρονο καταφύγιο, κρυμμένο από τον κόσμο αλλά αρκετά κοντά σε όλες τις παραλίες της περιοχής, να καθίσετε στον καυτό μεσημεριανό ήλιο στη βεράντα στην ησυχία του ή ίσως κατά τη διάρκεια του ηλιοβασιλέματος, απολαμβάνοντας ένα ποτήρι του κρασιού και ένα ωραίο βιβλίο. Η πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα σάς επιτρέπει να μαγειρεύετε όλα τα τοπικά προϊόντα, τα κρεβάτια σίγουρα θα σας προσφέρουν τον καλό βραδινό ύπνο που λαχταρούσατε και το ελαιόλαδο που θα δοκιμάσετε θα είναι από τα ελαιόδεντρα γύρω σας.

This is one of the most relaxing place you will ever stay at. Waking up to that view and having breakfast on the balcony (with the fresh greek food kindly provided in the fridge by Sofia and Antonis) is priceless. Same goes for star gazing, while listening to the crickets sing at night. The bed is very comfortable, the place is well designed, there is everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. It is a one of a kind airbnb and comes highly recommended. Well situated with gorgeous Falassarna beach just 20min away, and within reasonable driving distance to Balos beach, Chania, and Elafonissi it’s the perfect base to explore Crete. Also Crete has amazing food!

Imagine being on the most beautiful island and not wanting to go out of the house sometimes because it was just perfect staying on the terrace :) The house is really as spectacular as you can imagine it from the pictures! The fridge was filled to the rim with fresh local veggies and fruits when we arrived, Sofia and Antonis even provided water, coffee and wine. We got many great restaurant tips from Sofia and communication was so easy with her, thanks again for that! We will definitely come back!
