Perfect House!

This house is just perfect for a holiday. You have a wonderful view, enough place for a larger group and a swimming pool. The host was always reachable for our questions and did take care of any kind of problem. We had a very good time in this Villa…

Sehr schöne Villa mit mega Ausblick

Wenn man etwas abseits wohnen möchte und einen Leihwagen besitzt, ist die Villa perfekt. Es gibt Restaurants in der Nähe, der Bär tanzt allerdings etwas weiter Richtung Chania. Wir waren zu viert, und konnten richtig laut sein, ohne Beschwerden befürchten…
Wenn man etwas abseits wohnen möchte und einen Leihwagen besitzt, ist die Villa perfekt. Es gibt Restaurants in der Nähe, der Bär tanzt allerdings etwas weiter Richtung Chania. Wir waren zu viert, und konnten richtig laut sein, ohne Beschwerden befürchten zu müssen. In 15 bis 20 min ist man mit dem Auto mitten im Geschehen, nach Chania sind es gute 50 min. Im Haus ist grundsätzlich alles vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr hart, ansonsten gibt es eigentlich nichts zu meckern. Im Erdgeschoss ist es zum schlafen etwas warm. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall zum weiter empfehlen. Am Ausblick im oberen Stockwerk kann man sich gar nicht satt sehen

This was a superb villa

Everything we had hoped for. The owner was very hospitable and the fresh produce provided was a wonderful welcome. We would definitely recommend this villa and your company to friends and family and hope we can visit Crete again in the near future.

Perfekt

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Theocharis Villa. Während unserem Aufenthalt wurde die Villa zwei mal gereinigt, die Betten wurden neu bezogen und die Handtücher wurden ausgetauscht. Das Haus war sauber und alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Der innen als auch der außen Pool wurden regelmäßig gereinigt und man hatte ein super klares Wasser. Im großen Pool konnte man morgens super ein paar Bahnen schwimmen und konnte so perfekt in den Tag starten. Am großen Grill konnte man schöne gemütliche Grillabende verbringen. Die Umgebung der Villa ist sehr ruhig und man kann einfach abschalten. Der Ausblick von der oberen Terrasse ist einmalig man sieht direkt das Meer. Wenn man abends etwas essen gehen möchte erreicht man die ersten Restaurants nach einem ca. 15 min. Fußweg. Dieses Haus würden wir wieder buchen. Vom Vermieter erhielten wir zu Beginn einen Korb mit einigen süßen Kleinigkeiten und selbsthergestelltes Olivenöl. Nachmal an dieser Stelle vielen Dank dafür und es war sehr lecker.

The Perfect Villa

We loved our stay in this beautiful Villa. Everything we needed for a relax vacation was included. Nice pool outside with everything you could wish for. Eveything was nice and clean inside with the 2 bathrooms more then we needed. Nice to sit outside…

Fantastic Villa, Amazing Views and Lots of Olives!

I stayed at this Villa with 2 female friends in October 2015 and had a fantastic time! We were greeted by the landord Stamatis on route to the property where he showed us around and explained the use of all the facilities - he'd also given us some lovely…
I stayed at this Villa with 2 female friends in October 2015 and had a fantastic time! We were greeted by the landord Stamatis on route to the property where he showed us around and explained the use of all the facilities - he'd also given us some lovely olive oils and Raki and a new coffee machine which was very nice. The setting is stunning with olive groves surrounding the property. We weren't sure what to expect weather wise, but the days were a balmy 25 odd degrees and the evenings did require a cardigan, but still very pleasant! We turned the air con units to the heat setting which worked perfectly for some extra evening heat if needed. As three female travellers wanting a week of relaxation, the villa was secluded enough to have that 'get away from it all' feel, but I'd definitely recommend car hire as the local supermarket is a 5-7 minute drive away. The layout of the property is across 3 floors with the lower ground floor used mainly for daytime lounging round the pool and refreshments as there is a mini kitchen and bathroom there (very useful for a drinks top up!). It took a day or so to get use to the spiral stairs from the ground to the upper floors (but you can use the outside stairs to get from ground to first floor). I think our legs were exercised pretty well that first day, but as we were only three people, we probably did much more running up and down than was needed We certainly learned by the 2nd day where we chilled during the day and stayed in the upper floors during the evening! Stairs were a bit wobbly but sound, so again we mentioned this to the landlord who will make sure its addressed The sauna was fantastic and worked really well... The pool is unheated and was fine when it got really warm...it wouldn't be a problem in the height of summer at all. ;) WiFi was okay, bit sketchy at times and on a pre-paid card, so if you stream videos (like we did) you may find it finishes soon but the landlord did top us up when needed. I would recommend a drive to the Elafonisi beach (stunning!) as well as Balan and Falassarna beaches, which are all sandy with crystal clear waters! A must see! Plus the drive was beautiful, both across the mainland and in the mountains. We didnt venture much into the local town which was a little quite due to the time of year, but do get into Chania town and harbour where you can find the odd backroad greek preserved historical sites and the famous lighthouse...not to mention numbers cafes, bars and clubs. Overall we had a wonderful time in this villa...waking up to sea views one side and olive grove/hillside views the other was amazing!! Stamatis was very helpful (I called him daily with questions! haha) and happy to help. Will certainly be back. :)

Nice in Crete

The villa was good, clean and tidy and had everything except a toaster. The surroundings were beautiful and clean. I would recommend Theocharis Villa to everyone.

Amazing - would definetly recommend!

The place is actually nicer than in the pictures. Nice villa and the indoor pool is fantqastic. The owner is very helpful and was every minute here to help us when we need it.

Beautiful place, can't recommend it enough!!!

Wonderful location with very pretty garden and private pool. Friendly and attentive staff, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with excellent taverna near the villa. Immediately felt at home.

Quiet location about 2km from the beach, nice clean big rooms, great pool area and a very nice pool! Gentle and helpful manager, nice area for kids at the garden also located near the Tavronitis market area. Great place to use it as a base to explore…
