Η Villa Almyrida Sands Chania είναι μια πέτρινη βίλα που χρονολογείται από τον 19ο αιώνα και έχει ανακαινιστεί πλήρως σύμφωνα με τα παραδοσιακά πρότυπα. Στο παρελθόν, ήταν το σπίτι του οινοποιού του χωριού, και έτσι το παλιό πατητήρι ανακαινίστηκε επίσης.

Η βίλα μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει έως και 7 άτομα. Αποτελείται από 3 υπνοδωμάτια, το καθένα με δικό του μπάνιο και βεράντα. Δύο από τα υπνοδωμάτια έχουν θέα στη θάλασσα. Μια μεγάλη κουζίνα που είναι ανοιχτή στο σαλόνι θα σας συνοδεύει σε όλα σας τα γεύματα. Μια όμορφη θερμαινόμενη πισίνα, που περιβάλλεται από πλούσια βλάστηση, θα σας επιτρέψει να κολυμπήσετε όλο το χρόνο.

Βρίσκεται σε ιδανική τοποθεσία στην καρδιά του Ξηροστερνίου και μόλις 8 λεπτά από το ψαροχώρι της Αλμυρίδας και τις αμμώδεις παραλίες του. Το Ξηροστέρνι αποτελείται από παλιά παραδοσιακά σπίτια με μαγευτική θέα στον κόλπο της Σούδας και στα Λευκά Όρη. Απέχει μόλις 2 χλμ από τον Βάμο, 9 χλμ από τις Καλύβες και 6 χλμ από την παραλία της Αλμυρίδας. Στο κοντινό χωριό Γαβαλοχώρι, 3χλμ. μακριά, οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να επισκεφθούν ένα παραδοσιακό κρητικό εργαστήριο κεντήματος και ένα λαογραφικό μουσείο.

Το Ξηροστέρνι είναι γνωστό για το μουσικό του φεστιβάλ που πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο στις 5 Αυγούστου. Το χωριό ήταν παλαιότερα γνωστό ως «Viola» - ένα όμορφο τοπικό λουλούδι. Το νέο όνομα για τη βίλα είναι ένας συνδυασμός δύο ελληνικών λέξεων που σημαίνουν «ξηρή δεξαμενή» ή «ξηρό πηγάδι». Μπορείτε να θαυμάσετε στον κήπο μια τέλεια ανακαινισμένη στέρνα. Ιδανικό μέρος για ανθρώπους που αγαπούν την Κρήτη, την Ελλάδα, τα φυτά, τη θάλασσα και τη φύση. Μας αρέσει να μοιραζόμαστε το πάθος μας για αυτό το όμορφο νησί και θα σας βοηθήσουμε να απολαύσετε τις διακοπές σας εδώ και να το ανακαλύψετε από μια διαφορετική θέα.

The homemade bread and jams we found for breakfast were a big treat. It is also close to Almyrida beach and is a good base to see the most famous beaches of Crete.

We were excited. The house has been lovingly restored and equipped completly. We were allowed as a family with 2 children 19 days to spend there and have felt very comfortable. The rooms are very individually designed, the beds very comfortable. The air conditioning helped us well in the hot days. The nice outside area invites you to linger. The pool, which is ideal for refreshment, was cleaned every two days by Yannis. We gladly made use of the grill. Within walking distance there is everything for everyday needs in a Mini market. However, a car is essential. It is a nice quiet privat place from there you can reach many destinations in crete. Almyrida with nice restaurantes directly at the sea can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Our sincere thanks go to Yannis and Cecile for the very warm care during our time. Thank you for your fantastic homemade orange jam and the olive oil. We are missing your bread in the morning, your helpful recommendations and the cheerful conversations Yannis! The time in the stone villa will remain in very good memory. We could let ourselves drift and were wonderfully decelerated. Many thanks for that!

incredibly well designed house with modern furnishings, very well equipped with all necessities, lovely outdoor space, grill, and pool. there were nooks for reading, beds for Sun bathing, and complete privacy. the house is situated in a small traditional village strategically located between various centers in Crete so you can relax into village life, head to the most gorgeous beaches in the world, or visit Chania and Rethymno. the owners brought us fresh bread and fruit and were so welcoming and helpful. access was super easy and we had the time of our life! highly recommend.

This was the most perfect vacation rental we have ever stayed in.

It had everything you needed but still felt clean and minimalist. Yannis was wonderful- he met us, explained everything, came back with bread and jam the first morning, and brought our kids a giant bucket of Playmobile treasures that kept them occupied…

They provided a crib and high chair for our family we were staying with and their baby. The town is just a couple of houses but the one tavern and one minimart are incredible. You are so close to the beach and other destinations in Crete, but a car is essential. We loved the recommendations the hosts provided for restaurants and activities. We stayed with our two kids and our brother in law with his wife and baby, so 7 total. There was plenty of room and the yard was incredible. If we are ever back in Crete, we would absolutely stay here again.

De location is very central, it’s easy to drive to villages around the area or to Chania City. The outside area is stunning, with a big swimmingpool and nice places to lay down around to pool. The hosts Yannis and Cecile are so Friendly and help you out if you need to know something. The Villa is renovated but still in the Old Greek style, it’s a beautiful house. Everything is super clean and in the kitchen you’ll find everything you’ll need. Thanks for the amazing stay, we come back for sure!

Es bietet viele Ecken zum Verweilen. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, die Schlafzimmer sind gross und hell. Es gibt eine Terrasse mit Grill und grossem Tisch, moderne Liegen mit einem sehr schönen Pool. Alles war sehr sauber. Es wurde sogar einmal gereinigt.

Nous y avons trouvé un confort expetionnzl, notre intimité grâce aux 3 chambres avec salles de bains et une piscine chauffée se qui est bien agréable en mars!! Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse infinie. Discrets mais présents ils étaient toujours disponibles pour nous. Et que dire des confitures maison de Yannis?! Un régal! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir avec nos enfants cette fois!! Merci pour tout.
