Villa Almyrida Sands Chania es una villa de piedra que data del siglo XIX y que ha sido completamente restaurada siguiendo los estándares tradicionales. Antiguamente fue la casa del bodeguero del pueblo, por lo que también se rehabilitó el antiguo lagar.

La villa puede alojar hasta 7 personas. Consta de 3 dormitorios, cada uno con su baño y terraza. Dos de los dormitorios tienen vista al mar. Una gran cocina abierta al salón le acompañará en todas sus comidas. Una hermosa piscina climatizada, rodeada de una frondosa vegetación te permitirá nadar durante todo el año.

Tiene una ubicación ideal en el corazón de Xirosterni ya solo 8 minutos del pueblo pesquero de Almyrida y sus playas de arena. Xirosterni se compone de antiguas casas tradicionales con magníficas vistas de la Bahía de Souda y las Montañas Blancas. Está a solo 2 km de Vamos, a 9 km de Kalyves ya 6 km de la playa de Almyrida. En el cercano pueblo de Gavalochori, a 3 km, los huéspedes pueden visitar un taller de bordado tradicional cretense y un museo de folclore.

Xirosterni es conocido por su festival de música que se lleva a cabo todos los años el 5 de agosto. El pueblo se conocía anteriormente como 'Viola', una bonita flor local. We were excited. The house has been lovingly restored and equipped completly. We were allowed as a family with 2 children 19 days to spend there and have felt very comfortable. The rooms are very individually designed, the beds very comfortable. The air conditioning helped us well in the hot days. The nice outside area invites you to linger. The pool, which is ideal for refreshment, was cleaned every two days by Yannis. We gladly made use of the grill. Within walking distance there is everything for everyday needs in a Mini market. However, a car is essential. It is a nice quiet privat place from there you can reach many destinations in crete. Almyrida with nice restaurantes directly at the sea can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Our sincere thanks go to Yannis and Cecile for the very warm care during our time. Thank you for your fantastic homemade orange jam and the olive oil. We are missing your bread in the morning, your helpful recommendations and the cheerful conversations Yannis! The time in the stone villa will remain in very good memory. We could let ourselves drift and were wonderfully decelerated. Many thanks for that!

incredibly well designed house with modern furnishings, very well equipped with all necessities, lovely outdoor space, grill, and pool. there were nooks for reading, beds for Sun bathing, and complete privacy. the house is situated in a small traditional village strategically located between various centers in Crete so you can relax into village life, head to the most gorgeous beaches in the world, or visit Chania and Rethymno. the owners brought us fresh bread and fruit and were so welcoming and helpful. access was super easy and we had the time of our life! highly recommend.

This was the most perfect vacation rental we have ever stayed in.

It had everything you needed but still felt clean and minimalist. Yannis was wonderful- he met us, explained everything, came back with bread and jam the first morning, and brought our kids a giant bucket of Playmobile treasures that kept them occupied…

They provided a crib and high chair for our family we were staying with and their baby. The town is just a couple of houses but the one tavern and one minimart are incredible. You are so close to the beach and other destinations in Crete, but a car is essential. We loved the recommendations the hosts provided for restaurants and activities. We stayed with our two kids and our brother in law with his wife and baby, so 7 total. There was plenty of room and the yard was incredible. If we are ever back in Crete, we would absolutely stay here again.

De location is very central, it’s easy to drive to villages around the area or to Chania City. The outside area is stunning, with a big swimmingpool and nice places to lay down around to pool. The hosts Yannis and Cecile are so Friendly and help you out if you need to know something. The Villa is renovated but still in the Old Greek style, it’s a beautiful house. Everything is super clean and in the kitchen you’ll find everything you’ll need. Thanks for the amazing stay, we come back for sure!

Es gibt eine Terrasse mit Grill und grossem Tisch, moderne Liegen mit einem sehr schönen Pool. Alles war sehr sauber. Es wurde sogar einmal gereinigt.

Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse infinie. Discrets mais présents ils étaient toujours disponibles pour nous. Et que dire des confitures maison de Yannis?! Un régal!
