Very well maintained villa with amazing ocean views. The house was spotless. The kitchen is big and fully stocked. We loved the living room with its huge windows overlooking the ocean — perfect for enjoying the view even when it was chilly outside…
Very well maintained villa with amazing ocean views. The house was spotless. The kitchen is big and fully stocked. We loved the living room with its huge windows overlooking the ocean — perfect for enjoying the view even when it was chilly outside.Three of the four bedrooms have sea views and all have terraces (this wasn’t clear from the pictures, so this was a nice surprise). One room is in the basement, but it’s really nice and didn’t bother us but it’s still good to know.Great location for day trips to the south and west, and the nearby village has plenty of supermarkets and bakeries. Owner was super quick to respond before our stay, and a big shout-out to the manager who looked after us wonderfully the whole time — so proactive ans friendly!Only small suggestion: it would be great to have beach towels provided in addition to the pool towels.Overall, we (2 families with kids) absolutely loved our stay and can fully recommend it.

We had a wonderful holiday staying in this beautiful villa. Roula and her family could not have been warmer and more welcoming. The villa itself was wonderfully well appointed. The accommodation suited our family of 5 perfectly, but would equally well suit several couples staying as all of the rooms were ensuite. The pool and outside dining area were perfect and we spent many hours lazing and eating outside. Roula even brought us some delicious snacks which she had made from the garden produce. There was lots to explore in the surrounding area and again the owner was very helpful with arranging excursions and activities. We would need another visit to see all of the places we planned to. Would we recommend this villa? Without hesitation and definitely plan to return!!

The most wonderful villa we have ever stayed in! We stayed at this villa 11 nights end of May/ early June and had a really enjoyable stay, many thanks to this stunning villa with all its lovely qualities and attention to detail. The hospitality we received from Roula, Manolis and Gregory exceeded expectations. The villa was spotless upon arrival - as well as after the cleaning and laundry service twice a week during our stay. We were welcomed with a hamper of delicious homemade treats and local teas. The villa's high qualities are sustained throughout - including the beautiful, bright interior decoration, the amenities, storage, the lovely terraces, the beautiful and well-kept garden and excellent swimming pool. The view from every window and terrace is stunning. We loved collecting fresh fruit and veg from the garden and made good use of the barbecue! We travelled with small kids and the villa was very suitable for our needs. The pool was excellent with its separated children's area, wide steps and shades. The children also adored the garden toys! The location was nice, the village of Kolymbari is charming and friendly, we had some excellent meals there from a list of places recommended by Roula. Our daily trips to the bakery and supermarket were conveniently just a couple of minutes drive away. There is a lot to do in the local area and some stunning beaches and landscapes in Western Crete! We only wish we could have stayed longer to discover more and enjoy the luxury of the villa, it was certainly not easy to leave and we can't wait to return!

To classify this as a luxury villa is almost an understatement. Yes it is beautifully and comfortablely furnished and the view is exquisite. The outdoor living spaces are amazing and afford areas for private relaxation or group fun. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor dining area. The villa has a wine cellar, which we made good use of, and an impressive gym, which we were to tired to take advantage of following days of hiking and swimming. I could go on but most important is the service and kindness provided by Roula, the owner and manager. Take advantage of a traditional dinner cooked and delivered to the villa.
