What a find for our family holiday. Lina was there to greet us, she explained things and gave us suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. There was a lovely welcome pack, and lovely cleaners also bought us a tasty local treat mid week. Villa Kalisti is so well appointed and extremely clean. The pool was wonderful for our 3 little ones to enjoy, the depth was such they could stand and play at one end. We walked into the town and enjoyed the local restaurants, cafes, shops and sandy beach. We hired cars to visit places further a field Cannot recommend it enough.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir waren Ende Oktober zu elft auf Kreta und hatten beide Villen gemietet. Als Begrüßung warteten zwei Obstkörbe, einige kleine lokale Spezialitäten, sowie weitere Lebensmittel auf uns; da wir sehr spät angereist sind haben wir uns umso mehr darüber gefreut! Die Villen sind bestens ausgestattet, egal ob Luftmatratzen, Insektenspray, Grillzubehör, Küchenutensilien - es war alles vorhanden! Das Areal war wunderschön, umgeben von Olivenbäumen kann man morgens wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge, sowie Abends traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge auf einer der oberen Terrassen beobachten. Es gab ausreichend Liegen am Pool für uns alle, Sonnenschirme, eine tolle Outdoor Küche und Parkplätze für drei Autos. Die Kommunikation funktionierte einwandfrei. Wir würden die Villen sofort wieder buchen! Viele Danke und liebe Grüße

Villa Kallisti was amazing for 12 of us. In walkable distance to Stalos which has plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a short (25 minute) bus ride or a taxi to Chania if you want to explore the town with more things to do. The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly and we really appreciated the things they left for us. The villa itself is very modern, great aircon and clean. Pool is a great size and the bbq table area is amazing for large groups. Price was extremely reasonable and we can’t recommend this place enough for a large group. I can’t give any negative feedback because there was none. Thanks a lot for making our holiday great!

We were celebrating 3 x 60th birthdays they bought all of them a bottle of wine and a birthday cake each they are so kind nothing is a problem for them to help you. Wir waren für 10 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. 6 Erwachsene und 4 Kleinkinder. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen. Wir waren von der ersten Sekunde an begeistert, denn die Villas und das Grundstück sind noch so viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Außenbereich ist einfach toll. Ein toller Pool, auch für Kinder, genügend Liegen, eine Outdoor Küche mit Grill, Kühlschrank und Waschbecken. Eine große Rasenfläche, viele Sonnenschirme und ein Spielbereich für die Kinder. Die Schlafzimmer haben alle einen Zugang zu einem Balkon oder Dachterrasse mit tollen Blick in die Natur und mit Meerblick. Die Ausstattung der Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Villa ist sehr ruhig gelegen, aber man kann Strand, Restaurants und Supermärkte in kürze zu Fuß erreichen. Die Besitzerin der Villa war sehr herzlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We loved to eat in the outside areas and enjoy the beautiful views. It was super quite and private but still quite close to some shops, restaurants and local stores. Lina was a great host and always available for any problems that came up. We felt super welcome and loved everything about our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kalisti for 11 days at the end of September with our whole family, 11 adults and one five months old baby. We were celebrating a 60-year birthday of the father. The two houses are gorgeous and all facilities are brandnew and beautiful, just perfect. All the rooms are comparable so it doesn’t matter which room you choose, they all have beautiful views and are cozy. We enjoyed the pool area with enough sun benches for everyone and had a blast at the ping pong table, conveniently located in the shade. The outdoor kitchen and dining area were the cherry on top, we had fantastic family meals there. Several outdoor seating areas to enjoy your morning coffee. The place was a great option when traveling with small children, baby cot and high chair provided. As we arrived we were pleasantly greeted by Lena and Evy who are so welcoming and warm. They were so thoughtful to bring freshly hatched eggs, fresh vegetables and fruits from their parents’ farm. The location was perfect. Away from the busy areas and we felt like we were in the country but just a short walk to nearby restaurants and beaches and only a few minutes’ drive to Chania. We had great expectations but I can tell that Villa Kallisti surprised us positively. Although the Villa is clearly designed for adult use, it suited perfectly our party travelling with four small kids. The distance to the beach, supermarkets and tavernas was acceptable, but we would not have survived without the two additional karodsaki that the owners graciously provided for us. We appreciated the 'welcome food' in the fridge and requested extra water. The service was very friendly and all our requests were met.

We spent a week here with 6 adults and 4 kids between 1 and 5 to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday. The villa was absolutely fantastic - super well equipped including a play house and swings for the little ones and a pool that included a lower end for the kids to play in. Beach, supermarket and restaurants were a short 10-min walk away and we picked up fresh bread and croissants from the bakery every morning. The views are also great as the villa is on a hill. The host was super helpful and helped also with our special needs with the kids. I warmly recommend this both for adult groups as well as families with kids.

Lina was an amazing friendly host, the fridge was allready packed with the essintials like, water, wine, milk, juce, coffee... incredible. I have not seen a holiday house equiped like this! And whenever we had a question - we could call and got great answers/ help imediatly. Like when the pool got dirty, we had someone helping halve an hour later! And everything was cleaned// changed midweek- even the bed linen. Fantastic. We felt welcomed and indulged and could relax perfectly.

Wow me & my family have just spent an amazing 2 weeks in these stunning. The owners of the villa really delivered we were met with a smiley face from Lina who showed us around. They made sure we had enough food & drink in so that we did not need a full shop straight away! Lina’s mum throughout the 2 weeks brought us fruit and vegetables from their garden. The villas were spacious and very well equipped the beds are so comfy. The outside area is gorgeous with plenty of space around the pool for everyone, the bbq area is great for night time bbq’s with everything you need from a sink to a fridge! I honestly could go on and on, if you get a chance book these villas I guarantee you will not be disappointed! We can not wait to come back. Thank you for everything.

Having a car is recommended for exploring alongside the coastal line and visiting larger shops. However, not absoute necessity, as the service of the reception was extremely helpful for reserving minivans, taxis, etc. I can warmly recommend Villa Kallisti, Lina and all the very friendly staff to anyone looking for a high quality, relaxed holiday at a wonderful location! Thank you Lina and your whole family for a wonderful stay! Never have we tasted so fresh and juicy lemons as the ones from your grandfather and mother's gardens!

Our group rented both villas for a 12 day stay and everything about this property is 10 / 10. The villas are exactly as shown in the pictures. The outdoor grounds are beautiful with a large pool area and amazing BBQ and sitting area that is equipped with a sink and fridge. The villas are fully equipped, exceptionally clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. Lina was so friendly and kind and was there to greet us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived the kitchen was stocked with drinks and snacks that was very much appreciated after a long travel day. Throughout our stay Lina’s lovely family would bring us fresh vegetables from their garden and one evening they brought us a plate of warm, homemade spinach pies that were absolutely delicious! The villa is in a quiet location and within a short walk to the beach, small shops, and restaurants. Chania is a 15-minute drive away. Don’t hesitate to book this villa - we would definitely stay here again!

10 / 10 My family and I, eight of us in total, recently hired Villa Kalisti (both villas) for a week in the sun to celebrate a special birthday year for my wife and I. From the moment we arrived at Villa Kalisti we knew this was going to be a perfect holiday. On arrival Lina and her family were onsite to greet us, to show us around the villas and explain everything we needed to know. We were delighted at the level of hospitality that greeted us, not just personally from Lina and her family, but in respect of the generous welcome pack available to us on arrival, there was milk, bread, wine, coffee, oils, honey, snacks, more than enough to keep us going to the first supermarket shop. Lina and her family really care about their customers and making sure the holiday starts in the best way possible. The properties themselves are just perfect, spacious, modern, comfortable, well equipped and appointed, exceptionally clean, and every facility and requirement is catered for. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the bathrooms luxurious, the kitchens and utility rooms well equipped, and the lounges very cool and relaxing. On both first and upper levels the properties have comfortable outside seating areas and facilities for group gatherings or relaxing quiet moments. The grounds are also exceptionally well appointed with spacious patios and lawns, a beautiful pool with plentiful loungers, comfortable seating and parasols, a superb outside cooking and dining area with barbeque, fridge, sink, power and lighting, there is a table tennis table and children’s play area for the little ones, and at night this is all lit up to create the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The location of Villa Kalisti is perfect, it’s in a quiet location and there are superb views from the upper levels into the distance towards the mountains and coast. It’s just a 10 minute walk down to the town of Stalos with its many shops, beach side restaurants and bars, and a great beach. A short walk further is Plantanias which has more places to visit with plentiful shops and tavernas. Chania itself is a 20 minute drive away and this is a lively ancient town that has a great atmosphere both day and night. During our week we were given the option of mid-week cleaning and fresh towels, and Lina and her family would call by to bring us some of the fresh produce they grow themselves. On our 3rd day we were also brought a birthday cake which had been made for us by our hosts. Great hospitality was offered to us throughout the week in many ways, I don’t think Lina and her family could have made us anymore welcome. This holiday gave us everything we needed, location, accommodation, hospitality, relaxation, fun and the sense that we just couldn’t have made a better choice of where to stay. Thank you to Lina and her family for making our holiday one to remember for a long time, we will certainly be recommending Villa Kalisti to others who are looking for the perfect holiday experience in Crete. We took both villas for a large family get together and it was utterly perfect, in every way. The 2 houses are beautifully designed, open, airy yet homely and modern, with literally every possible facility. Beds and linen are good quality and comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean - they even offered a mid-week clean with fresh towels. Outside, the garden, dining, BBQ and pool are serene and private, surrounded by fields of olive, lemon and grape, with only the sound of birds and cockerels in the distance. To one side you look down to the small town of Stalos, a 10 minute walk to small shops, tavernas and the beach. To the south you look up over the olive groves up to the White Mountains, where visits to ancient ruins, wonderful family run tavernas, organic olive farms, and further, to the spectacular beach of Balos kept the family busy. Chania is a 15 minute drive (or taxi ride), with plenty of parking so you can pop in for dinner, shopping or walks around the ancient town. And the best bit of all, Lina and her lovely family are always on hand in case you need any help or advice, or to give you fresh produce from their garden or kitchen. What a find for our family holiday. Lina was there to greet us, she explained things and gave us suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. There was a lovely welcome pack, and lovely cleaners also bought us a tasty local treat mid week. Villa Kalisti is so well appointed and extremely clean. What a find for our family holiday. Lina was there to greet us, she explained things and gave us suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. There was a lovely welcome pack, and lovely cleaners also bought us a tasty local treat mid week. Villa Kalisti is so well appointed and extremely clean. The pool was wonderful for our 3 little ones to enjoy, the depth was such they could stand and play at one end. We walked into the town and enjoyed the local restaurants, cafes, shops and sandy beach. We hired cars to visit places further a field Cannot recommend it enough.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir waren Ende Oktober zu elft auf Kreta und hatten beide Villen gemietet. Als Begrüßung warteten zwei Obstkörbe, einige kleine lokale Spezialitäten, sowie weitere Lebensmittel auf uns; da wir sehr spät angereist sind haben wir uns umso mehr darüber gefreut! Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir waren Ende Oktober zu elft auf Kreta und hatten beide Villen gemietet. Als Begrüßung warteten zwei Obstkörbe, einige kleine lokale Spezialitäten, sowie weitere Lebensmittel auf uns; da wir sehr spät angereist sind haben wir uns umso mehr darüber gefreut! Die Villen sind bestens ausgestattet, egal ob Luftmatratzen, Insektenspray, Grillzubehör, Küchenutensilien - es war alles vorhanden! Das Areal war wunderschön, umgeben von Olivenbäumen kann man morgens wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge, sowie Abends traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge auf einer der oberen Terrassen beobachten. Es gab ausreichend Liegen am Pool für uns alle, Sonnenschirme, eine tolle Outdoor Küche und Parkplätze für drei Autos. Die Kommunikation funktionierte einwandfrei. Wir würden die Villen sofort wieder buchen! Viele Danke und liebe Grüße
