This villa is a beautiful place to stay, perfect for three couples, or six close friends to stay. All the equipment needed to cook within, plenty of entertaining and outdoor space. The driveway is very steep and I would recommend a car to get to the town, otherwise it’s a 15 minute walk, on the way back being uphill!!The best way to describe where it is located, is opposite the petrol station, to help people find it!Would definitely reccomend to others looking for somewhere to stay! The local village has plenty of shops and restaurants and a few bars. Perfect for a non touristy trip away.

Excellent villa, excellent facilities, spotlessly clean, cleaner came midweek and new bedding and towels. Host was superb and could not do enough. Basic groceries provided on arrival as well as a plate of locally produced pastries plus a bottle of wine…
Excellent villa, excellent facilities, spotlessly clean, cleaner came midweek and new bedding and towels. Host was superb and could not do enough. Basic groceries provided on arrival as well as a plate of locally produced pastries plus a bottle of wine and some Raki! Kitchen and bathrooms fantastic and the views were incredible. WiFi excellent and TV has Netflix etc built in. Driveway Is very steep - be careful if you have a small engine hire car as it will struggle to get to the top when fullOf luggage and passengers ;)Small mini-markets locally with essential items. Fantastic large supermarket on outskirts of Heraklion.

A car is necessary, the roads aren’t very safe to walk on and it is very steep. To get to a supermarket and beach or a variety of restaurants, you need to drive. Maybe a pack of information would be helpful. We loved the pool and outside eating areas! Incredible views, day and night!

It’s a little bit remote, but there’s a decent supermarket within walking distance, and the restaurant George which is very close is a friendly, delicious and cheap place to grab dinner or lunch.

The villa is beautiful and just as stunning as in the pictures. It has all amenities you could wish for, including rolling shutter blinds and mosquito nets in all bedrooms. As we arrived on a weekend, Theodoulos and his wife even prepared some basic food and drinks for us in the fridge. You definitely need a car to reach the place and get around, but the next village and beaches are only 5min away. We’d definitely book this place again for our next visit.

Amazing stay, the villa was lovely and very spacious

The hosts were lovely. After the first clean we came back to lots of chocolates and freshly made biscuits for the children. I would recommend a car as it is a further walk than we thought to the beach/shops. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a lovely say here and were very lucky to have 27+ degree weather through our stay. Villa was lovely and everything was as described and as expected, a proper treat for me and my friends on our first abroad holiday. Pool was lovely and property was clean throughout , would highly recommend! We made the mistake of locking ourselves out of the upstairs room, so just a note for future guests that if you lock the upstairs room from the outside make sure you have the key! Hosts were very responsive and were out to help up asap, and also helped up book a taxi for later than day. Very helpful throughout!Also, the driveway is STEEP, I managed it every time, just worth keeping in mind if you have a little car!

Beautiful place that is very private

The villa was a great place to start and end our day. We were there on the back end of the off-season, but we found plenty of things to do around Crete.

A very cleverly designed architect's house, beautifully situated on the hillside above Agia Pelagia. We liked the layout between living/cooking/sleeping and the many balconies, loggias and sheltered seating areas. There is a suitable place for every time of day to sit sheltered and enjoy the great view of the sea.We were there late in the year - not a pleasant time to barbecue outside in the evening. But if you enjoy it: there is an outdoor kitchen with sink, grill station and an extra pizza oven!Everything was very clean, and we were surprised that after 3 days someone came to clean the kitchen and bathrooms and change the towels. Thanks for that!There is a small supermarket right up the hill - a 2 min drive from the house. And they are also open out of season!

We highly recommend this house!

Our stay at the villa went smoothly. We were greeted at our arrival with a basket of fruit, and a fridge full of food. The house is large, with 3 bedrooms in total including one upstairs, allowing you to keep privacy.
