Petalida Villa im Ideales Resort Kefalonia:

Die Petalida Villa ist in das Erdgeschoss und ein Loft aufgeteilt. Der Eingang der Villa führt zu einem offenen Küchen-Essbereich, dem Wohnzimmer und einem Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und Einbauschrank. Nur ein paar Stufen vom Erdgeschoss entfernt befindet sich ein zweites Schlafzimmer auf dem Dachboden mit eigenem Bad. Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss und der Wohn-Sitzbereich führen beide zum Garten und zum Poolbereich mit Sonnenliegen. Es gibt einen schattigen Bereich mit einer Pergola mit einem Essbereich im Freien.

Beautiful villas in stunning location in unspoilt surroundings..

We had the pleasure of staying in the gorgeous Villa Petalida (2 bedroom villa with private pool) at the Ideales resort in Kefalonia. It is without doubt one of the best self catering holidays we have ever had with the personal attention of the staff…
We had the pleasure of staying in the gorgeous Villa Petalida (2 bedroom villa with private pool) at the Ideales resort in Kefalonia. It is without doubt one of the best self catering holidays we have ever had with the personal attention of the staff second to none! The villa was on a little hill with uninterrupted views of the countryside and sea, with the local beach about 5-10 mins drive and Argostoli the main town about 15 mins away. The welcome pack was very informative and helpful as it told us of where the best places to go. There was also always someone around who would come to the villa if there was any issue. I would say the location, house quality, pool, garden and furnishings were of a very high standard especially considering the very reasonable price charged. Moreover the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I ordered an item from amazon which they collected for me and They organised a hairdresser, masseuse appointments at the villa for us and also returned a gift we had inadvertently left at the villa all the way to England! I couldn’t praise the staff any higher except to say it was an exceptional holiday made even more special because of the people looking after us.. I would say it’s the best self catering holiday I have had as I can remember! For a natural, eco friendly, safe and beautiful vacation, For a young family or a couple or friends, I would highly recommend the Ideales resort on Kefalonia!

The people who look after the villa were amazing, the grounds beautiful and the pool was so clean and perfectly located for keeping an eye on the kids swimming. The location was excellent, the local beaches were really great and local restaurants were all within easy reach. The views from the villa were exceptional - both the mountains and the sea view. The people at Ideales Resorts were so friendly - nothing was too much trouble and they were always happy to help no matter what the topic. The villa and the garden was kept immaculately clean the entire stay. We will definitely be back - what a wonderful place to stay.

First but definitely not last visit to Ideales Resort

My wife & I stayed at the Ideales Resort in July this year along with my two son’s ages 17 & 22 & my eldest son’s girlfriend. We booked a 3 bed villa for one week. I use Trip Advisor regularly when booking our holidays, so have to say my expectation…
My wife & I stayed at the Ideales Resort in July this year along with my two son’s ages 17 & 22 & my eldest son’s girlfriend. We booked a 3 bed villa for one week. I use Trip Advisor regularly when booking our holidays, so have to say my expectation was high when choosing Ideales Resort given its 5 star rating. We were not disappointed as the villa was clean, spacious & the views across the Ionian Sea to Zante just stunning. Outside the villa had a really good size pool, which was cleaned every day, a stone table under a canopy which was great for dining, a comfortable lounge set & a BBQ plus 6 sunbeds, so was perfect for relaxing both in the day time & evening. Yes you need a car as it’s in quite a remote location, but that’s what we were looking for, & Trapezaki beach was a 5 minute drive away. We visited many of the surrounding beaches plus had a day Kayaking which was fantastic, & a great way to see the island from the sea. My only one word of advice would be to have more information in the villa on surrounding tavernas, supermarkets, etc as the pack that was provided focuses mainly on the major tourist spots on the island, but if we had any questions Lola was always on hand to give advice & guidance To be honest the villa was so nice we didn’t venture out as much as we planned, so only really explored the South of Kefalonia, but that means we need to come back to see the rest of the island in the near future, which we will definitely do. Wonderful!

This was our first holiday in Kefalonia and we couldn't have picked a better villa or location - it was perfect. We booked through Thomas Cook and from start to finish we were very impressed. We stayed in Villa Petalida, a gorgeous two bedroomed villa with a lovely open plan living/kitchen area (kitchen had everything you might need) and a big downstairs double bedroom (with a super kingsize bed - which was a bit on the firm side!) and a bathroom. Upstairs was the other bedroom ( a twin), another bathroom in which was also the washing machine. The cleaners came in every other day to change the sheets/towels etc and the pool was also maintained to a high standard every few days (the pool was fabulous). The view was spectacular, to the south you had the ocean view across to the island of Zakynthos and to the east and north you could see the island coast and Mount Aenos - magical!!! We were very impressed with the landscaping and the use of plants and trees as these added to the surroundings and also made the villa very private. The location was excellent as it was within walking distance for a couple of tavernas and a mini market if you couldn't be bothered driving but also convenient for the main roads. All in all, a fabulous villa and one we would highly recommend.

We booked 5 of these villas for us and our guests to stay in when we married in Kefalonia in May. The pictures on their website are gorgeous but even they really don't do them enough justice - they are beautiful inside and out. Each villa has it's own pool and each with a fantasic view. The villas are clean, spacious + modern. We were a group of 27 people and everyone loved them - they were blown away by the views and the interiors. The villas were very well looked after during our stay by cleaners and gardeners. If you want to see more of the island a car is a must although the villas are a 20min walk to Trapezaki beach (beautiful + sandy) and 5min walk to the nearest restaurants + shop. We've visited a lot of countries and a lot of Greek islands - Kefalonia is one of the prettiest and uncommercial we have been too. I would highly recommend. We're looking forward to coming back !

The location was excellent, the local beaches were really great and local restaurants were all within easy reach. The views from the villa were exceptional - both the mountains and the sea view. The people at Ideales Resorts were so friendly - nothing was too much trouble and they were always happy to help no matter what the topic. The villa and the garden was kept immaculately clean the entire stay. We will definitely be back - what a wonderful place to stay.
