Η Villa Penelope Kefalonia βρίσκεται στο νότιο τμήμα του νησιού της Κεφαλονιάς, στο χωριό Πλατιές, πάνω από την παραλία, σε ιδανική τοποθεσία για ένα χαλαρωτικό καταφύγιο και για να εξερευνήσετε την περιοχή. Η νεόδμητη διώροφη βίλα Penelope είναι 100 τμ, πλήρως επιπλωμένη και διακοσμημένη με χειροποίητα αγγεία και πίνακες ζωγραφικής.

Το ισόγειο προσφέρει έναν φιλόξενο και οικείο εσωτερικό. Υπάρχει ένα άνετο, κλιματιζόμενο σαλόνι με τζάκι και δύο καναπέδες, μια ενιαία τραπεζαρία με ένα ξύλινο εξαθέσιο τραπέζι και μια πλήρως εντοιχισμένη και παραδοσιακά διακοσμημένη κουζίνα. Υπάρχει επίσης ένα WC με πλυντήριο ρούχων.

Μπροστά στο ισόγειο, υπάρχει μια ευρύχωρη βεράντα με θέα στην ιδιωτική πισίνα. Η βεράντα με το καφασωτό προσφέρει τραπέζια και καναπέδες προσφέροντας στιγμές χαλάρωσης στους επισκέπτες μας.

Στον πρώτο όροφο, υπάρχουν δύο πλήρως κλιματιζόμενα υπνοδωμάτια με ξεχωριστά μπαλκόνια, το καθένα εξοπλισμένο με τραπέζια και σεντόνια που προσφέρουν εκπληκτική θέα στον χώρο της πισίνας και στο Ιόνιο Πέλαγος. Το κύριο υπνοδωμάτιο είναι διακοσμημένο με γούστο και διαθέτει ένα μεγάλο διπλό κρεβάτι από χάλυβα και ένα εσωτερικό μπάνιο που περιλαμβάνει ντους με υδρομασάζ. Το δεύτερο υπνοδωμάτιο, με δύο μονά κρεβάτια, διαθέτει μπάνιο με μπανιέρα και υδρομασάζ. Και τα δύο υπνοδωμάτια είναι επίσης επιπλωμένα με δύο κομοδίνα και φωτιστικά, μια συρταριέρα με καθρέφτη και μια εντοιχισμένη ντουλάπα από το δάπεδο μέχρι την οροφή. Η ντουλάπα στο δίκλινο υπνοδωμάτιο περιέχει θυρίδα ασφαλείας.

Ο ευρύχωρος χώρος της ιδιωτικής πισίνας προσφέρει ομπρέλες και ξύλινες ξαπλώστρες για ηλιοθεραπεία και ντους. Η ίδια η πισίνα (4 x 7 m και μέγιστο βάθος 1,70 m) είναι οικολογική και υπερχειλίζει το νερό, διατηρώντας την άψογη και υγιή. Ιδανικό για χαλάρωση και απόλαυση απόλυτης ιδιωτικότητας. Δίπλα στον χώρο της πισίνας, υπάρχει μπάρμπεκιου.

Our first stay at Villa Penelope but we definitely agree with all the previous comments. Outstanding villa, location and host. From being greeted at the airport, a fridge full of local delights, and the warmest of welcomes by our host who’s local knowledge was invaluable, Paraskevas was an excellent host. We have stayed in many villas over the years but never one as delightful as this. Tasteful, top quality furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, it really is a home from home. Wonderful pool, the cleanest I have ever come across during our many travels. Definitely a 5 star villa and a 5 star host! Well done Paraskevas, your hard work is very much appreciated.

Lovely, peaceful villa and pool with amazing views of the sea, coast and mountains in a quiet and private location. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean and maintained by Paraskevas who is a charming, friendly and helpful host. Extensive welcome pack including milk, wine, beer, soft drinks, bread, cheese, salad and more was most welcome. We had a truly relaxing holiday - many thanks Paraskevas.

Perfection at Penelope's

This is our 4th trip to Paraskevas' pair of villas in Platies, and our 3rd stay in Villa Penelope. Me and the D have started calling it our second home - it now feels so familiar! Paraskevas remains a most wonderful host - stocking our fridge with goats cheese, bread, fresh fruit, beers and a punnet of the most delicious strawberries! Now I'm a city-type of traveller, yet the moment we enter Villa Penelope I wish for nothing more than to sit out on the deck (overlooking the pool and the view beyond) with a brand new paperback! We love it THAT much!

Just had a wonderful holiday at Villa Penelope. The views are unparalleled, and are continuosly breathtaking. The villa has everything you need and if not Paraskevas is on hand to help. The consummate professional, Paraskevas is discreet, helpful and the perfect gentleman. His high standards are evident throughout both the property and service delivered. The property is in a very quiet position with the aforementioned great views but also sou day of the sea and wildlife. It's also close enough to Argostoli, the Airport and a multitude of beaches and villages I the South of the Island and also further afield to the northern reaches of Kefalonia. This is our second visit to Villa Penelope and it was even better this time around. Thank you Paraskevas for a fantastic holiday. Matt & Jayne

We’ve had a magnificient stay in Penelope’s villa’s. The house is comfortable, spacious, clean (and house & pool were kept clean during the 9 days we were there), is surrounded by a beautiful garden and hills. It’s magical to wake up with the gentle sound of goat bells... The pool is a big plus and gets sun until the evening, and the bbq place worked great for our outside family dinners. There’s lots of space for children to play. The villa is close to town (a car is advisable though), restaurants, shops and beaches. Antisamos beach is a great choice, but we also liked Paraskevi (both 5 min drive). The owner Nikos was very nice and hospitable to us. Check in was at 15.00 but when we arrived at 11.30 the house was already ready for us to move in, that made our day ! Also we were able to arrange a late check out.

This is a fabulous place from which to explore the island of Kefalonia. The views are stunning and the facilities are of a high standard. Every detail has been carefully considered by the owner, who went out of his way to ensure we had a really great stay. We were met at the airport and chaperoned to the accommodation where we were met with a full fridge of delicious local foods. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable and towels were changed mid week. Our host gave us plenty of tips of where to visit and eat aand was available whenever we needed him to answer any questions we might have. We visited towns of Argostoli and at a fabulous restaurant at the end of the port tasted the famous 'meat pie'. We snorkelled in the sea at Skala and watched the sunset with cocktails at Lorraines on Lourdas beach. The caves at Melissani were well worth a visit and we stopped for lunch at Agia Efimia. But most of all we enjoyed the fabulous view at Villa Penelope and were very sad to leave. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone and would definately return if visiting this part of the island. Happy memories! Thank you Paraskevas.

Beautiful villa, thoughtful owner, great location = perfect holiday

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Villa Penelope. The first thing you notice is the panoramic view across the Ionian Sea to Zakynthos and beyond. The south-west aspect makes it perfect for enjoying an ouzo in the setting sun. Then…
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Villa Penelope. The first thing you notice is the panoramic view across the Ionian Sea to Zakynthos and beyond. The south-west aspect makes it perfect for enjoying an ouzo in the setting sun. Then you notice the silence. The villa is blissfully isolated yet with the reassurance of a couple of other villas nearby containing like-minded people. Every night we slept with the doors wide open (fly mesh in place even though it was hardly needed) and enjoyed the sound of the sea lapping on the shores below. The swimming pool is sparkling clean and big enough for a proper swim. There are two large, good quality umbrellas and four comfortable loungers - a welcome luxury after a hot day out, or for those lazy 'villa days'. Inside the villa, it's every bit as good as the pictures suggest. Comfortable beds with smooth cotton sheets, good bathrooms (the third loo and washing machine are really handy), spacious layout, well-equipped kitchen... there is everything you need and more, all spotless and fully functioning. Paraskevas, the owner, is a delightful man who takes pride in his two villas and does everything to ensure you have a good holiday. At the same time, he respects your privacy. He offers many nice little touches that make you feel special. He works hard and really deserves his success. We were sad to say goodbye to Paraskevas and will always think of him as a friend. If you're after a bit of luxury on a beautiful island, with perfect beaches and interesting day trips close at hand, we absolutely recommend Villa Penelope (and Odysseus next door).

2018 it was our sixth stay in Villa Penelope. Year after year we cannot imagine a perfect summer holiday in a different location. The view is amazing, the villa is as elegant and clean as ever, the pool fantastic. But what is really surprising is the owner, Paraskevas :)))). He manages somehow to surprise us every time. And I am not speaking only about having together a welcome drink with cold beer in frozen glasses, but also about interesting chats on Greek culture and advises on where to go and what to see on the island. He is a real wizard in the most positive way. So guess what, we just made our reservation for next year. Cannot wait to visit Paraskevas again in 2019 (or sooner). Ευχαριστώ πολύ τον Παρασκευά
