Το Athena Elea είναι μια ολοκαίνουργια πολυτελής βίλα, χτισμένη με βάση την παλιά πέτρινη αποθήκη της οικογένειάς μας. Συνδυάζει προσεκτικά τα παραδοσιακά στοιχεία με τη μοντέρνα αισθητική και την άνεση. Η βίλα υπόσχεται να είναι το ιδανικό μέρος για χαλάρωση, εξερεύνηση και απόλαυση της πραγματικής κρητικής ζωής.

Το εσωτερικό του Athena Elea περιλαμβάνει 3 δίκλινα υπνοδωμάτια, 3 μπάνια, σαλόνι / τραπεζαρία και κουζίνα. Σε όλο το χώρο της βίλας, το μοντέρνο στιλ ανταποκρίνεται σε επιλεγμένα στοιχεία της παράδοσης της οικογένειας, όπως ξύλινα χειροποίητα έπιπλα και υφάσματα από αιωνόβια που κατασκευάζονται από τις δικές μας γιαγιάδες. Το οικόπεδο 1600 τμ της βίλας διαθέτει ελαιόδεντρα παλαιάς χιλιετίας, πισίνα (40 τμ) και άφθονο χώρο για χαλάρωση και οικογενειακές δραστηριότητες. Ένα μοναδικό χαρακτηριστικό δίπλα στη βίλα είναι ένα μικρό ανακαινισμένο ιερό, που χτίστηκε από τη γιαγιά του ιδιοκτήτη στα μέσα του 20ου αιώνα. Ακριβώς δίπλα στο οικόπεδο της βίλας, διατηρούμε έναν οργανικό οπωρώνα 4500 τ.μ., στον οποίο οι επισκέπτες είναι ευπρόσδεκτοι να κάνουν βόλτες και να εξερευνήσουν εποχιακά οπωροφόρα δέντρα και λαχανικά.

We had such a lovely stay at Apostolos’ villa - not only was it clean and well-located, it was also beautiful and a great place to relax. Apostolos was a fantastic host and welcomed us in person with a tour of the orchard connected to the villa as well as local Cretan products. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we are back in Chania.

We had a fabulous holiday at Athena. The villa is spacious and has a lovely pool which we all enjoyed and at times was a great place to refresh and cool down. The villa is well furnished and Apostolos has made great efforts to make sure it has everything you might need. Apostolos was a very kind host and had left us with snacks, home made local food and wine on arrival - very kind. The villa is a 20 mins easy drive from Chania (a bit further from the airport) but is well located to access beaches, vineyards, gorges etc. Agia lake is also a short walk and there are two restaurants there which we can recommend and have very friendly staff and great service.

Athina is a beautiful villa with a stunning orchard that we could pick fresh fruit and veg whenever we wanted. I would not hesitate in booking Athina again if we ever visited Crete.

The villa Athena Elea is the perfect Airbnb. Our highlights are - definitely the big orchard directly behind the houses’ garden with fresh fruit & veggies to pick for breakfast or dinner - The big Swimmingpool and enough space in the garden for everyone to play games or lay on the sunbed - Supermarket just around the corner - Well equipped kitchen and also the option to use the outdoor kitchen, the bbq and pizza oven - Very safe feeling Apostolos deserves the titel superhost for sure - he gave us a very warm welcome, showing us around the garden and even explaining some of the plants / trees and the background story of the villa. The cheese spinach pies & wine bottles were very generous welcome presents. He always had tips for us where to go for dinner or how to order a taxi.
