Athena Elea es una villa de lujo nueva, construida utilizando el antiguo almacén de piedra de nuestra familia como base. Combina cuidadosamente elementos tradicionales con estética y comodidad modernas. La villa promete ser el lugar perfecto para relajarse, explorar y probar la vida real de Creta.

El interior de Athena Elea incluye 3 habitaciones dobles, 3 baños, una sala de estar / comedor y una cocina. We had such a lovely stay at Apostolos’ villa - not only was it clean and well-located, it was also beautiful and a great place to relax. Apostolos was a fantastic host and welcomed us in person with a tour of the orchard connected to the villa as well as local Cretan products. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we are back in Chania.

We had a fabulous holiday at Athena. The villa is spacious and has a lovely pool which we all enjoyed and at times was a great place to refresh and cool down. The villa is well furnished and Apostolos has made great efforts to make sure it has everything you might need. Apostolos was a very kind host and had left us with snacks, home made local food and wine on arrival - very kind. The villa is a 20 mins easy drive from Chania (a bit further from the airport) but is well located to access beaches, vineyards, gorges etc. Agia lake is also a short walk and there are two restaurants there which we can recommend and have very friendly staff and great service.

Athina is a beautiful villa with a stunning orchard that we could pick fresh fruit and veg whenever we wanted. I would not hesitate in booking Athina again if we ever visited Crete.

The villa Athena Elea is the perfect Airbnb. Our highlights are - definitely the big orchard directly behind the houses’ garden with fresh fruit & veggies to pick for breakfast or dinner - The big Swimmingpool and enough space in the garden for everyone to play games or lay on the sunbed - Supermarket just around the corner - Well equipped kitchen and also the option to use the outdoor kitchen, the bbq and pizza oven - Very safe feeling Apostolos deserves the titel superhost for sure - he gave us a very warm welcome, showing us around the garden and even explaining some of the plants / trees and the background story of the villa. The cheese spinach pies & wine bottles were very generous welcome presents. He always had tips for us where to go for dinner or how to order a taxi.
