During the day we ventured out to see the sites of Crete which has a lot to offer. The owners were highly responsive to any need we had and were very accommodating. We even had traditional Greek food (moussaka) homemade for us by Olga, which was amazing. We loved our time there and would happily return again. Stephanie

This is a villa with a stunning view and wonderful hill top position. It's accommodation is versatile (our children all occupied the flat on the bottom floor and made it their home for the week!). The pool has great views out over the sea and the local beaches and the table next to the pool offers the chance to eat as a large group and relax on the sofas in the shade if we wanted. The villa is very well equipped and feels like a real home with trophies and even an Olympic torch on the walls. The position, so close to the local beach is very good (and we walked down some nights for a meal on the shoreline) although it's a very steep hill back up. It's also within 20 mins of a very good waterpark, which our children loved, and has very close access to well stocked supermarkets within 3 mins drive. This is a great villa and I am happy to recommend it for people, especially with families and larger parties, travelling.

We loved our stay in the Villa. Directions were straight forward so we found the Villa easily and were met there by the host, Maria. Maria was lovely and provided us lots of information, the Villa was well stocked with local fresh produced for our arrival…
We loved our stay in the Villa. Directions were straight forward so we found the Villa easily and were met there by the host, Maria. Maria was lovely and provided us lots of information, the Villa was well stocked with local fresh produced for our arrival, as well as store cupboard basics for us to you use during our stay. Maria was quick to respond to any queries during the week and nothing was too much trouble. The Villa was amazing, great layout, clean, beautiful location, and gorgeous outdoor area. As a party of 10 guests from age 11 to 70’s it suited us all with some room to spare. We even used the gym each day! Location-it is up a hill, seems to be typical for area, but you wouldn’t get the spectacular views otherwise. It’s also private and not overlooked. We did the walk up the hill on a daily basis to either the local store a short walk away (200m), or down the the local beach, restaurants, shops. The hill is very steep in places but the steep bits are short so as long as you take time it’s ok. Didn’t put us off. Plenty local amenities. We had small cars but didn’t really use other than to go to vineyard inland (Manousakis Winery- would highly recommend a trip for lunch and a wine tasting), to get to Balos boat cruise or for a trip to one of the local Lidl stores for supplies ( cheaper than local grocery stores, which there are plenty off). You could survive without car as also plenty local taxis. Only one small piece of feedback is the showers sometimes struggled if we all showered at same time (inconsistent temperature), but that was minor point. We loved our stay and didn’t want to leave... would happily book another week stay again. 5 stars from us!

The owners were incredibly hospitable, leaving us fruit and bringing over traditional cretan products, and stopping by to make sure we were not in need of anything. The place was clean and new which was a priority for me travelling wit there small children. Finally location was great because we had the quiet of a village house and only a a very short walk from the beach and the restaurants.

The villa was all and more than we expected it to be. Maria was very attentive and made us feel very welcome on arrival. The villa is in a great location for the beach with a 5 minute walk. Fine going but coming back you have a bit of an incline to manage. Chainia centre is only a 10 minute drive away with great restaurants plus there little beach cubes hidden off the main road to explore. Great if you have younger kids. There was 7 of us on this holiday and we had plenty of room. Can easily accommodate more and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Will go back no doubt.

The view is unbelievable, lots of restaurants and groceries close by. Maria was so kind and had the fridge and pantry filled with items to get us going which was very much appreciated after travelling so far! Maria also dropped in and brought us some delicious sweet breads! The house had lots of room and the kids loved having the bottom floor to themselves. It was a truly enjoyable week at this very clean and spacious villa. We were seven adults from age 17 to 81 and we had more than ample room to enjoy total relaxation in either sunny or shady spots around the villa. The view down to the sea, over the gorgeous pool was wonderful, and it was quite easy to walk down to the beach with a choice of bars, restaurants and small shops. Chania is an utter gem... Hiring a boat around Theodore Island to do some snorkelling was one of the highlights of the week. We’d love to return... Many many thanks for your hospitality.

He greeted us with local wines and coffees at home, and they offered us great homemade pies for check-out. The villa is exactly as it is seen from the pictures, and it is the cleanest guesthouse I've ever stayed. The location of the property is very unique - as it is both in a very quiet and deserted area, and at the same time so close to the beautiful Cretan beaches and lively center of Stalos. The villa is a great option for large families who plan to stay in Crete.

Our stay at the villa was amazing. From the moment we were on route from Mykonos, Maria contacted us whilst we were on the ferry to estimate our arrival time. Once we were in Crete we phoned to let her know our arrival time at the villa. Because we were going to arrive late, Maria arranged for a delivery of pizza and pasta, wow! Upon arrival she was there to greet us, and gave a guided tour. She had arranged supplies of fruit, bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee, cereals, wine, beer and so much more!!!!!! Indeed enough to feed our large party for many days. The villa it self was amazing and was more than we could have wished for. I would recommend to anyone visiting Crete to stay here, the location was very peaceful, yet only a 15 minute walk to the local town or 5 minutes by car (which would be necessary for those not wanting to climb up hill. The views of the sea and sunset/rises were spectacular. The pool was wonderful and the house was more than big enough to accommodate are party of 8 adults and one child (and more). Every need was catered for and all the home essentials on site for, washing/ironing/cooking/pool activities, barbecue, toiletries, pool towels, bath robes etc, etc, etc. A truely awesome villa with a wonderful host. If we are allowed, we will be back soon.

Our stay at this villa was amazing, wonderful views and location. The hosts were very helpful, and the communication was excellent. A variety of food and drink on arrival was greatly appreciated. The villa is so well equipped , everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend

Alors le séjour dans la maison était super. La villa est spacieuse, propre, cuisine bien équipée et quand nous sommes arrivés il y a avait des provisions et du vin offert. Les chambres, salle de bain tout est nickel. Les enfants ont adoré la PlayStation…
Alors le séjour dans la maison était super. La villa est spacieuse, propre, cuisine bien équipée et quand nous sommes arrivés il y a avait des provisions et du vin offert. Les chambres, salle de bain tout est nickel. Les enfants ont adoré la PlayStation et les chambres avec leur propre salle de bain. La villa ressemble vraiment aux photos sur le site. Et le must c est l extérieur, la terrasse et la piscine, wouaw trop magnifique..... elle est toujours propre, pleins de jeux gonflable pour jouer et il a beaucoup de place autour de la maison. Le centre ville et la mer sont très proche.... bon la montée est rude..... Donc le seul bémol je trouve qu il devrait avoir une petite voiture ou scooter à disposition pour au moins aller faire les courses. Endroit magnifique, nous avons adoré la Crète. Et l agence super. Merci beaucoup.

Our family of 9 stayed at the Villa to celebrate a 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our time there could not have been more wonderful. The house surpassed our expectations: beautifully appointed, well supplied, and situated with a stunning view of the ocean. The swimming pool was a big hit especially for the children who spent time in it every day. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms ensured that each member of the family was comfortable. The house was immaculate thanks to the cleaning staff who prepared for our arrival and then came again at mid-week. When one in our family became ill, the owner went out of her way to be helpful, bringing medications and advice. I can say that Paradise Villa was a perfect setting for an extraordinary week - one of the best vacations we have ever had.

Better than expected!

Our stay was incredible! The villa was exactly as described and pictured, and Gerasimo was so gracious, kind, and helpful with any and all issues that we had. The fridge was stocked with some food for us to start, it was spotless, the beds were comfortable…

The fridge was stocked with some food for us to start, it was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the views simply could not be beat. His restaurant recommendation was perfect, and we returned multiple times. It was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, and all members of our party had a fantastic time. It is absolutely a place we would happily return to. So many thanks to Gerasimo for sharing his home with us and other guests - amazing doesn't even begin to cover it!

Perfect villa

We had an amazing time at the Villa. It was perfect for our three-generational family of 8 and gave us enough room to not be on top of each other. Maria the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful and the bonus of having a cleaner come in mid week…
We had an amazing time at the Villa. It was perfect for our three-generational family of 8 and gave us enough room to not be on top of each other. Maria the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful and the bonus of having a cleaner come in mid week was a nice surprise. The star of the villa is the view which is absolutely stunning and the infinity pool means that it is not obscured (one tip if you like us have older members of the family the pool is very refreshing so if you want it heated ask for this before you arrive, at an extra cost). It is a pleasant walk down to the town although a taxi was used to get back as it was steep. We found a lovely taverna and definitely recommend looking away from the beach as these restaurants were more commercial. The mini golf was a big hit and we realised the owner had the villa next door. We would recommend this villa and company without hesitation.

I would say it was the perfect stay

The villa was perfect from every account. We were 9 people, and everybody had tons of space and privacy while in the property. Maria was very very kind, she also stocked our villa before we arrived so we don't have to focus on shopping on the same day…
The villa was perfect from every account. We were 9 people, and everybody had tons of space and privacy while in the property. Maria was very very kind, she also stocked our villa before we arrived so we don't have to focus on shopping on the same day as landing. I will point out, I never had this in any place I stayed before, and its really nice and helps. The villa itself is amazing, there is a crazy view for you to wake up to, the house is decorated very nicely and the villa lets you feel like youre at home. This is not a generic Ikea decorated place nor is everything brand new. Everything is definitely in very very nice taste, and you can tell this is a HOUSE and not a hotel. So, 5 minutes after arrival you already feel like its your own place which makes the trip amazing. If you are thinking about this, just take it. The location of the town is also good.

We spent a week in the Villa with a large group of 12 which worked out well with plenty of room for all. The house was spectacular with the most amazing views overlooking the Aegean Sea. During the day we ventured out to see the sites of Crete which has a lot to offer. The owners were highly responsive to any need we had and were very accommodating…

This is a villa with a stunning view and wonderful hill top position. It's accommodation is versatile (our children all occupied the flat on the bottom floor and made it their home for the week!). This is a villa with a stunning view and wonderful hill top position. It's accommodation is versatile (our children all occupied the flat on the bottom floor and made it their home for the week!). The pool has great views out over the sea and the local beaches and the table next to the pool offers the chance to eat as a large group and relax on the sofas in the shade if we wanted. The villa is very well equipped and feels like a real home with trophies and even an Olympic torch on the walls. The position, so close to the local beach is very good (and we walked down some nights for a meal on the shoreline) although it's a very steep hill back up. It's also within 20 mins of a very good waterpark, which our children loved, and has very close access to well stocked supermarkets within 3 mins drive. This is a great villa and I am happy to recommend it for people, especially with families and larger parties, travelling.
