Villa Antian Crete is a luxury villa rental with 4 bedrooms and a private pool. Villa Marianna is the perfect resort for someone seeking luxury and comfort in unique scenery. It can accommodate up to 8 persons and it is situated in a private property of 2000sqm, surrounded by olive and orange trees, in a walking distance from the beautiful village of Vryses in western Crete. The location offers a breathtaking view of the sierra of white mountains, and creates to the visitor a sense of relaxation and calm, while for the kids it is the ideal place for endless hours of play and fun. Within a distance of a few kilometres and after a few minutes drive are found the amazing long sandy beaches of Georgioupolis, Kavros, Almirida and Kalyves.

Villa Antian Crete consists of two spacious floors and a totally separate, fully equipped hostel on the ground floor, which with a different entrance from the main house provides extra privacy and can be very convenient for many groups of guests. On the first floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a big living room with a comfortable sofa in earthy colours, a classic dining table beside the fireplace and a small bathroom. With many windows and balcony doors, the floor is extremely sunny throughout the day.

Marble stairs lead to the second floor where there are three inclined, wooden ceiling bedrooms, each one with its own big side to side closet, and each one with a separate balcony with an uninterrupted view of Apokoronas area. Two of the rooms have a double size bed while the third has two single beds. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units. On the same floor, there is the main spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi and a cloth washing machine. The house on the ground floor is a lovely low-roof hostel with one bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a living room with direct access to the amazing gardens of the villa. The bedroom has a double size bed, a big closet and it is air-conditioned. Also on the ground floor, beside the hostel, there is a private space serving as a gym for personal training upon request.

The exterior of Villa Antian Crete is a unique place, offering various spots for rejuvenating and relaxing moments throughout the day and night. The back yard is planted with fruit trees and vegetables, all available to villa’s guests, while the front garden is covered with lawn, small trees and stone decorated corners full of local herbs, cactus and flowers. The big 50sqm pool, with a depth from 0.5m to 1.9m is situated on the side of the house offering complete privacy and endless hours of rest and joy for the big and small ones.

The huge of its kind traditional barbeque is built exclusively with local stones and for the design, the owner followed in every detail the old way of construction. Right next to the barbeque there is a stone-build waterfall ending in a small fish lake covered with water lilies. With amazing night lighting, the spot creates enthusiasm and completes the unique exterior of the villa. At the entrance of the front yard, there is a comfortable private parking space for 3 cars.

Villa Antian Crete was built with a focus on every detail, aiming to cover all the needs of a big family, or a group of friends, and offer them comfortable and safe vacation time. Villa Marianna is a construction of modern design with a spacious interior and an uninterrupted view of the amazing landscape of the area. The one of a kind exterior including a big swimming pool, an amazing barbeque, waterfalls, the stone colorful creations in the amazing gardens is part of the unique beauty of the villa. Just back from a fabulous holiday! Highly recommend

The villa was perfect and just as described with everything we needed and some lovely touches to welcome us on arrival - bunch of flowers, home-made cake and local olive oil! We were met on arrival, shown around, and given a very warm welcome indeed…
The villa was perfect and just as described with everything we needed and some lovely touches to welcome us on arrival - bunch of flowers, home-made cake and local olive oil! We were met on arrival, shown around, and given a very warm welcome indeed. George kept in touch throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Orchard was amazing! The villa was spotlessly clean, and cleaned 3 times during our stay with fresh linen and towels. The pool was brilliant, with some inflatables left by previous guests. Plenty of areas for much needed shade while the sun beds were comfy. Views of the mountains were stunning as was the evening sunset from one of the many balconies. Air con in each room was a godsend! Just the one local power cut during our 2 weeks which only lasted a few hours and George’s Son and Dad were soon on the case with, and kept us informed. Only a 15 mins walk into nearby Vryses village with 2 main restaurants, a beautiful bakery, and a few small supermarkets…and a much-frequented ice cream parlour! Our hire car was definitely needed (I’d say essential really) to venture further afield (highly recommend Georgiopolis for beach, shopping and restaurants for meals) plus larger supermarkets and the water park near Chania. We caught the bus from Vryses to Chania and Rethymnon a few times (buy tickets from the helpful man in the ‘bus station’ cafe on the main street!). Perfect villa for our 2 families

The place is beautiful with plenty of space for 8. We were greeted by Leonidas, George's father, on check in which was flexible and seamless. Throughout the week we enjoyed the pool and there is a sitting area in the sun and shade for all times of day. There is aircon in every bedroom and a well equipped kitchen. The BBQ area is lovely and we really enjoyed using it. Check out was also flexible with George kindly allowing us to stay at the villa until the afternoon as there was no one to check in that day. George himself is very communicative and friendly. Overall I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peacefull secluded location with beautiful views.

Thank you to George and his family for their welcome and help during our stay. Check in process was smooth and we were warmly welcomed. We had fresh fruits, olive oil and tsikoudia and freshly baked cake on arrival.It was very clean and all the amenities you could want.Location was excellent. You could walk to the village (vryses), and the beach at georgioupoli was 15 mins, rethymo approx 35mins. There are smaller supermarkets in Vryses, bigger ones in kalyves and georgioupoli. Great mountain views from the house. Pool was good and was cleaned during our stay. The location was private as you are not overlooked by anybody.The host, George, is easily contactable and any issues are promptly resolved (one of the AC units needs fixing, and it was sorted immediately). We would definitely recommend this property for families.

The owners were so welcoming and warm. Any issue or query we had was attended to there and then. Any advice we needed they were on hand any time of day! the outside of this villa is stunning! Absolutely perfect location. Near a beach. Near tourist areas but also traditional Crete is right on your doorstep. The local shops bars and taverns on right on hand with the freshest of produce… we were so so sad to leave but left with the best memories and the most relaxed version of ourselves in a while. The outside bbq area was a huge hit with hubby. And the apartment underneath was perfect for the grandparents. They said it was the best holiday they have ever had. This holiday this villa this family this location has a special part in our hearts.

George's beautiful villa was an absolutely perfect spot for a holiday with my adult children and their partners. Lots of space, both inside and out: gorgeous gardens full of flowers and fruit trees, a spacious and secure parking area, and a fantastic swimming pool with ample chairs and sunbeds for everyone. Plus a rustic barbecue area in a shady corner (complete with an outdoor kitchen!) There are several different seating areas on terraces and in the garden, to make the most of the glorious mountain views at every time of day. Very peaceful area, a short walk to the village where there are supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher and a fishmonger (we bought delicious fresh fish here). The villa is spotless, with ample cooking equipment and fresh towels, and was thoroughly cleaned top to bottom midway into our stay. George is a very responsive host, and he and his father kept in touch with us regularly during our stay. All in all, we had the most wonderful holiday experience here!

Me and my family have just returned from our holiday and everything was wonderful. The villa is stunning and absolutely spotless. Located in a lovely village just a short walk away you had the best of both worlds - privacy with the option of walking to some lovely taverns. The local beach is 15 minutes away and is stunning. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Always available if we needed anything and even provided us with a delicious meal for our first evening!! This was our first vist but wont be our last. Thank you so very much.

The pool was fabulous and we loved the outdoor kitchen area and cooked homemade pizza's in the wood fired oven which was a real treat. Thank you to the hosts who were responsive and helpful to any questions we had.

This is a fantastic Villa, spacious, spotless & plenty of room for family & friends to spread out and enjoy the various spaces . Eat by the BBQ, on the Balcony or inside. The Pool has a depth that if you like a swim you can enjoy. George,our host & his team, are friendly,welcoming & couldn’t do enough to make our stay relaxing. Poppy , the Housekeeper visited during our stay to clean & check we had everything we needed, even bringing us some homemade cakes & homegrown vegetables. This Villa is ideally located to go out & explore by car. Whether you want to explore the far west of the island, the Cities & the South of the island all of these are accessible. The local village of Vryses, has two Bakeries, a number of small Supermarkets & Restaurants, therefore plenty close by. Loved our stay, would definitely go back and would thoroughly recommend the villa to anyone

Absolutely fabulous, from booking to leaving. Villa was amazing, so peaceful and charming, Villa was spotlessly clean, Poppy who came to clean was adorable, even brought my granddaughter a lolly pop which she was delighted with, and made us all a cake which was delicious. We were given some local products and some raki, which again was a nice touch, George the hosts dad was super friendly too, I asked if there was an ice box at the villa for us to take to the beach, and the very next day we had one, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, the villa was completely private and the village restaurants and shops were a 5 minute walk. In the words of my granddaughter “I’m dreaming Nannie “ she was in her element especially in the pool which was probably one of the best pools we have had, we always have villa holidays and this one was one of the best. Thankyou George, Poppy and Georges dad for making our holiday so amazing.

The downstairs living, dining & kitchen area is very spacious. Kitchen well equipped. The outside areas are vast , including a BBQ area, which we used several times and a pizza oven which we did not try. The swimming pool is lovely, possibly one of the nicest pools we have had. The pool and housekeeping was every few days which was ideal. Any issues were promptly responded to by George and usually sorted out by his wonderful father. Checking in and out was an easy process, we were met both on arrival and departure by George’s father. On arrival there was a bowl of fruit, water in fridge and some Raki! As a parting gift we were given some cheese which I believe was produced by the family. Overall a very relaxing holiday, the villa was just outside the local town which meant we had lots of privacy. There is also a small flat at the base of the house which comes with the villa, ideal for grandparents etc. Local town was a little over 10 minutes walk with cafes, tavernas and super markets. Lots of other tavernas within 15 minute driving range. At some point we will return to Crete and would certainly stay here again.

We had one or two small issues which were dealt with quickly. George and his father were always available and very helpful. The pool and BBQ were exceptional. We would definitely return to this villa.

Absolutely amazing place

The location of this villa could not have been better. Private and secluded but close enough to lake sea and towns to enjoy. There are a lot of marble steps to navigate which become slippery when wet so just need to be aware. The owners were helpful…

There are a lot of marble steps to navigate which become slippery when wet so just need to be aware. The owners were helpful and friendly and were available to sort out any issues promptly. We had a few issues with the electricity but this was sorted out by George. I would recommend this villa.

Wi-Fi is available in the main rooms. The hosts were always available and very helpful. All in all, a highly recommended accommodation package. that was fun

The hosts were so lovely, great communication throughout, gave us several homemade Cretan treats throughout our stay etc. The Villa is stunning, beautiful gardens and views, large pool, plenty of different outdoor seating areas and the outdoor cooking area is amazing! Great location, very private but only a short walk to the village of Vryses, where there are tavernas, supermarkets, bakery’s etc. Also lots to see and do only a short drive away, Lake Kournas, Chania Old town, some beautiful traditional tavernas in the hills etc etc wish we could have stayed longer to see more! We would definitely recommend to anyone.
