Ban Mekkala Samui est une toute nouvelle maison qui a été conçue pour accentuer la vie confortable et pratique dans un paradis tropical. De l'extérieur, les murs imposants prêtent peu au fait qu'il s'agit vraiment d'une maison contemporaine qui a combiné son emplacement et son design spacieux avec le luxe d'une technologie moderne et d'un mobilier de qualité pour créer un refuge pour ceux qui recherchent une retraite relaxante ou une escapade amusante. .

En entrant dans l'enceinte de la villa, vous êtes attiré dans la résidence au-dessus d'un étang paisible en gradins rempli de poissons Coy et de la vue imprenable sur un océan scintillant au loin. L'entrée principale de la villa mène directement à l'intérieur caverneux du salon/salle à manger/cuisine combiné. Cette grande pièce située au deuxième niveau de la maison principale crée une atmosphère décontractée grâce à l'utilisation de l'espace, à la conception décloisonnée et à la vue imprenable qui peut être appréciée sous tous les angles grâce à l'utilisation complémentaire de baies vitrées l'étendue du bâtiment. Dans cette zone se trouvent l'énorme cuisine gastronomique de la maison, une table à manger de douze places idéale pour un festin et le salon / espace de divertissement meublé avec un décor thaïlandais moderne et l'un des principaux plaisirs de cette propriété; un système audio/visuel de pointe équipé d'une télévision à écran plasma et d'une technologie de son surround qui est relié à chaque partie de la maison (à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur) afin que vos morceaux préférés puissent être écoutés où que vous soyez !

Vous quittez cette zone par un grand balcon couvert et descendez au rez-de-chaussée par un escalier donnant sur une cascade qui se jette dans une cour intérieure en contrebas. Ce niveau contient les 6 chambres composées de 3 styles différents (2 chambres par design). Toutes les chambres sont dans une configuration de literie double (lits king size), disposent de salles de bains privatives avec de grandes douches à l'italienne et baignoires, et des lecteurs TV/DVD avec des unités individuelles de télévision par satellite. Le rez-de-chaussée du bâtiment principal abrite les chambres 5 et 6 ainsi qu'un hammam. En descendant le jardin, il y a quatre autres pavillons de chambres individuels. Les chambres 3 et 4 sont les deux premières de chaque côté de l'étendue centrale d'herbe et disposent d'une douche extérieure supplémentaire dans leur propre cour privée. Les chambres 1 et 2 sont les chambres principales et les plus grandes de toutes avec l'avantage supplémentaire de leurs propres stéréos surround personnelles qui peuvent être isolées du système dans la maison principale.

À cette extrémité de la propriété, le sable doré de la plage tranquille de Laem Sor vous invite. Ceci est complété par la grande piscine de la maison qui se trouve juste au-dessus de la plage et dispose de bancs de soleil incrustés uniques, d'un pavillon de salle à manger en plein air ainsi que d'une cuisine barbecue pour les douces soirées de Samui.

I can say without any hesitation that my stay at Ban Mekkala was the best holiday I've had. A large group of 11 of us stayed here over Christmas and New Year and the house quite exceeded all of my expectations. Beautifully situated in a quiet and peaceful part of the island, the house was tranquil and luxurious in equal measures. Separate sleeping quarters gave us the privacy we needed but big communal spaces meant we could comfortably relax together. The house has fantastic facilities, including one of the most beautiful swimming pools I've ever seen, and the moment you step off the property you find yourself on an exquisite beach, which is calm and unspoilt. What made this holiday so spectacular was the staff. Every meal was cooked for us by Tum, who aside from being exceedingly charming, was a master in the kitchen. I'm still dreaming of his Papaya salad! Coco, Sai, Kai and Eak were a joy to be around, always smiling and making this gorgeous house seem even more idyllic. But it was Fai, the villa manager, who elevated our stay to pure perfection. She was always ready to answer any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed at any given time. Thank you to all those wonderful people who made this a holiday to daydream over during the long English winters!

11 of us spent 2 weeks over Xmas and new year in this wonderful villa by the sea in the quiet south of Koh Samui. Beautifully designed with care and no little artistry, this is a simply fabulous place to unwind, rest, heal and restore. Lots of spaces to gather communally or read on your own, the inviting sea before you, the infinity pool is quite fabulous and, at around 20m in length, is able to accommodate lap swimming. What raises this villa from the merely fabulous to the simply sublime are the charming, helpful and thoughtful staff who discreetly tend to your every need: the fabulous cooking of Tum the chef; the lovely cleaners Sai and Kai; the helpful driver Eak; the cheerful and ever smiling Coco who tends the garden; but rising above even all of these wonderful people is the delightful Fai, the villa manager, who made our holiday the success it was by her patient answering of all our many questions and requests we bombarded her with on a daily basis. Thank you Fai. Thank you Ban Mekkala for the lingering memories.

We were greeted by super friendly and professional staff at the door, walked over a little beautiful coil fish pond into the main house on the upper level, and our eyes and cameras just could not stop appreciating all the details, the art pieces, the design of the space, the furniture...everything. All the rooms are so thoughtfully designed that every room has a view of the ocean and the pool. In-room amenities, decorations, atmosphere are so comfy and stylish that I can stay in the room all day. But why would I when I can open our glass sliding door and take a few steps to plunge into the warm infinite pool and watch the ocean and hear the waves! Or we could take the kayaks out for a beautiful sunset watch on the ocean. Or we could just hang out at any corner of this house, not going anywhere and enjoy a true vacation experience. When we did go out, we felt that the food prepared in the house by our staff was much better than the restaurants. This vacation home truly offers a fun, relax, comfortable, and worry-free vacation. We highly recommend this house for any group who is visiting Koh Samui. It was a magical experience for us.

I first attended my friend's wedding at Ban Mekkala and was so impressed. These two years I have been dying to return. Now upon my 20th wedding anniversary, I knew where I wanted to stay! The best part was knowing my family and friends would be touched by the beauty and layout of the villa. Every room was top class, clean, and well looked after. The staff knew exactly how to service yet let us feel independent. The serenity of the location was truly the best way to enjoy Samui. Top marks in every aspect. I shall return!

Perfect, been back 7 times

Our large family, 12 adults and four children under 6years, have had a wonderful holiday and go back every year. The staff are excellent, especially the chef who caters to us and the kids. The accommodation is luxurious and comfortable. Spotless linen…
Our large family, 12 adults and four children under 6years, have had a wonderful holiday and go back every year. The staff are excellent, especially the chef who caters to us and the kids. The accommodation is luxurious and comfortable. Spotless linen, bath and beach towels provided everyday, the pool is big and surrounds the outdoor 'sala' ( eating area) Upstairs is the dining room and lounge with huge telly and music. We are going again in Aug 2013. The staff look after our every need from transportation, laundry, beach barbecue, boat for fishing or watersports. We get picked up at the airport by the villa manager and all the staff are waiting to welcome us on arrival.

This is a truly lovely place to enjoy your holiday if you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing and very well equipped villa. As a family we have been three times usually in Sept/Oct which is not the high season. The weather has been good with short sharp showers, but not enough to spoil the holiday. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The villa is situated in a quiet part of the island but within 30 minutes of more lively areas if you fancy a day/night out. The chef is very talented and produces wonderful Thai dishes to please all. Many of the bedrooms are situated to the side of the garden or near the pool, which is chlorine free and suits our grandchildren. The beach leading down from the gardens is quiet and safe for children. This is a lovely place to stay for our extended family and we will be going back again this year.

I came to Ban Mekkala with a large group of extended family, it was our second holiday at the property and as before we had a fantastic time. The property was in good order and everything we needed was supplied. The staff were very attentive and helpful without being at all intrusive and they were particularly kind towards our children. The pool was a delight with a quiet beach to entertain the younger members of our party. The food was delicious with all our individual needs being catered for by the very talented chef. I can highly recommend Ban Mekkala and I feel that it is particularly suited to larger groups/family holidays.
