We just got back from a 4 day holiday at Coastal Escape. Our friends have been many times and we were lucky enough to get invited for the holiday weekend. We rented the whole resort and had the most amazing experience. The rooms are gorgeously appointed. Each villa has two bedrooms and a living room with a small kitchen. There is a plunge pool at each villa. You can enjoy your dinner in your room or at the main bar area. Breakfast is incredible. You can order as much as you want and all of it served piping hot. You can order Asian noodles, eggs any style, fresh fruit with homemade muesli, gorgeous croissants and cheese or do what we did and order it all! The cocktails and fresh juices were amazing and we spent the weekend having them try new combinations. All of the staff were helpful and accommodating. Daniel was available by phone and checked in with us many times each day always available to organize boat trips, motor-bikes or special dinners. There are kayaks and stand up paddleboards available for use. The view is to die for. When our flight continually got delayed, the resort was kind enough to extend our stay and organize a special return boat so we didn't have to sit at the airport. Already planning our next visit to Coastal Escape!

There are no words to satisfactorily describe this special place. The beauty of the location, and the food are only out classed by the staff working there. We got to know each and every one of the thirteen staff members because they made our stay memorable…
There are no words to satisfactorily describe this special place. The beauty of the location, and the food are only out classed by the staff working there. We got to know each and every one of the thirteen staff members because they made our stay memorable. We had our own 2 bedroom villa, where we stayed with our son, his wife, 4 year old granddaughter and our 4 month old grandson. We were there for a week. It started by staff greeting us on the beach when our boat arrived late at night, and we were able to order a dinner in our villa upon arrival. The seafood dinner was absolutely delicious. They gave us an electronic device and asked us to push the button any time we needed something. I think my wife thought it was her own personal service button and over used it at her leisure. They were very service oriented and encouraged us to use it whenever/whatever we needed something. There was no telephone in the room that I can remember, and they would always arrive with a smile on their face and pleasant greeting. The complementary breakfast was also a fantastic way to start your day. Although the menu had structure, they would make almost anything you would want for breakfast. In fact, most days we didn't need lunch, because we ate a wonderful large breakfast. Although we did eat most dinners off the resort, we did eat two meals on the resort. They were comparable to a fining dining experience at some of the local restaurants and the price was also comparable. Truly great food at a fair price. It was such a beautiful place to wake up to every morning. We would enjoy our leisurely breakfast by the ocean every morning and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and islands. The week went way too fast as "good times" always pass quickly, and before you knew it we were waving goodbye to our new found friends on the beach as we boarded the power boat for Phuket. The beauty of the island was only surpassed by the friendliness of all the staff who helped us create memories that would last a life time. Would we return? Looking forward to it....

I cannot speak highly enough of this luxurious resort. The rooms were 5 star comfort not missing anything at all. The views from our beds were heaven to wake up to. Daniel you have managed an amazing team. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty by Coastal Escape’s wonderful staff. They feel like family - so welcoming and warm. Special mention to Ma, Aek, (makes an awesome mango daiquiri) Pop, C-Kohh, Book and the boys on the private speed boat! We love this resort and this beautiful unspoilt island of Koh Yao Noi.

We had a very nice 5 days stay in Coastal Escape. The resort has just 4 villas, so, they treat the guests in a very personalized and special way. Every single staff member is nice and kind and taking care of all the details to you enjoy your stay. Food is very good. You can order your fresh seafood in the morning for your dinner at night. You can choose if you want your meals in room or at the pool. Prices are fair. The villa is comfortable and the sea view from the room is stunning. The resort has their own speed boat, from the island you can go to several snorkeling tours and Phi Phi islands. The crew is super nice too. Why not 5 stars though? The beach is not great for swimming, if you go the “rain” season and are unlucky to get rainy days, there is not much you can do. Also, about the speedboat transfer from Phuket to Ko Yao Noi, in our case was raining during the transfer in and windy in the transfer out, so the sea was with many big waves. If you have seasickness it can be not comfortable.

This is the second time we stayed at Coastal. It is the most fabulous place and impossible to fault. We were picked up by Captain Pong on the hotel’s speedboat from Koh Yao Yai, where we had been staying for a few days, and transferred directly to beach outside the hotel. The whole staff was there to meet us as we made our way from the boat - this is such a lovely touch. We felt so welcome. We stayed at villa 3, set back a little from the beach, but still with amazing views and so private. The villas are so fresh and luxurious, with spacious bedrooms and a large living space. Everything is beautifully designed inside. The restaraunt is small and intimate, serving a fabulous breakfast and the a la carte menu is a little bigger than last time we were there. We ate at the restaurant for most of our stay and we impressed by every single meal. The Thai food is delicious , but the western food is also fantastic. The highlight of our stay was a sunset trip out to a deserted little island. When we arrived at the island, once again by speedboat with the fabulous Captain Pong, we were met by an idyllic scene. 3 sunloungers had been arranged with throws and pillows around a table with champagne and snacks. The long tail boat that had transferred all this to to the island was hidden from view so the impression was that we had stumbled upon this romantic setting by accident and were completely alone. The children thought is was so amazing as did we . After an hour or so on the island, Captain Pong drove us out to a great spot on the water where we watched the sunset. Magical. One of the most unique things about Coastal is the attention to detail and personal service. I had an ear ache , which slowly became a painful ear infection. I just had to mention this and without further ado, the team had arranged a time at the doctor and transport to and from the clinic. The small touches at the hotel are also what makes it stand out from the crowd. One afternoon we returned from a diving trip to find the guests enjoying a little sangria party. Daniel thought it would be a nice way for the guests to chat a little and so had arranged Sangria for the guests (of course also providing an alcohol free version for the children). It was lovely to sit and enjoy a drink with the other guests. The team that works at Coastal are increadible. Ma has total control over everything, from fixing a child seat on a bike so we could use the brilliant mountain bikes provided by the hotel, to quietly coming to inform you when it’s time for a massage, or any other event you have planned. Aek is the most amazing bartender and his ,and Book’s, cocktails are the best on the planet. Mark and Daniel are around all time time so make sure everything is perfect. Thank you Coastal Escape for the best week.

Et fantastisk feriested med alt tilrettelagt etter egent ønske. Mat og drikke eksellent, servert i restaurant eller bungalow. Om du bestiller fisk til middag før kl.13, fikk vi det beste fiskemåltidet jeg noen gang har fått servert. Båt tur rundt…
Et fantastisk feriested med alt tilrettelagt etter egent ønske. Mat og drikke eksellent, servert i restaurant eller bungalow. Om du bestiller fisk til middag før kl.13, fikk vi det beste fiskemåltidet jeg noen gang har fått servert. Båt tur rundt øyene med stopp for snorkling. Sykkeltur rundt hele øya, perfekt rolig vann for wakeboard og kajakk tur. Spabehandlinger ble også en ekstra pluss. Kan anbefales på det sterkeste, vi hadde 4 fantastiske dager her.

We have just spent 6 fantastic days at Coastal Escape with our 3 children (all under 11 years) Thank you to Philip, Mark, Eek, Pop, Ma, Gor, Book and Pong for looking after us so very well. You were all so kind! I am sorry we never had the chance to meet Daniel who was always very contactable and sorted out our booking arrangements for us Thank you Daniel. The resort went the extra mile to make us feel so welcome and catered for our every need. The rooms were beautifully appointed and maintained and the views really something special! The kitchen prepared wonderful breakfasts for us every day. Incredible fresh juices as well. We ordered freshly caught fish every evening which was some of the best we have eaten. It was beautifully prepared with wonderful flavours. It was the best food on the island in our opinion. The bar and room service was 5 star and we had drinks prepared for us at any time we needed. We have moved onto Elephant Hills afterwards but are missing you all already! Thank you again Stephen, Katherine and family X
