We were welcomed by the most beautiful and sweet Effie who made us feel right at home. The home was private, spotless with so many amenities for the guests. Our private pool was amazing and overlooked the mountains. The villa is centrally located and is about 20 mins to old town Chania. Grocery stores are close by. Our host was super responsive and addressed all of our needs. A car is a must for this home. All in all, a great visit.

We have just returned from the most wonderful stay in this villa. Perfect location, great instructions from the host. Immaculate villa and outside space. Exactly as the pictures and descriptions show. Clean, modern, efficient air con, all the amenities for a relaxing stay. The outside space was wonderful - balcony, bbq, pool & hydro pool. The best thing we did was pay for the pool to be heated as in May it might have been chilly otherwise.The housekeep Effy is the most wonderful, kind and caring lady, looked after us and our daughter so well. The villa was cleaned 2 times during our stay with complete towel/bedding changes - incredible! We were glad of a hire car as it’s a steep walk up to the villa from the main strip, but the price you pay for incredible views from the villa. Close to local shops, restaurants, bars and the beach! Only 30 mins from the airport! We had the most relaxing stay and will most definately be back! Thank you!

I can't believe there's a place with such a beautiful ocean view in such an easy location from Crete's Chania International Airport.I can't find any words other than "overwhelmingly wonderful".The private pool is perfect for playing with toddlers, and it is fully equipped with floats and other amenities.Remote work by the poolside (including the Wi-Fi environment) was comfortable.The view of the sea towards Athens from the spacious terrace on the 2nd floor is superb, and in the first half of September, I was able to enjoy the fantastic sight of the moon rising around 9 pm and illuminating the sea.You can't enjoy YouTube or Netflix on the TV, but the time you can enjoy the terrace and pool is wonderful, so I don't think you need a TV.The host was always quick and kind, and the children were very happy with the delicious homemade bread and sweets.If you are coming from Chania International Airport by taxi, it is recommended that you ask the driver for a business card if you feel you can trust them, and ask them to help you with transportation during your stay.This is because there is a distance from this accommodation to the bus stop.I often go sightseeing in the old town, carry heavy luggage to the airport when I return home, and rely on taxis, so it's reassuring to know that I can predict when I'll need a ride.

Best place for holiday ever

We returned to the villa this year after a great stay in the same property last year . Love Stalos with its clean and sandy beach and selection of restaurants/bars and easy access to both Chania and Platanias when we fancied something a little busier…

Love Stalos with its clean and sandy beach and selection of restaurants/bars and easy access to both Chania and Platanias when we fancied something a little busier in the evenings. Villa was just as we remembered it, spotlessly clean with regular visits from Effie to ensure we had everything we needed and to keep it pristine. Pool is great on a hot summers day and loved the fantastic sea views from the balcony at sunset. It's a lovely stroll down the hill in the evening for dinner albeit treat yourself to a taxi on the way home unless you are feeling fit! Highly recommend this property and I am sure we will return again soon.

The villa is exactly as described except the photos don’t do it justice. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. We loved sitting on the balcony for breakfast and to have a drink. The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect for the hot July temperatures…

The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect for the hot July temperatures. The rooms were spacious and clean and it was great to have the living room and kitchen on the second floor separate from the bedrooms. Effie was there to greet us at check in and she was very sweet and helpful. You will want a car for this location as it is a long walk up some very steep hills to get from the Main Street to the property and I wouldn’t recommend walking in the heat. There are lots of markets and restaurants close by and it was only a short 15-20 min drive into Chania.

When we noticed an issue with the AC, it was fixed within just two hours—super responsive and professional!The location is great—close to the city of Chania, yet peaceful and relaxing and the Villa has everything you need. The outdoor area is a real highlight: spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for grilling and enjoying the Cretan evenings.We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was amazing and would definitely go back!

We were brought freshly, home picked cherries and we were made to feel so welcome throughout the whole stay! We were given support around taxis and things to do. Highly recommend!

Fantastic villa, we had a great stay.

The area is nice and quiet with a great view of the sea from the balcony. the hosts ensured we settled in and had enough towels for the pool as well as for showers. having our own private pool was another big win for us! thank you for being great hosts…

Highly recommended!

Everything about the house was according to expectations and definitely a place you can relax and enjoy if you don’t want to stay in the middle of the busiest areas. Effie, the housekeeper, is extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

Communication with our very friendly host was excellent at all times. The villas are very modern, luxurious and extremely clean, which is an absolute added value, especially in times of coronavirus! The outdoor areas with private pool, sunbeds, table tennis, barbecue and a small green area are also very clean and large. The private pool, which is illuminated at night, invites you to swim at night. Each villa has a wonderful view of the sea, which gives a wonderful atmosphere, especially in the evenings.

Michail and Effie were wonderful hosts. The property was clean and quiet, with beautiful north-facing views of the sea, and had plenty of room for storage. Our hosts even left a delicious bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine for us. Effie's hospitality and kindness in particular stood out, and made us feel even better about our stay. The hosts were also very accommodating and flexible with our check out time, since there were no guests checking in immediately after us. We would definitely book again here in the future, thank you Michail and Effie!

Our stay was idyllic

We struggled to find the villa initially - I think let people know you turn down the road just by the Rocky Pass mini golf. The villa was lovely, clean well laid out and well equipped as well as private with a lovely pool and great air conditioning! Effie was brilliant so helpful and responsive. Throughly recommend.
