Bohemian Retreat Η Κεφαλονιά, μια αγροικία του δέκατου ένατου αιώνα ανακαινίστηκε πλήρως το 2015 για να γίνει ένα πολυτελές καταφύγιο στην καρδιά του νησιού της Κεφαλονιάς. Περιτριγυρισμένο από περιποιημένους κήπους και ελαιώνες, το Bohemian Retreat θα σας περιποιηθεί με τους πολυτελείς εσωτερικούς του χώρους και τα περιποιημένα υπαίθρια σημεία του, ιδανικά για να απολαύσετε την άνετη ηρεμία του νησιού της Κεφαλονιάς.

Το εντυπωσιακό συγκρότημα δύο κτιρίων βρίσκεται γύρω από μια κεντρική αυλή και ένα μεγάλο αίθριο με ξαπλώστρες περιβάλλει την ιδιωτική πισίνα. Συγκεντρώστε χώρους μέσα στο οικόπεδο Bohemian Retreat, εναλλάξτε μεγαλύτερους χώρους και πιο οικείες θέσεις, επιτρέποντας την πλήρη απόλαυση της χαλάρωσης και της ευχαρίστησης που θα γίνει μια μόνιμη ανάμνηση του χρόνου σας εδώ.

Η κύρια κατοικία περιλαμβάνει ένα πολυτελές υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεβάτι με ιδιωτικό μπάνιο και τραπεζαρία με πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα. Το δεύτερο κτίριο είναι ένας ξενώνας που περιλαμβάνει δύο μονά κρεβάτια ή ένα διπλό κρεβάτι με ιδιωτικό μπάνιο.

Εξωτερικά, μπορεί να εκτιμηθεί το ιστορικό αρχιτεκτονικό στυλ της Κεφαλονιάς, αμετάβλητο ανά τους αιώνες. ενώ πλήρεις ανακαινίσεις το έχουν εμπλουτίσει με όλες τις σύγχρονες ανέσεις. Lovely place

We spend five great days in Bohemian Retreat. The garden and outdoor seating are the best. A lot of different places to enjoy the sun or shade. Great eye for detail on furniture and outdoor lighthning. Nice pool and fresh veggies from the garden. Indoors…

Great eye for detail on furniture and outdoor lighthning. Nice pool and fresh veggies from the garden. Indoors a bit more basic but nice. Spiros is a great host. recommend to go.

Bohemianretreat was a lovely hideaway in Kefalonia which we will absolutely book again. Great details, lovely garden and a great host - you cant ask for more! We could even take some veggies from the garden for our salad and had three little kitties…

We could even take some veggies from the garden for our salad and had three little kitties as friends which came along every night. We had a lovely time at Spyros' place. It really is a Bohemian retreat! Spyros left us some great wine and olive oil to use and gave some tips to explore the area. They even had a baby crib for my daughter, which was great. The house and pool are beautiful…

They even had a baby crib for my daughter, which was great. The house and pool are beautiful and there is a lovely vegetable garden. We would surely recommend this house for your vacation to Kefalonia!

This is a charming little property in a truly authentic Greek village away from the usual tourist hot spots. We loved: - the peace and tranquility and the chance to experience a stay in a small Greek village in the hills - the grounds are gorgeous, we used peppers, tomatoes, limes and walnuts from the garden in our cooking - the swimming pool and lounging areas outside are very relaxing - we had an outdoor movie night under the stars in the garden, Spyros came and set the projector up for us - the hospitality shown to us by Spyros at The Grand Hotel Argostoli was really appreciated, the food and cocktails at the hotel are great and the hotel are happy to organise taxis which are about 15 minutes each way from the property in to Argostoli and cost 20 euros each way - shopping for local produce in the fish and veg market/shops in Argostoli and cooking it back at the property - mid week clean and change of all the towels and bedding was unexpected but very good - Spyros was quick to respond to any queries e.g. WIFI code and sorted out a minor issue for us - feeding the cow on the land next door banana leaves from the garden and giving it some water, Spyros assured us it is looked after by someone in the village In our opinion: - car hire is essential, the village has no amenities apart from a small shop selling dried produce which is not enough to make a meal out of and only opened sporadically. - stock up with food and drink’ supplies before arriving, we had thought we would eat in the local taverna which is within walking distance but went for a drink to suss it out first and decided it was not somewhere we could eat, although the views were amazing. - the property is fairly small but just fine for the two of us, I think if the weather is bad and you need to spend time indoors it would be more difficult, as there are no comfortable lounging areas inside. Luckily for us we spent most of the time outdoors and only went inside to sleep and the bed is very comfortable.

A hidden gem in a great location

My partner and I cannot fault Spyros' Bohemian Retreat. It is such a beautiful villa & is a hidden gem in a great location. We had a car which was a must, traveled to Argostoli frequently which was only a 10 min drive away, and we also hit up Lourdas…
My partner and I cannot fault Spyros' Bohemian Retreat. It is such a beautiful villa & is a hidden gem in a great location. We had a car which was a must, traveled to Argostoli frequently which was only a 10 min drive away, and we also hit up Lourdas & Myrtos beaches which were both easy drives & well worth the visit! Spyros was a brilliant host who met us at his hotel in Argostoli once we had arrived, we then traveled to the villa together. He was always happy to help, responded so quickly & if he wasn't able to help us then he made sure somebody else could! We had such an amazing holiday, absolutely loved watches movies outside on the projector & hope to return to this Bohemian Retreat next year for more :) thank you Spyros! Jack & Catherine

When you look at Bohemian Retreat online, whatever your thoughts, however it looks, the actuality will exceed all of your expectations. Having been lucky enough to have travelled and indeed lived in many of the beautiful location in the world, there is now nowhere else we would rather be. Testimony to this we are going to come back in September. Kefalonia itself is absolutely stunning; although to be honest we found it difficult to leave our chic little Greek sanctuary. Not a sound can be heard as you lie on the hammock or read in the rocking chair. The wonderful peace is only broken by the musical chime of the church bells in the tiny village. Spyros, the owner, is extraordinarily helpful. If Spyros doesn’t know then it is not worth knowing. Spyros also owns the stunning Kefalonia Grand Hotel in Argostoli and a look at this website will give you a sense of someone who has a fantastic feel for design and style. Spyros has created something special from what was his Grandfathers small house. When you do eventually leave the house you are only 15 minutes’ drive to the sophisticated, but still wonderfully Greek, Argostoli (the capital). The choice of bars and restaurants is actually quite overwhelming while the atmosphere is great fun. Make sure you enjoy a drink on the patio of the Kefalonia Grand; which over looks the sea and yachting community. Great coffee there too. We had a car but Spyros also had a taxi on hand, whenever we wanted one, allowing us to enjoy a Gin and Tonic in the vibrant town. We cannot thank Spyros enough for welcoming us to his island and home and we look forward to spending many weeks here each year.

Really beautiful place to stay. Lovely restored property in a mountain village location, surrounded by lemon trees and secret garden areas all around. Very clean too. Spyros is a fantastic host and was super kind to us! The house is only 15 mins car journey from airport and 20 mins to Myrtos beach so ideal location. Would recommend this place to anyone but families with young children need to be aware of the fact the children sleep in a separate house to the parents.

We absolutely loved this place! It was so secluded, clean, well decorated and quiet. Spyros's garden with lettuce and fresh lemons added a nice touch. His place was stocked with nice necessities like water, jams, papertowels and coffee and tea. Spyros was the best part of this place as he was so friendly and went out of his way to help answer our questions and even helped us get a rental car. The town is is quaint and small, full of great little ruined houses fom long ago and well-kept ones.
