Wonderful Villa

We had the most wonderful holiday and week in Almyrida and in this Villa at the end of September. The Villa was just perfect, all what we wanted and more. The villa Villa is situated in a quiet place, but yet it´s very close to amenities and to Sea…
We had the most wonderful holiday and week in Almyrida and in this Villa at the end of September. The Villa was just perfect, all what we wanted and more. The villa Villa is situated in a quiet place, but yet it´s very close to amenities and to Sea, just a short walk down the hill. The scene from the Villa is amazing and calming. It was a huge pleasure to have a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening by the pool in the Villa and watch the mountains. Yes, the Villa also had a lovely pool to get refreshed during warm and sunny days. Could not have been better. And the Villa itself was spacious and clean, fully equipped, elegant and decorated with style, and we felt very comfortable staying also inside the Villa. I can highly recommend this Villa for having a memorable and relaxing vacation.

The villa is perfect for a family of four - we adults had the upstairs room with its own bathroom and balcony where we had our morning coffee, while the downstairs bed can be split into two for the kids. The house was exactly as nice as in the pictures…
The villa is perfect for a family of four - we adults had the upstairs room with its own bathroom and balcony where we had our morning coffee, while the downstairs bed can be split into two for the kids. The house was exactly as nice as in the pictures. Everything looked new and well maintained and clean and nice. The house is a good size with a lovely terrace. The house is well equipped with good beds, fine duvets, everything you need for kitchen equipment and easy laundry. If you want a house in Almyrida for four, this villa is highly recommended.

Thoughtful Luxury at the villa, we had an amazing 10-day stay and can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. The villa is immaculately maintained and beautifully presented, but what really sets it apart is the attention to detail. It goes far beyond the usual welcome of a fruit bowl and bottle of wine—every little touch had clearly been thought through with care and generosity. From makeup wipes in the bathroom to a bag for wet swimwear, frozen cup holders in the freezer, and a secure gated car port—the villa had everything we didn’t even know we needed. It’s luxury done right: quiet, tasteful, and incredibly thoughtful. A huge part of what made our stay so special was our concierge, Roula, who was absolutely brilliant. She handled every question and concern—from transport logistics to dinner reservations—with a personal touch that made us feel so well looked after. The villa was the perfect base for exploring both Chania and Rethymno old towns, where we enjoyed magical sunset dinners. We spotted turtles while pedalling across the serene waters of Lake Kournas, ate fire-grilled lamb by the waterfalls of Argyroupoli, indulged in superb seafood at Thalami Fish Taverna, at mother’s cheese pies at Lagos and learned about traditional olive oil production at the Mellisakis Mill. And while we visited a number of beaches, the evening we spent at the quiet one just a short stroll from the villa was truly unforgettable. The villa gave us the space to unwind, the comfort to feel at home, and the location to explore some of the most beautiful parts of Crete. Roula’s support made it even better. We’re already dreaming of a return visit.

Exceptional villa. Completely 5 * facilities. Spotlessly clean. Very large with everything you could want. Pool was fantastic. Views are the best in the whole town. 3 minutes to the little town and beach.
