Mitos Villas Chania - Mitos villas consists of two three-storey identical villas that can host up to 20 persons. They are placed in an olive grove just 600m from the beach. The villas offer a private outdoor space and a spacious swimming pool and a kiddie pool. You will get two Villas with a total space of 300m2. 

Each of the two villas , consists of two apartments which provide an ideal option for families with teenagers.

 

The space

You will get two Villas with a total space of 300m2.

The first apartment is 85 square meters and consists of a ground floor and an attic. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with a sitting space, a bathroom with a shower,a bedroom and a hall that provides ample storage as well as a washing machine. The king-size bedroom features exquisite mattress quality. A beauty dressing room with mirror and wardrobe complete the picture. The modern bathroom offers a shower and provides toiletries, a hair dryer and a full set of towels. From the sitting area, there is access to a spacious terrace which offers a view of the swimming pool and the garden. The kitchen looks out to the mountains and allows you to prepare all of your meals. The dining table has space for 4 people while the terrace table offers the option of dining for 8 people.

Going up the stairs, there is the attic with the second bedroom and its bathroom. This bedroom overlooks the surrounding olive grove and the swimming pools up to the sea. Its balcony provides a table with chairs and an umbrella under which you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view towards the sea or the mountains to the south.

The second apartment is 65 square meters and is located in the basement and has two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a living room with a l kitchen where you can cook, enjoy your meal and relax. It is built in a way which allows a lot of natural light to flood in while it is also cooler on warmer days.

Guest access

Mitos Villas Chania are placed in an olive grove in the village of Pirgos Psilonerou just 20 min away from the town of Chania. The nearest airport is Ioannis Daskalogiannis, which is a 35-minute drive. The port of Souda is within a 25 minutes drive. The villas are ideally situated to reach the beaches of Falasarna, Elafonisi and Balos.

A few days before your arrival, exact directions will be sent to you on how to reach the place. In case you need a transfer, you can contact us and we will take care of it.

 

Other things to bear in mind

- Both Villas are fully air-conditioned

- Cleaning service is provided for reservations longer than six days (on the third or fourth day of your stay). Otherwise, it is offered upon request and is charged extra.

- Mitos Villas Chania have private parking area with electric vehicle charging stations.

My seven friends and I rented the two Villas and we each had a comfortable queen bed to ourselves. We were all adults, but the place would be outstanding for families too. We loved the peaceful setting, and we rented bikes from a local company to make it easier to reach the nearest restaurants, markets, etc. We took great advantage of the lovely pool, spacious kitchens, charcoal grill, scenic outdoor eating areas, and ping-pong table. Watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee and a view of the ocean from the top story balcony was unforgettable.Through it all, the manager and owner were incredible hosts. Manto was responsive from start to finish. The owner, Michalis, was staying in the third building on the property the entire time, but was unseen when we didn't need him and very helpful when we did. They provided great local recommendations and Michalis even gave us veggies from his garden. The perfect vacation!

The villas are beautiful, we loved both the outside as well as the inside. Whatever we needed was available. I loved the mattress, I had the best sleep! Everything we needed was within walking distance, the super market, restaurants, the beach. The pool is pristine, each day was more fun than the previous. We also took a trip to Falassarna and Balos, both of which you must see! Highly recommend!

Stayed with a group of friends for the month of October. The villas are amazing. Plenty of room in the kitchen / living room to cook, watch movies, and chill. The patios are absolutely amazing for enjoying the weather, snacking, and hanging out. There's also the pool area. It's huge and great for swimming laps. It's even better than the photos especially at night when the lights come on. Fantastic location, short drive or walk from a bunch of different restaurants, bakeries, and the beach. Michalis and Poly are the best. They live next door and are always available to help with anything you might need. They helped us arrange deliveries, rides to the airport, brought us a bunch of pastries and home made food. At the end of our stay, they cooked us a lamb over an open fire at the back of the property - it was probably the best lamb I've ever had. If you're looking for a place in the area, would highly recommend.

Beach is at walking distance, it has few nice shops in the area. 20 min drive from Chania. Would recommend.

We stayed with a group of friends infor about one week in September. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was how spectacular the villa was. The rooms were clean, comfortable and we had all the appointments in the spacious kitchens which allowed us to prepare meals either separately (two kitchens per villa) or together as a large group. There's also a grill in the back that we used to prepare fresh seafood from a nearby supermarket. Then there's the pool area- it's even more spectacular than the photos, especially at sunset, or in the evening when the lights come on. The location is nothing short of perfect. A fairly short drive from the airport you'll find yourself within walking distance to a bakery, numerous restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It's a great place to be yourself exploring the area with wineries and a craft brewery just a short and scenic drive away. Several world class beaches and hiking trails are a little further out but well worth exploring. We even managed to catch a local soccer match in Chania. The owner Michalis and his wife live next door but give all the privacy you need while being available for advice or to help with anything you need. On our final night he cooked us a delicious lamb roast on an open fire. I can still taste it! Really, or biggest problem was not wanting to leave. If you want to see Crete with a group of family and friends, this place will not disappoint.

A group of 12 friends stayed for 6 days, using these villas as a base to explore the area. Upon arrival Manto let us in, showed us around and had even baked us a cake. The pool and surrounding grounds of the villa were beautiful. The kitchens were well equipped, bedrooms and bathrooms spotless and all furniture was quite comfortable. Plenty of towels provided for all guests - great since the beach was only a 10 minute walk. The laundry machine worked well with racks to hang dry our clothes in the afternoon sun. The villas are located a short drive west of Chania, with a bakery and plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. Supermarkets are only a five minute drive away. The villas are also located near fantastic wineries, spectacular beaches and anything else you could want for a fantastic holiday. The owner was very friendly and responsive if we ever had any questions. He even offered to cook us a roast lamb for our last night. Thanks again Michalis for an unforgettable holiday.

My group had an amazing stay at these Villas. The hosts Michalis and Polly are so kind! They brought us treats and did an incredible lamb roast for us toward the end of our stay. They were always available by phone and quick to help us even providing baking utensils for our group that way our friends could bake a cake for their son’s first birthday. So generous and kind hearted. Best host I have ever had. We couldn’t be more grateful. The villa itself is well appointed in a beautiful relaxed area, just a quick walk to the beach, a quick walk to bakeries and shops nearby. We didn’t want for anything.

We came to the villas for my 50th with a group of 12. The place was gorgeous. The pool was perfect. We drove there from Chania airport but didn't need to use the car every day. You can walk to the beach, bakery, supermarket and many restaurants. We took 2 of the villas and the owner, Michalis, had the 3rd. He came to clean the pool every day and was there when we needed but never intruded. He offered a delicious full barbecued lamb meal on the last night and it was amazing. And very affordable. If we had a question, Michaelis or Manto were quickly to respond. We stayed for a week and they organised a cleaning service half way through. Great, friendly service. Would be happy to return.

The cost was reasonable, also let us use the pool after hours has, kept our pool lights on trough out the night . After all I would definitely recommend this villa and the hosted. The villas are spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you need. The pool is gorgeous, very clean and perfect for relaxing or swimming. The outdoor area with a large dining table and BBQ was ideal for family dinners. The location is peaceful, surrounded by olive trees. A truly relaxing stay with excellent facilities and warm hospitality – we can’t wait to come back!

The villas are an amazing place to enjoy the peace and quiet in a place that is very beautifully located and hidden in an olive grove. The houses are new, clean, wonderfully decorated, the kitchen has everything you need while the bedrooms have a wonderful mattress to enjoy your sleep. The outside area is covered with a large wooden dining table that has an amazing view of the pool. The pool is very large and spotlessly clean, you enjoy a wonderful swim in it. There is enough parking space and a comfortable BBQ to grill whatever you want with your friends. I had a great time there and I am sure I will come again next year with my friends!

The villa was beautifully designed and set a great tone for my stay. My villa was spacious, immaculate, and had stunning views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had restful nights. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like complimentary snacks and a well-stocked kitchen. The villas amenities were top-notch.
