Villa Odem Chania is located in the coastal village of Almirida east of Chania, on Crete island. In the green nature of Apokoronas and near the amazing beaches of the prefecture, the villa is perfect for relaxation and tranquility. The beach is 100 meters away, and nearby you will find pharmacies, gas stations, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants.

It is built on a plot of 500 meters and outdoor spaces are designed to offer privacy and functionality. Its construction began in 2000 and since then renovated frequently, it consists of two independent floors 60 and 80 sqm and can accommodate up to 6 people (+2 on demands). The two floors are connected by outside stairs and overlook the swimming pool and garden. Alimedon Villa Chania is fenced and access to the pool is closed by a door so that your kids are safe. It is fully furnished and with all appliances. In the summer months, you can taste from our garden fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.

Villa Odem Chania consists of 2 levels connected by outside stairs: On the ground floor, there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a bed for two and 1 bedroom with 2 twin single beds. There is also a bathroom, kitchen, and sitting area. On the first floor, there is 1 bedroom with bed for two, bathroom, kitchen and sitting area.

From communication about the booking to the time of departure... Natasha, the owner, was absolutely incredible. The perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful welcome pack including a home-made cake and cookies later in the week too! The house is absolutely wonderful with several balconies and a gorgeous private pool area. The house has everything you need. The upper floor is a separate area with its own front door, but that suited our needs perfectly for our older teenage son - who still socialised and ate with us downstairs. Very short walk to a lovely small seaside town, Almyrida. The town is a good location for exploring the Western and central part of Crete. Great views of the surrounding mountains from the balconies. We only stayed 8 nights. Crete is a large island to explore and we definitely want to return to see more of it. We really hope we can stay at this wonderful house next time we visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the villa! Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The villa was spotless and well-maintained, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Its location couldn’t have been more perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, supermarket, and even the bus station, which made getting around so easy.The yard was stunning, offering a peaceful and relaxing space to enjoy, especially by the pool. A special mention to our host, Natassa, who was incredibly welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable. She was attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We are so grateful for her hospitality!

The villa was perfectly located, just a few minutes walk to the beach and all the shops, bars and restaurants. The kitchens were very well equipped and beds very comfy with lots of towels and spare blankets. Natassa was lovely and greeted us personally…
The villa was perfectly located, just a few minutes walk to the beach and all the shops, bars and restaurants. The kitchens were very well equipped and beds very comfy with lots of towels and spare blankets. Natassa was lovely and greeted us personally on arrival. She took the time to show us around and explained how to use all the equipment. She came and cleaned the villa and pool areas mid week, and even left a gift for our 3 year old grandaughter! The layout of the villa, a two bedroomed flat below a one bedroom one, was perfect for our purposes. The welcome pack was lovely too.

If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Almirida, you should stop here and book this villa. This place has absolutely everything for ideal holiday time with family. The pool and garden are beautifuly maintained and Villa itself is so spacious (two separate apartments in case you are going. with grandparents:)) and has everything we could think of- starting from towels, kitches equipments, baby crib and chair to even socket protection! Our host Natassa was very friendly, gave us lots of tips and welcomed us with snacks and local pies for breakfast. We totally recommend this place, so far it was the best place we have ever stay during our travells in Europe. Totally amazing!

Relaxing holidays at a comfortable villa

Our booking of the property was smooth and without worries and received prompt answers from any queries or questions we raised prior to the holiday. When we arrived the owner was there to greet us and she was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. The villa is divided into two apartments with upstairs having one double bedroom and huge balconies to sit out on and eat the apartment was immaculate and the kitchen had more gadgets and amenities to cook with than any other villa I have stayed in and there was a lovely welcome basket of goodies and a supply of juice milk bread butter jams ham biscuits coffee and tea and more...which was fabulous!! The apartment was spacious and comfortable the pool area again immaculately clean as was the pool. The bbq area on the other side was brilliant and we used this a couple of times during our stay. Our friends who had the downstairs apartment could only echo our thoughts on ours the only difference being that they had a double and a twin room but it was equally spacious and well equipped. We had a lovely holiday and would book the villa again should we choose to holiday in that area of Crete again.

The Villa was great for us set over 2 levels with the downstairs apartment being 2 bedrooms and the upstairs being 1, it meant as a mixed family myself & my partner could have privacy upstairs and still be all together. The outside staircase wasn't a problem but would have been for the older members of the family. The Villa owner is so lovely she met us and showed us everything we needed to know and was always on hand to help, she even left us an air pump upon seeing we had inflatables with us, she brought us pastries from the Bakery which were amazing! She came to clean & do the bins once in a week too which was great. She was also there when we left to help with the bags. The outdoor eating area around the back is also great, Location is FANTASTIC Would definitely visit again!!

The villa was everything we hoped it would be and more. We had a fantastic stay. The pool and outside area is very nice and neat, and we enjoyed playing in the pool and relaxing on the sunbeds. Perfect for the kids. The house is plenty big and has lots of places to sit outdoors on balconies and terraces. Our eldest moved into the apartment on the second floor so he got the space and privacy a teenager craves, while our youngest had her own room next to the grown-ups. The house was clean and nice and we found all we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. Plenty of towels for the bathroom and beach. The host was very welcoming and came by during the week to keep the pool and also to clean the house halfway through our stay. The beach and restaurants are only a short walk from the house. The beach is not big, but very nice, and not too crowded. We always found a good spot. Lots of restaurants with the variation you would expect to find in a small Greek holiday town. We found nice activities in the area. A boat trip with snorkeling and trip to Lake Kournas was very fun. The bigger cities Chania and Rethymno is also not too far away, we liked the latter best. The villa is a great place to stay and both the Villa and host will meet your expectations and more.

The Villa is two self contained apartments in a villa type house. On the raised lower floor is a two bedroom apartment with double bed and two singles. On upper floor is a one bedroom apartment with large covered terrace.Both apartments have good WI FI .Both are linked by external staircase. The whole property is fenced and so is the fabulous pool area so is safe for children. The owners who look after the villa keep the place spotlessly clean and make sure you have a great holiday. Every day essentials are provided such as toilet paper, washing up liquid, washing powder, plus a welcome pack to get you started. They are perfect for a large family group or friends. Only 2 minutes walk to all amenities including shops,restaurants and beach. All the beach front restaurants have great value food and can highly recommend Epis in Plaka village. If we return to western Crete we will certainly go back to this villa.
