So much space and even includes a private pool and a fully equipped pool dining area/kitchen which we thoroughly utilized the whole stay. The villa location is very central but a car is essential but is also ideal for exploring farther afield if you choose to. (note. roads and traffic can get a little bit ‘exciting’ in and around the city of Heraklion at peak times) . The host is as welcoming and amiable as they come. For our stay, arranged car hire, provided a personal greeting and introduction, guided us to the local supermarket on arrival, and was always on hand to simply arrange taxis or recommend the best places to eat. All in all a really nice relaxed week away and hard to fault.

Great modern and clean house!

Slightly off the beaten track which is great for peace and tranquility. You have to travel a bit to get to the good beaches but there are great beaches within 30 min drives.

First of all: The host is the ideal host and his role in making our vacation unforgettable cannot be overstated: extremely friendly, available at all times, had perfect tips, fully committed to the "no stress for guests" idea. Even though we arrived quite late (and with a bit of delay), guided us to a very nice takeaway and then accompanied us to the villa where fresh fruit, orange juice, and drinking water were already provided. He even managed to get us a coffee machine of our choice (in addition to the one already present)! He was even put to the test by an extended power outage (caused by the power supplier) and he managed it brilliantly! Secondly: the villa is very clean, the rooms are spacious, the swimming pool has the perfect size for a family and is fighting for the top "attraction" spot with the pool table, and the summer kitchen is a very useful addition to the already extended package. Speaking of the swimming pool, the hedges around it are offering the perfect degree of privacy.

We have just returned from our 2nd visit to Villa Sunny. We first visited the villa last year and we're already planning our 3rd visit! The villa is extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. The villa is exactly how you expect it's going to be from the pictures, it doesn't disappoint and certainly has the wow factor! The grounds are secluded, private and well maintained. The villa allows us to switch off from the rest of the world and relax as a family without getting in each other's way as there's plenty space for everyone. But what really makes the stay at Villa Sunny extra special is Petros! He's only a text away should you need him for anything no matter how big or small. But it's the care he shows his guests, he's a marvellous host!

The villa was fantastic from the moment we arrived, the electric gates rolled back and we were taken in by the private, beautiful, well-equipped stunning villa. This place is superb and Petros is spot on with getting the balance right of being available…

This place is superb and Petros is spot on with getting the balance right of being available to help with anything and everything and very discreet at the same time giving you total privacy. Can't recommend this place enough. You will need a car.

Absolutely amazing villa, excellent host!

The villa is really amazing and wonderful. It is spotless clean and has more than you would wish for! The beds are perfect, the space around the house is amazing, the outdoor kitchen has really everything you need! Swimming pool is great also, sunbeds…

I cannot recommend this property highly enough. It is out of this world! Even better and bigger than it appears in the photos. Petros was such a lovely host and was always at the end of the phone to help us with anything, including suggestions on what to do in Crete. The pool is beautiful, the house is gorgeous and quiet... You need a hire car but the house is well-placed to reach lots of the major sites in Crete.

I would highly recommend this villa :)

This villa is fantastic, it is beautifully maintained, clean and tidy and everything you want for your holiday. We stayed at the villa for 10 nights and the cleaner came 3 times to change our towels and clean the entire villa. There is air conditioning…
This villa is fantastic, it is beautifully maintained, clean and tidy and everything you want for your holiday. We stayed at the villa for 10 nights and the cleaner came 3 times to change our towels and clean the entire villa. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms aswell as the outside kitchen. The pool is a great size and the pool table added more fun to our stay. Pedros is such a great guy! He is friendly and will do anything to ensure you have a fantastic holiday. He met us at the airport so we could follow him back to the villa. He helped sort our car rentals too :) Pedros was in contact throughout our stay offering places to visit, local beaches, restaurants etc. Nothing was too much trouble. He even managed to book us a table at one of the best restaurants in Heraklion for my mums birthday. Heraklion it’s self is only 10/15 minutes away in the car which was great for evenings out. The beach was only 15 minutes away too.

Truly amazing

The villa was very clean, peaceful, private, comfortable beds, blinds were exceptional (pitch black in the midday sun), well presented, kitchen was fully equipped and for those that can't be disconnected to the outside world the WiFi was extremely reliable…
The villa was very clean, peaceful, private, comfortable beds, blinds were exceptional (pitch black in the midday sun), well presented, kitchen was fully equipped and for those that can't be disconnected to the outside world the WiFi was extremely reliable throughout the whole house (we encountered no dead spots) and fast. I don't think words can describe Petros's hospitality he was very welcoming and a thoughtful host, a true credit to the Cretan people and airbnb.

The house is the same than the pictures. Petros was always available and he helped us with questions and recommendations. He has a very very nice home and we were very comfortable and enjoyed with his swimming pool and barbacue. All space were very clean…
