Everything about this villa is superb, from the view to the amazing outdoor space, the very useful welcome pack and Rubina the maid’s daily visits. The villa is conveniently close to the airport (4 minutes drive) which is very handy if you’re landing after midnight as we did. The planes do not disturb the tranquility but rather offer an occasional diversion. Kefalonia is a fantastic destination with so many beautiful beaches to explore and the island remains unspoilt. Highlights for us were a trip to Assos and Myrtos Beach and an amazing meal at Anemos Taverna at Kaminia beach. Definitely hope to return to the island and villa soon.

What can I say about this villa...simply stunning! If you’re after a place with an incredible view, a fantastic pool and amazing outdoor areas then look no further! The villa has a very private feel to it considering it’s only a couple of minutes drive from the airport. You have an unspoilt vista of the Ionian Sea to yourselves! The interior is spotless and maintained daily by the lovely maid Rubina. It is equipped with everything a family could ever need. The host Elina is so thoughtful, welcoming and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

A beautiful, clean and modern villa with an absolutely stunning view. The villa is very spacious inside and outside. It was impeccably clean and a lady came to clean the house every day. She even made the beds and did any washing up we had left. The beds are very comfortable, towels were provided for the showers and another set for the pool. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. You can’t meet a swim in the pool while watching the sunset. It’s worth pointing out that the jacuzzi is not heated. We stayed in October, the pool temperature was cold but “ok once you’re in” and we did make use of it every day. The sea temperature was much warmer. Although the villa is located just a couple of miles from the airport, we hardly noticed any planes coming and going and on the few occasions we noticed our little ones loved watching them take off. We really appreciated the fact that the villa was situated just a outside a town as it made it so much more peaceful and relaxing. You will need to rent a car with this villa. The nearest town Lassi is about a 5 minute drive and has so many nice restaurants, a couple of convenience shops and a fantastic large sandy beach with both free and charged sunbeds and umbrellas. Another 5-10 minutes on is Argostoli, the capital. We will definitely come back to this villa!

We loved our stay at Villa Alexandra and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our week in Kefalonia. I was going to write a more detailed review but the reviewer below has said everything I was going to – the villa is in a great location (perfect for exploring the island or laying by the pool all day), very well equipped, stylish, modern and spacious. Don’t hesitate in booking and if you have any queries e-mail the villa owners who were so friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. We would have no hesitation in coming back!

Excellent info in run up to stay from owner and meet on on arrival. Villa superb, quiet and private and met our exact needs for 6 adults. Stayed for 7 nts with our family for 25th wedding anniversary. Villa is well equipped, modern, spacious and tastefully decorated. Pool and jacuzzi lovely in well kept gardens with exterior sun deck, patio, bbq area and outside seating for six. Views beautiful of sea, nearby islands and evening sunsets, although only 10 mins for airport you don't notice it really. Good places to eat only 10 mins away or travel to Agostoli, which is 15 mins away, for quay side dining plus restaurants in main square and shopping. You must visit Fiskardo, even though it's a trek, plus Mytros beach, dramatic views on coast road back to Agostoli, both are very beautiful, Skala beach is good also. Tips - you need a car and access is via very steep hill but don't let this put you off!

After a short drive from the airport we arrived at villa Alexandra, where we were warmly greeted by Alexandra and Rubina bearing fresh fruit and flowers. The kitchen was stocked with a selection of refrigerated items, bread and crackers along with a welcome bottle of wine. The villla is beautiful with great views and and an amazing pool with jacuzzi looking out to sea.Rubina kept everything immaculately clean, regular sheet changes and fresh towels, without intruding, the beds are really comfortable and the pillows a dream. It is airy and spacious, we were a group of 4 adults and two teenagers, there was room for us all to sunbathe or chill out and there are plenty of shady spots to relax out of the sun. Ate out at Vinaries, Casa grec Sto Psito and Paparrazzi, a fabulous little italian just off Argostoli square. The local eaterie Dum Spiros is good but for a special night Vinaries just along the Piccolo Giro out of Argostoli is great. Must recommend the nearby supermarket saggitarius super friendly staff with help choosing wines, the bakery at Peratata and buy your fruit and veg from the waterside market in Argostoli, you can catch the turtles swimming while you are there. Local cat and his heavily pregnant wife, were regular visitors and were both given affectionate names, he tends to leave cat dribble if you leave the sunbed cushions out at night. We had a fantastic week here and would highly recommend it. Top tip hang any open food, bread crisps cracker etc, from the curtain poles in the kitchen or the ants will get in.

This is a great villa, perfect for families and groups alike. Its well maintained and equipped, very close to the airport - but far enough away not to be affected by the arrivals and departures, at least for us it didn't have an impact. While the interior is well furnished, its the outside space that is the real winner and if like us you spend most of your time outside then you can't ask for a better setting with great views and pool/jacuzzi. Cleaned daily and our rooms were tidied also. Although its located just a few kilometers from the airport and shops, you will probably struggle without a car or some form of transport (scooter is perfect for travelling around the local area and island) due to the steep hill its located on - this is probably the only thing you will need to take into consideration when booking. On the flip side you wouldn't get views like you do if you were not on such a hill! its just 10mins drive to the capital Argostoli and all the amenities and restaurants there, with Lassi, the largest local resort with the best beach in the area (Makris Gialos) also on the same road about 7 mins drive away. Highly recommended!
