Irini Villa Chania - Escape to authentic Crete in this charming traditional villa with a private pool, nestled in the picturesque village of Armenoi. Surrounded by nature and olive groves, it offers the perfect blend of relaxation and local culture, just minutes from village tavernas and only a short drive from Kalyves Beach and Chania.

Irini Villa Chania has been built high on the outskirts of the village, and all rooms are on one level making it the ideal place for families. Furthermore, the design of the villa allows a high level of independence between the rooms; great for two families for example. Irini Villa Chania is a renovated traditional Cretan house with its original thick stone walls, blending modern materials and techniques with tradition to create unique objects such as the bed in one of the bedrooms which began its life as a loom for making rugs and blankets.

Outside, the swimming pool is large and sports a child section surrounded by stone-paved sunbathing areas and gardens. A beautiful stone build BBQ awaits the inspiring chefs to prepare the food for friends and family, living unforgettable moments in the great outdoors of Crete.

Armenoi is a lovely, quiet Greek village. The villa is in a quiet location with fantastic views of the mountains. The local tavernas are very friendly and the food is excellent. The pool guy and cleaner visit regularly so everything is kept very clean. Can't fault the villa, it has everything you need. The welcome food/drink hamper was fabulous. It's barely 10 minutes to the lovely beach & restaurants at Kalyves. Would definitely recommend. Would definitely go back!

Lovely villa. We were a family of 4. Plenty of bedroom space, 3 bathrooms, Lovely outside area with the pools. We found the pools fine unheated in mid/end of October, but we're used to the sea in the UK. Great communication from Nikos, cleaner came twice a week, it was spotless. Would absolutely book it again.

A beautiful villa in the lovely village of Armenoi. We had a very peaceful and relaxing two weeks here. The outdoor space is amazing: we enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi every day and lounging among the fig and mulberry trees in the garden. The indoor rooms were also great. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated having three very efficient showers, as we were travelling with our adult children! The villa was cleaned to a very high standard twice a week. Nikos, the owner was great at communicating with us and we knew we could contact him if needed. He also kindly left some wine, water and snacks for our arrival. The location of the villa is perfect. There are two wonderful cafes in the village, two great restaurants - one ‘slow-food’ and one more traditional, both recommended - and a supermarket, plus the friendliest cats in Greece! There are loads of sandy beaches nearby (e.g. Kiani Akti) if you have a car. There is also a pretty shingle beach, with a concrete pier for jumping off, ten minutes drive away in Kalami.

A very nicely renovated traditional Cretan village house at the top of the hill in the village of Armenoi. The single house is devided into two units: a 2 BR / 2 Bath room + Kitchen unit, and a second smaller 1BR/ 1 Bath room + Lounge. The house is situated on a private plot with a gated parking bay, and provides near perfect privacy. We were there during some very hot days, and spent most time in or by the pool, eating, sleeping, pool, rest, pool, BBQ, repeat. It provided an almost perfect stay, so good that we spent most of our time kicking back at the villa rather than roaming the Island :-) The place is well equipped for a comfortable stay, and the owner even went to the length of bringing in a Smoothie machine, once he learned that my wife is a healthfood nut. All BR's have AC, and the beds have all been recently upgraded. Very Nice, Great Stay, we will defently return and Highly Recomended!

Excellent communication with the owner. Very good service, very clean in the house and in the pool area, both inside and out. Very good, quiet and scenic location with a 10-minute walk to the village. There you can find everything you need, including fresh baked goods and fresh fruit for breakfast. Parking on the property, which is very nicely laid out. Nice shady terrace area. Excellent kitchen equipment. We felt very comfortable at any time of day!

The villa is in a beautiful location in a cul-de-sac in the mountain of the small village of Armeni. Everything is well-maintained, clean, and atmospheric. All the sanitary features are very well maintained including the kitchen. The dishwasher equipped and the sleeping areas are well maintained. The grill worked great and charcoal and lighter were provided. Communication with host was excellent, very helpful and attentive. A car is essential if you want to go to the sea (8 min. travel time to Kalyves).

Very comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. We appreciate the fruits and cake when we arrived and the Olive Oil and Raki. Host was really kind and helpfull! The house is very confortable, well equiped and the guest house nice! Thanks very much !

We had a really great time!

Lovely place, nice pool and really nice location. In the village there is a nice outdoor restaurant with a great local vibe. Eleni was incredibly reactive and helpful with great local tips and tricks! Would recommend!

Loved our stay here!

Perfect for a quiet stay in the country. We spent most of our time on the outside patio as the weather was beautiful. Walking into town was easy and full of lots of cute restaurants! We also had fun swimming in the pool, very refreshing on a hot day.
