We are still completely thrilled today!

We, 3 adults aged 92 to 44 and a teenager, 16 years old, were guests at the villafrom October 19 to November 3. The host was already waiting for us in the villa on the day of our arrival, gave us the house keys and explained everything to us in detail…
We, 3 adults aged 92 to 44 and a teenager, 16 years old, were guests at the villafrom October 19 to November 3. The host was already waiting for us in the villa on the day of our arrival, gave us the house keys and explained everything to us in detail. His wife served us a Cretan dish to welcome us. The house corresponds exactly to the description and the pictures. The villa stands on a slope and is divided into 3 levels. The lowest level has a full kitchen, living room with TV and bedroom with box spring beds and adjoining shower room and washing machine. After stepping out of the living room you are on a covered terrace with a view of the swimming pool and sun loungers. There are also tables and chairs to the left and right as well as a chill-out area. To the left of the terrace is the covered BBQ area with charcoal grill and a dining corner with table and chairs. We had a barbecue here every evening and stayed until the early evening. On the second level there is another fully equipped kitchen, living room with TV, terrestrial and internet programs as well as streaming services as well as two separate balconies and a fantastic view of the bay of Loutraki Beach and a bedroom with a separate shower room. It is quite unique when large cruise ships pass the villa in the evening in full lighting on their way to the port of Chania. The house entrance door is also on the second level. There is enough space in front of the house for several rental cars. The two levels are also secured with a lockable railing (child safety lock), so that sufficient privacy is guaranteed when used by two families. On the top level there are two further bedrooms (one with two separate beds and one with a king-size bed) and a shower room. All rooms are very stylishly furnished. The kitchens are well equipped with kitchen appliances, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves as well as dishes. The location of the villa is perfect as it is very quiet and only a few kilometers from the airport and shopping facilities. The landlord, Mr. Evangelos Lagouvardos, is on site every second or third day to clean the pool and water and keep the garden tidy. He gave us great shopping information. We had a fantastic BBQ evening with the landlord couple.  We felt very comfortable as guests and will certainly be guests of Mr Evangelos Lagouvardos and his wife again in the near future. We wish all readers of this review a wonderful vacation on Crete. Stay healthy and enjoy the Greek hospitality and joie de vivre.

Very nice host. If someone is looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. Beautiful view from the terrace and the yard. Large parking space, even for three cars. Three bathrooms and two large living rooms provide comfort for large groups. There were 7 of us, four adults and three teenagers, so there was no problem in the evenings; everyone found a place, whether at the pool or barbecue, or inside. The internet was impeccable. We had our own bus, so getting to the various destinations we wanted to visit was easy. The host recommended us a typical Greek restaurant about 8 minutes away. Barbatonis car. I recommend !!

Great snorkeling opportunities, warm cove, and Loutraki beach just a swim away.The house is undisturbed, but a rental car is needed to get to the shop. The kitchen has all the equipment you need, and air conditioning in all rooms made the nights cool and comfortable. Evangelos came and cleaned the pool, the water and checked that we had everything we needed every other day, so we were taken care of very well.We can highly recommend this villa, and hope we will have the opportunity to come back in the future.

The house is superb, very large with 4 half levels which allows everyone to have their privacy. Two kitchens and two living rooms. The exteriors are very beautiful: a pergola shelters the pretty barbecue area with a large table; another table under the terrace and another above with the spectacular view. We love having choices. The large palm tree is a blessing for swimming in the shade. A small path leads to the rocks where you can dive into the blue water. Magic! And not far from welcoming taverns for evening meals. And above all the kindness of Evangelos and his wife. Thank you so much!!

The house is very nicely located, with fantastic views of the sea. Pool and also private access to the sea one-time. The property is equipped with everything you need for self-catering. Good tavern approx. 5 min drive . Supermarket (Lidl) about 25 min away . We felt very comfortable in the house, also the air conditioning is great. There is a way to eat in the shade for any time of the day, just great. We will be happy to come back.

There was lots of space, beds were very comfortable, lots of useful amenities, the host was very helpful and friendly, and the villa itself is in a beautiful location. You even have a short path from the villa itself to the cliffside where you can jump for a swim or just sit and relax while enjoying the view. If you want to visit Chania there is a nearby bus stop from Marathi beach (a 15-20 min walk). For other locations you'll need to rent a car or use a taxi service. The restaurant near Loutraki Beach (12-15 min walk) called Peri Orexeos is a great place to eat with great tasting food, superb service, and good prices.

Amazing- would love to go back!

This was a fabulous villa- large, spacious and very clean. The owner had left the keys for us near the door. He also left us a pie and beers which was fantastic as we arrived very ;ate and no restaurants were open near the villa

It is located in a bay which you can access the sea from the bottom of the garden, it is rocky so I would advise taking rock shoes with you and there are some great places to dive or jump into the sea. The swimming pool was great and the scenery was awe inspiring you could see the mountains clearly and the sunset in the evening was spectacular. The host Evangelos met us when we arrived and showed us around and was very knowledgeable about the area about where to shop, good restaurants and recommended places of interest to see. All in all a great holiday, you will need a car to get out and about as it’s off the beaten track.

The villa and pool were big enough for 9 people and the view was amazing. The beach below the house was beautiful, but it was rocky, so we walked to Marathi beach every time (10 min walk) where there was a sandy beach. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
