Villa Polyxena Amaliapoli es una villa de lujo en alquiler con 8 habitaciones y piscina privada. La propiedad, que consta de la casa principal y una casa de invitados, se encuentra en un terreno en terrazas que desciende hasta el mar, donde se ofrecen a los huéspedes dos embarcaderos; uno de madera para que atraquen los barcos y otro de hormigón vestido con tumbonas y una bonita zona de sombra con asientos acolchados.

Una diminuta playa de arena junto al embarcadero es ideal para niños pequeños, mientras que a otras pequeñas playas de guijarros se accede a través de un sendero. La casa también tiene una piscina rodeada de césped, una cancha de tenis externa, equipo de windsurf y una lancha rápida a pedido. Diseñada para seguir el contorno de la colina sobre la que está construida, la villa ofrece amplias habitaciones, terrazas y balcones en abundancia y, sobre todo, hermosas vistas del agua y la playa 30 m más abajo. Unos escalones bajan a través del jardín hasta la piscina y luego continúan hasta la orilla.

Las terrazas envolventes ofrecen diferentes áreas para sentarse, comer y descansar para un gran grupo de personas. La villa siempre está en proceso de renovación, aunque manteniendo el concepto original que conserva el estilo Pelión de tejas hechas a mano, paredes encaladas, balcones y techos de madera y pisos de piedra. El espacio, la privacidad y la cercanía al mar hacen de esta una casa ideal para relajarse en familia o con amigos.

La casa está totalmente protegida con cámaras de videovigilancia exteriores y un sistema de alarma. En el cercano aeropuerto de Volos, hay vuelos desde Londres (dos veces por semana), París, Viena, Bruselas, Amsterdam, Munich y Düsseldorf (una vez por semana). A 1 km de la villa también hay un helipuerto. También encontrará un club de playa a 300 metros de la villa.

Apart from the beauty of the villa and the meticulous grounds, what we enjoy most is the atmosphere it provides, this feeling of coming home. Our most memorable moments are those spent on the boat taking tours to the neighboring islands and swimming in the hundreds of little bays nearby. My husband is an avid boats man and enjoys to explore different places every time we go, always remembering the last place he has been. We have our favorite spots to go to and always return to the marvelous restaurant “Manolis” in Trikeri which in our opinion should be world famous! The simple beauty and tranquility of this small fishing village provides the perfect remedy to recharge from a fast paced New York lifestyle. There is no doubt that Villa Polyxena has become our preferred destination hands down and we always look forward to returning.

The villa was beautiful with amazing art work and a classical Greek design. The staff kept it very clean and took pride in their work. We loved that we had beverages waiting for us upon our arrival and fresh cut flowers in our spacious rooms. The most stunning aspect of all was the fact that the sea was just under out toes. Every room had a view and we literally (as it was described) fell into the inviting sea every morning. There are not many villas in the world that can provide this kind of comfort and access to the sea. Needless to say our family spent the majority of our time on the jetty and small private beach. We hired Jacopo the captain to take us out on several excursions on the speed boat and discovered beautiful little bays just minutes from the villa with breathtaking water. We even went to Skiathos and Skopolos one day and saw the famous “Mama Mia” bays where they filmed many scenes of their movie. Never before have we seen water so clean and so blue not to mention warm! Amazingly for August there was very few boats and people—a breath of fresh air considering all the tourism and boats that we would have had to contend with in Mykonos!! We often ended our sea excursions returning to the pool and unwinding with a nice long sauna. The highlights of our days was dinner by candle light under the stars
