Ionian Sea View Villas Kefalonia are 2 luxury villa rentals with 4 bedrooms and 2 private pools. Ionian Sea View Luxury Villas is situated in the southern part of the island of Kefalonia, in the village of Platies, above the seaside. The complex includes two luxury villas; Οdysseus and Penelope. The villas have different designs and decoration styles, inspired by the greek Ionian beauty. Each villa has a private pool and is fully equipped with the necessities required for an unforgettable relaxing stay.

From every aspect of the complex, the visitor will enjoy an amazing view: From the south, the Ionian sea dominates, whereas from the north, the highest part of mountain Ainos. The natural beauty of the island of Kefalonia, combined with the privileged location of the villas as well as the luxury and the picturesque surroundings, guarantee to offer you memorable, lovely moments.

Villa Odysseus is the villa on the right part of the complex, while you are looking at the sea and the villa Penelope is the one on the left. Each villa is 100sm. The ground floor includes the living room and in front of the fireplace, there are two sofas, one of which may be used as a bed in case of accommodation of a fifth visitor, as well as a traditionally decorated kitchen and dining room. Moreover, there is a WC and a laundry machine. The verandah with the trellis provides a table and seats and the pool area, umbrellas and deck chairs for sunbathing.

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with separate balconies, each one equipped with tables and seats. The bedroom with the twin size steel bed and the fly net has an internal bathroom that includes a shower and a hydro massage. The other bedroom, with the single beds, provides a bathroom with a bathtub and hydro massage. The view towards the Ionian sea, from every aspect of both villas, is breathtaking during both day and night.

This is a stunning villa in an exceptional location which is made even more special thanks to the owner/host Paraskevas. The facilities were first rate, the kitchen fully equipped, the rooms beautifully clean and very well maintained. The terrace and balconies provided ample space and variety to be able to sit out and watch the sunrise / sunset with a cold beer or glass of wine. The pool was a good size and plenty large enough to entertain my two daughters aged 11 and 12 (and myself). The pool was also the cleanest and most pristine private pool we have seen. Oh and let's not forget the bbq which worked perfectly when we wanted to eat in but cook outside.Back to the host. Paraskevas cannot be praised highly enough. He is a lovely gentlemen who came to meet us at the airport and show us the way to the villa. We were greeted with a warm smile (I think it would have been a hug had Covid-19 not been at play) and welcome and as we entered the villa he had provided what I can only explain as being a week's groceries as a welcome basket (cold beer, wine, juice, melons, grapes. Cheese. Bread, ham, butter, jam, biscuits, coffee, tea...........oh and a bag of fresh pastries from the bakery which we picked up on the way back from the airport). This was platinum standard hosting by anyone's measure. Paraskevas was always available but never in the way, he could not do enough for us and made plenty of very good recommendations for places to visit and eat at etc. I could go on but there are already 35 or so other reviews which say pretty much the same thing. Paraskevas kept surprising us with extra treats throughout our stay which made it perfect, he has appropriately now been given the title 'The Legend' by my girls who really enjoyed chatting to him and getting to know him. We expected alot before we arrived, the reviews make it clear that this is a special place with a special owner, but our high expectations were surpassed by a clear margin. So much so that yesterday, before we left we decided to come again next year for a full two weeks.It is such a well kept, secluded villa with great views and a great location to explore from. Argostoli being just a 30 minute drive up the coast. Thank you Paraskevas for giving us a family holiday we will never forget, and we will see you next August, this time hopefully we will be able to share a cold beer and a man hug ????

Just arrived back from a 7 day break at Ionian Sea View Luxury Villas. We were invited to stay with my brother and his family for the last week of their two week stay. What we didn't realise at the time of invitation was how beautiful this break was going to be. On arrival the first words that came to mind is WOW WOW WOW!!!! the views are amazing the gardens and surrounding areas are pristine. The villa itself is so well presented and immaculately clean. All of these things however were not what made the holiday so special the owner of the villas Paraskevas was the host that made our stay so special the small touches and the care and consideration he shows to his guests is second to none. This was our first time to Kefalonia and thanks to Paraskevas the trip turned out to be an extremely memorable one and one we would like to experience and repeat again in the not to distant future. Thank you for the genuine care and kindness you afforded us during our stay.

We have just arrived home from our first stay at this wonderful villa, we have visited Kefalonia many times but can honestly say this has been our best holiday yet! The views are amazing, the villa is exactly as described and shown in the pictures which is often not the case. The unexpected bonus to our holiday was meeting our host Paraskevas he truly is a gentleman and such a lovely man, he could not do enough for us, even though he had to stick to the strict rules put in place for Covid 19, he made us feel so welcome. We will definitely stay again and if you do, as others have said, you won't be disappointed.

When we looked at making our booking last year I came across Ionian Sea View villas and read the most incredible reviews. Whilst we had no doubts it would be a lovely place there was a nagging doubt....... could it all be too good to be true?? From the moment we drove down the hill to Villa Oddyseus the reviews were not just true, they undersold it! Ionian Sea View Villas are quite simply stunning. The views over sea and mountains are breathtaking and the whole design, the quality, the contents and the cleanliness is so perfect. You could not my wish for a more perfect and peaceful setting for a relaxing holiday and it was ideal for our family of four. Whilst the villa was immaculate in every way the star of the show was the kind and attentive Paraskevas. In all the years of travelling and holiday stays I have never met a more welcoming and caring host. Paraskevas ensured that we were greeted at the airport, ensured that we were satisfied with the car hire and lead us back to his paradise villas. Not only that, he went to the effort of providing all the essentials in the fridge from bread, milk, fruit, snacks, some local treats and some very welcome ice cold beers, served from a chilled glass (this man knows how to host) and some local wine and soft drinks and water. What’s more, everything is presented like a 5 star hotel with embroidered bedding and towels. Also, during our 10 day stay the whole villa was cleaned top to bottom with fresh bedding and towels twice! Also, what was so enchanting, Paraskevas gave us a thorough tour of the villa on arrival and poured us drinks whilst he gave us a map of the island and talked us through a wonderful guide of things to see and do and places to eat. Trust me, this man has great taste and his recommendations were excellent. Importantly, once we had settled in Paraskevas was so respectful with our privacy. Whilst he also lives on the gated property his home is entirely separate and he let us enjoy our stay alone. However, we saw him most mornings wiping down the sun beds and cleaning the pool first thing and on occasion he brought us some delightful local treats from his kitchen. Importantly you do need a car to stay here as it is in the middle of nowhere but it is so worth it and will allow you to explore this beautiful island. I’m already pining for the glorious morning views from the bedroom and the enchanting evenings around the lit azure pool. Thank you Paraskevas- we’ll certainly be back ?�

We have recently returned from a fabulous week’s holiday staying at Villa Penelope. The Villa itself is beautifully positioned with amazing sea views and a nice sized private pool. The interior design is very classy and comfortable and all you really need is provided in the Villa. The location is excellent too, ideally situated for the airport (30 min max drive) and for nearby quaint resort Lourdas (10 mins) and Scala (20 mins). You do need to hire a car though. A special mention must go to the owner Paraskevas. From the minute Paraskevas meets you at the airport to saying a fond farewell and thanks, he consistently exceeds expectations and does everything he can to ensure you have a memorable stay at his villa and Kefalonia. Although his own villa is behind Villa Penelope, at no point do you feel Paraskevas is intrusive. He is a friendly, sensitive and respectful man whose attention to detail and care made our stay THE best villa holiday we have ever had. (I won’t spoil the little magical touches for anyone intending to book!) We asked Paraskevas for recommendations for places to eat and things to do and we were not disappointed. We took a day boat trip with Captain Vangelis from Scala to Sami and Fiscardo (which is beautiful!) The trip was amazing with friendly staff and a modern boat that wasn’t overcrowded. On Paraskevas’ recommendation we hired our own private motor boat for the day that enabled us to explore the coves and private beaches up the coast. I have to say this was one of the best experiences of the week, with perfect inshore conditions and calm beautiful blue green waters. In summary we would recommend booking Villa Penelope for your stay in Kefalonia and we cannot praise too highly the service and support from the owner Paraskevas, a real gentleman who ensured our stay was one we shall never forget

Amazing!

We found out about this villa through a friends of ours , she showed us some photos and told us how amazing the host and villa was,when we arrived at the airport we were met by Paras and driven back to the villa. Wow!! What a view!! What a villa!! So…
We found out about this villa through a friends of ours , she showed us some photos and told us how amazing the host and villa was,when we arrived at the airport we were met by Paras and driven back to the villa. Wow!! What a view!! What a villa!! So clean. Paras sat down with us and poured us a drink from the fridge that he had filled with drink, fruit cheese and vegatables amazing!! We sat down and he showed us some places to go on a map of the island then left us to it saying if we needed him he was always around. The location is lovely and quiet with lovely resturants within 5 to 10 mins by car we had a couple of days out around the island which is lovely . Having your own swimming pool with amazing views makes you want to stay at the villa. Paras was an amazing host it feels like we have known him for a lot longer. Can't wait to go back next year. Amazing!! Amazing!! Amazing!!

Our recent holiday in Kefalonia was probably one of the best we have ever had. The island itself is fantastic with all the best that Greek holidays have to offer. However, the villa we hired this time was truly remarkable and provided everything and more that you could possibly want to make a holiday perfect. This was mainly due to our host Paraskevas who made us so welcome it’s hard to find the right words that describe the contribution he made. By way of example, the fridge was stocked all sorts of foods and drink. There were beers on chill which provided a welcomed refreshment on our arrival. On the way to the villa Paraskevas stopped at a local bakery and bought us all sorts of delicious pastries to go with the already plentiful supplies. As it was our wedding anniversary during the stay he and his wife went to the trouble to bake us a delicious apricot pie that we ate with ice cream he also supplied. In addition to this he was the epitome of discretion although he and his family live on site you rarely saw him accept early in the morning when he might be collecting garden debris or cleaning the pool. He always asked when it was most convenient to carry out a villa clean etc. The HomeAway website carries a video to illustrate the villas and this is a very accurate illustration of what you will find except that its even better in reality. The views are simply breathtaking especially as the sun sets in the evening. The villas are of the highest quality in all respects. I cannot recommend Paraskevas and his villas highly enough....the whole experience was fantastic.

Paraskevas has filled the fridge up full of lovely fruit and local foods, and even he offered up an ice cold beer when we arrived, much appreciated when your hot and tired but excited! The villa itself is immaculate and has all the essentials you’ll need for your stay ! The pool area is stunning with the most amazing views, beautiful sea with yachts and sailing boat passing floating past, and the only sounds of buzzards in the air. Finally a villa that looks just as good in real life as in the pictures! The host Paraskevas was attentive without being intrusive. Met us at the airport and had filled the fridge with wine, beer, juices, bread, fruits and more! He also had lots of great advice and tips about the island. The villa itself is set next to another villa with the host living in another house behind both. It is lovely with uninterrupted sea views and neither house intrude on the other. I loved that the sun beds are high quality and the pool area super clean. In fact, the villa was also cleaned midweek. Relaxing, peaceful and pure bliss! A great place to recharge and base for visiting the rest of the island (which is beautiful and unbelievable less touristy than some other islands). If you like the pictures, you’ll love the villa. We will definitely be back and probably rent both houses with family.

A truly memorable holiday. For all the right reasons. We stayed at Villa Odysseus which is first class. The Interior and exterior are finished to a very high standard. The villa is immaculate and spotlessly clean. The pool and garden areas are beaautiful. Again, maintained to a very high standard. You can be assured of complete privacy and wonderful ocean views. The patio area above the pool has BBQ, eating and relaxing areas that are perfect for relaxing during the day. If it gets too hot, simply hit the loungers in the shade. The position of the villa is very convenient for the airport (25 min drive) and Argostoli (25-30 min drive). Nearby villages are Lourdata (5 min drive), Kateleios (10 min drive) and Skala (10 min drive). All have great restaurants and beaches. Kefalonia is a very beautiful island. … and finally our host Paraskevas. He really looked after us during our stay. This included meeting us at the airport, arriving to a fully stocked refrigerator, advice and guidance on Kefalonia and regular treats. Nothing was too much trouble. Paraskevas also has a great sense of humour and is very generous. If you are looking for a luxury villa with beautiful views, an excellent host and conveniently situated, look no further. This is an outstanding villa in all areas. We have visited a number of Greek islands over the last few years and our holiday at Villa Penelope has by far been the most relaxing. The Villa itself is in an amazing location, down a very well laid out concrete road to a beautiful cliff top with the only view being the Ionian Sea and a handful of yachts. The pool, gardens and BBQ are highly well maintained and very luxurious. Paraskevas cleaned the area daily before we got up and ensured the high standards were upheld. The Villa itself is of a very high specification, the power shower, jacuzzi bath, luxury towels, fluffy slippers and bath and body lotion to name but a few. The kitchen facilities are fabulous, having a dishwasher certainly added to the relaxation. However the overriding factor that made our holiday was the calm, professional manner of Paraskevas. Although his Villa is on site, he never intruded on our privacy but was always on hand whenever we required anything. His aim is to simply offer his service to ensure all our needs were met. We have never met such a kind and generous host. We arrived to a fridge full of food, beer and wine, on our first morning he dropped off fresh bread and croissants. We were also treated to homemade pies and ice cream that his wife had made which were delicious. From guidance to the best restaurants, best beaches and even booking a taxi late at night, there was nothing more Paraskevas could do to ensure we had such a relaxing time. We can not rate this Villa highly enough, amazing location, clean and well equipped with the kindest, considerate, humorous host we have met. If you are looking for a villa in Kefalonia then look no further. The villlas are maintained to a very high standard and the pool and grounds are immaculate. Both villas (along with the owner's villa), are within privately gated grounds and have stunning views across the clear blue Ionian Sea to Zante. Their location (between Lourdas and Skala) is perfect for exploring the whole Island with Argostoli about a 30 minute drive away. We became very good friends with Paraskevas and his family during our stay. He goes way beyond expectations to ensure you have everything you could possibly want to enjoy your holiday. He is a true gentleman with a great sense of humour. We are seasoned villa holidaymakers and these are by far the best we have ever stayed in. We shall be booking again in 2018. A well-appointed immaculately maintained property, by the owner and wife who reside on site, with every amenity that you need for a wonderful self-sufficient retreat. Situated in the foot hills of Mount Enos at Platies, just off the main road from Argostoli to Poros and Skala with only a few houses within a 1 km radius. Set in its own grounds with one other villa and the owners own house, this property commands breath taking views set back 60m from the edge of the property that drops 200m directly away to the sea, with Zante directly across the water. The villa has 2 double bedrooms with excellent bathroom facilities and its own private swimming pool with towels provided, all linen is changed mid-week. The owners Paraskevas & Katrina, personally oversee the running and upkeep of the property, providing a personal tailored service to each set of guests. Paraskevas & Katrina are very personal people with excellent communication skills and are always available for help and provide local information, keeping discreet owner guest relationship. Local shops and amenities are a short car ride away and the location is ideally set for short trips to either, Lourdata, Lassis, Fanari and Argostoli west of the property or Skala, Poros and Sami to the east. We have been to Kefalonia many times since the mid 1980’s and have holidayed at some stunning locations, this property and location is the best by miles.
