Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa, also known as the Mother City and is the legislative capital of South Africa also home to The Parliament of South Africa. The city is known for its harbor, for its natural setting and landmarks such as Table Mountain and Cape Point. The city was named the World Design Capital for 2014 and in the same year as the best place in the world to visit by both The New York Times.
