Garden Villa Chania is at the top of a small hill just 200 meters from the sea, so as you can imagine, the sea view is panoramic from almost every corner of the Garden VillaChania. The small island across makes the scenery like a piece of art! The stunning views of the Cretan Sea, the high-quality amenities, and the luxurious indoors make Garden Villa Chania your ideal holiday destination in Chania.

Beginning from outside, there is the front yard consisting of more than 100sqm of grass, that is equipped with sunbeds, bean bags, and a large hammock. There you can enjoy your sunbathing with the amazing sea view! Then we have the side yard, where there is a big sitting area with sofas, armchairs, and a swing chair, surrounded by plenty of trees and plants that our garden has! There you will find a Bbq where you can grill your favorite meal, and enjoy your day. The garden goes around the villa, in very nice scenery, so you can enjoy a small walk during the day or night! On the front side of the house, you will find 2 terraces. On the first floor, there is a big dining area, where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner with the same outstanding view. On the top floor, there is a smaller terrace, with an even better panoramic view, that is between the bedrooms, and it's the ideal spot for your breakfast, and to relax before or after sleeping!

We had an amazing time in Crete and the host's home and his graciousness were very much part of the reason why! We traveled from California, a family of (8) and (4) of us were celebrating birthdays during our Greek travel adventure. The villa was spacious and the pool area was beautiful with a wonderful view of the water. You had everything you needed from the very well-stocked kitchen to the downstairs gym. The grounds were impeccable with lots of seating for a large group. The home is very centrally located close to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shops. Our only regret is that we did not have more time on this lovely, but very large island. We will be back and will definitely be staying in this lovely villa again

An amazing break and would highly recommend the villa, the location and the host, thanks again!

We had 2 families (children were 1, 4, 10 and 13) stay in the villa for 7 nights and it was perfect (Aug ‘22). The host could not have been a better host, very thoughtful, loads of great suggestions. The pool really made it - it was lovely and warm…
We had 2 families (children were 1, 4, 10 and 13) stay in the villa for 7 nights and it was perfect (Aug ‘22). The host could not have been a better host, very thoughtful, loads of great suggestions. The pool really made it - it was lovely and warm (we did not pay extra to get it heated) and the jet pool and little kids area of the pool were perfect. Having the property gated also made us feel super safe. The villa had all the amenities noted and with a load of kids the washing machine was very useful. And stuff dried instantly on the balcony upstairs. We set the cot up in the hallway upstairs and pulled the blinds down which made it very dark - 1 year old slept very well. I had to work a bit and the WiFi was fantastic. An amazing break and would highly recommend the villa, the location and the host, thanks again!

We were a party of 10 that rented the villa for a 1 week stay. The villa is very spacious, and we were all very comfortable. There is enough room to spread out and beautiful common areas to also come together. The view is amazing, and the location is great. There is a beautiful sandy, calm beach within walking distance, along with restaurants, markets, beach bars. The kids enjoyed swimming in the large pool and even woke up early on the day of our departure to take a quick dip. Without a doubt, this is the best host we have come across. Upon arrival he had the refrigerator already very well stocked for us (beer, wine, soda, cereal, jams, coffee, greek delights like feta cheese, tzatziki, olives!). I probably texted him once or twice daily for restaurant/beach recommendations (he also has these nicely listed in the villa), information on a boat cruise, food delivery to the home, and even where to buy the best raki! Within a few minutes, he would have a response for me. We were never disappointed with his recommendations. They were always right on, and we were so appreciative of his insight! This place won't disappoint!

Left it clear how to contact him if needed but also gave us privacy to enjoy the villa. We all loved the place. Elegant and stylish yet homely. We loved the place.

Harilaos’ villa is exactly what an Airbnb property should be; a welcoming, homely place that is run by a host who really cares. The pool is gorgeous, and the villa has everything you need, with a well kitted out kitchen, spacious sitting room area and smart, modern bathrooms. There are two terrace areas, one off the bedroom and one off the sitting room and both have fantastic views of the bay. Harilao was attentive and always willing to help and was always in excellent communication from the moment I first contacted him. The villa used to be his family home and that’s exactly how we were meant to feel - like welcome guests. Thanks Harilao for a great stay!

The villa is very spacious and very well maintained. Perfect for a group of people. Close to shops and restaurants. Also, Balos beach and Elafonisi beach is reachable in around one hour by car. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely return…

Every now and then, you get lucky to have an experience where as soon as you step into the door, at the same time you feel both at home and on vacation. This villa served as our oasis and anchor while in Chania. We were caught balancing our desire to stay at home versus going out on a daily basis. Every morning we enjoyed our cup of coffee on the porch with panoramic views. The indoor/outdoor living really gives way to enjoying the amazing views and weather while on holiday in Greece. All of the natural light inside brightens up your mood and is a nice way to wake up in the mornings. The house design and decor is clean, fresh and minimalistic to really help you relax. There are artistic touches throughout the home, which give it character (mostly designed and build by the owner, who grew up in this very house). The design of the house allows for everyone staying here to find their own private space to relax in. The home was stocked with all of the necessaries we needed for a comfortable 9 night stay and the host was super attentive to ensure we were well taken care of. There are a couple of markets and restaurants nearby. Public bus transport is also nearby and convenient to take into Chania. We enjoyed the residential feel of this neighborhood. Thank you Harilao for sharing your home with us! It was everything we wanted for our holiday in Crete!

Station balnéaire de Stalos très agréable, à 7km de La Canée. L’hôte Harilao nous a très bien accueillis et nous a conseillé différents lieux à visiter dans les alentours. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa, et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Everything was amazing, from the position of the villa, to the garden and the view from every point of the house, the delicate touch in the interior design of the villa, the comfortability of the beds and pillows... ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING The city centre is just 8 min car distance but in case you don’t feel like driving there are very good restaurants or markets near the villa in walking distance. The villa has 4 rooms so 8 people can stay very comfortable in it. Anyway the best part of the villa is the garden and the balcony where you can enjoy a spectacular view eating or drinking with your loved ones. A special thank you for the welcoming and the availability of the host during our stay. If you are thinking where to stay in Chania, Seaview Garden is definitely what you are looking for.

Our host, Harry, was wonderful. He met us for check in and check out and let us stay late on check out day since he didn’t have another guest coming that night. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was good— even brought us Nescafé and a frappe shaker! Gave great restaurant recommendations and answered all our questions promptly. The home is beautifully decorated, recently renovated, with lots of great common areas for sitting and hanging out. We especially loved the outdoor balconies with views of the water. Bathrooms are very modern with rain shower heads in addition to traditional European shower handles. Location is pretty central- about a 15 minute drive to Chania and an hour from any western Crete site (Balos beach, Samaria gorge, etc). Would 100% recommend and would stay here again!
