Incredible Villa, Location and View!

This house was perfect for my husband and myself and 4 teenagers. We were all very comfortable and the house is decorated very tastefully and simply! But everything is really done to perfection and we loved the pool area and the proximity to the town of Koutoulafari. My kids even went down to Star beach where there is a bit more action and we walked to old town Hersonissos everyday for exercise. Plenty of great restaurants in the three towns close by, all very good food and all reasonably priced. Close to the markets as well. The pool is perfect overlooking the sea and the house has everything needed including good towels, dishes etc for an excellent stay. Stefani was very friendly and helpful to us with her recommendations and made sure that we were all set up for the house. Cannot rave about this house enough! Perfect stay!!!

When planning our trip we decided to end our visit in Crete and had a tough time deciding which side of the island and where to go while visiting. Ultimately we made the decision to go to Heraklion, which led us to find this property. We are happy we did and we wished we could have stayed longer. Firstly, Stefani was wonderful to work with. Very communicative and accommodated our arrival, which was around 20:00. The home is lovely and located on a very quiet street at the top of the village. The house we stayed in was one of two sister homes, that you can see in the photo, and although someone was staying in the home next door, it was very quiet. The exterior of the home was one of the reasons we wished we would have been there longer. Great pool with a huge deck area to lounge. The grounds are spectacular with a wonderful garden. There is an outdoor BBQ and dining area as well. The first floor of the home was very comfortable and well appointed. It had everything we needed for our short two day stay. The bedrooms are all on the second floor and the all have balconies with nice views down over the village and the sea. None of the rooms are huge, but all very comfortable. We were very, very pleased. As noted Stefani was delightful. She shared suggestions with us on where to shop and directed us to the local beaches. Walked us through the entire home and made sure we understood how everything worked. The location is about 30 minutes from the City Center in a small village that is full of shops and restaurants. It is a short walk down the hill to the village, where we ate several of our meals. The town along the sea is a bit further. You could walk it but I recommend a rental car if you are going to stay in this house. Also, there is a much larger grocery in the town than in the village. Overall a wonderful property that we are very happy we found. We would absolutely recommend this location.

Its peaceful, quiet, and with no traffic in the area. It’s just a short walk down the hill to the charming village of Koutouloufári, which has plenty of excellent restaurants. The main shopping area in Hersonissos is only a 5-minute drive away, with a large supermarket and a fantastic fishmonger. While the local beaches are small, a 15-20 – minute drive takes you to some truly beautiful ones.Stefani was an outstanding host—communication was excellent, and she was always very responsive. She also gave us some fantastic recommendations. Thank you, Antonis and Stefani—we’ll definitely be back!

After three years of staycation's we were looking for something a little special for our first international trip in some time and this villa was the perfect getaway. Situated at the top of a hill in Koutouloufari, the Villa offered privacy in a location that was a short walk from the village which had a great selection of bars and restaurants. If you're looking at the pictures and thinking 'wow' like we did you are in for a treat when you arrive as the villa is even better in person than even the pictures show. She was even kind enough to go shopping for us ahead of our arrival so that we didn't have to go to the supermarket on our first day there - that really was an incredible touch. If you are looking for something offering privacy and is away from the tourist hotspots but that is accessible to these tourist hotspots if you want to visit then this villa is for you. It is essential to have a car - particularly if you would like to visit Chania, Heraklion, Plaka or Elounda - but there are taxis available if you need them. Hersonissos is the nearest biggest town and is about a 20-minute walk downhill from the Villa.

Had a lovely stay here for a week with family, older kids in mid 20s. Beautiful villa and real quality in all aspects of villa inside and out. All kept spotlessly clean and maintained. Stefani is a great host and would do what ever you need to have an enjoyable stay. Short walk to the local village and some great restaurants and food to have with happy and friendly locals.If you have teens ,can be more lively down near the sea, but the village is far enough away for a relaxing time. I would recommend this Villa, location,host, without hesitation.

If you have any doubt in booking this villa then don't. The owner Stefani was absolutely amazing. She would do anything for you. You could not ask for a more beautiful setting. You are never quite sure whether the pictures live up to the expectation but they certainly did. My children had an amazing time. It is just not the quality of the build but all the little nice touches around the place. Gardens are lovely and maintained and they will come and give the villa a clean mid week at your convenience. It ticked all boxes. Would definitely go back with a bigger group and potentially rent out both these villas next door to each other.

Very friendly landlord. They go out of their way to always be available in case you need anything. The villa includes everything you'll need. Super nice view with the most dreamy sunsets. With air conditioning, hot/cold water, hairdryer, fresh towels, barbecue area and pool you really don't miss anything. The location is slightly elevated, which is why you also have sea views. Groceries can be reached in 1.5km and there are many small restaurants nearby. We thank you for the hospitality. Highly recommend

The villa is beautiful and peaceful with very few passing vehicles or people. Beds were comfy. Outside area was brilliant with lots a different seating areas and the pool was lovely to swim in and cool off after a day out in the sun. The walk into Koutouloufari is steep but not far at all and was ok walking in and walking home was a good leg work out. There is so much to do and some really fantastic restaurants on the door step of the villa. Stefani was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

From day one Stefani and Antonis were the perfect hosts. They replied to enquiries quickly and went the extra mile to make sure our holiday was a good one. The villa itself was fantastic. We had everything we needed for the two of us. In fact it was better equipped than any villa we had stayed in before. It was spotlessly clean, stylish and everything bright and new. It was perfect. The pool and the seating area outside were great too. It was a short walk into the village so we didn't need a car and my only warning would be that it is at the top of a steep hill so unless you are fit enough to walk back you might need a taxi or car after a night out! We are a mature couple and it was fine for us. Kept us fit! A short walk takes you down into Hersonissos and nearby villages but we really had everything we needed close by. It was a great week and I thoroughly recommend this villa! And thank you Stefani and Antonis!

Fabulous villa, peaceful and private and only a short walk down the hill to the lovely village of Koutouloufári with restaurants, bars and shops. 5 minute drive down to the main road where there is a large supermarket and lots of other shops. Short driving distance of some really nice beaches. Stefani was a wonderful host, very responsive and gave us some excellent recommendations. You must visit Nikos the Fisherman if you stay here, the best restaurant in the village by far. Thank you Antonis and Stefani, we will definitely be back!

Highly recommended!

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants…
We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Hersonissos is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Hersonissos itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

The beds were very comfortable, the jacuzzi bath in the master bedroom heavenly. The pool was deep enough to swim, heated on request. The view and sunrises were fantastic. The proximity to the beautiful village of Koutoulafari is also very pleasant. In 3 minutes on foot (somewhat steep descent) you are in the village centre with many fine taverns, supermarkets and a bakery. Even though many restaurants were no longer open at the end of the season, we always found something suitable. The fish restaurant Nikos the Fisherman is highly recommended. The hosts are very pleasant and always available for questions and concerns.

From the Ground Floor, you enter the Outdoor Area with an Infinity Pool, a private partly roofed terrace with seating area, pool deck with sun lounges and a space for relaxing in shade, BBQ with stone oven and table that seats up to 8 people. A wall stone bench, next to the oven, with comfortable cushions is available to sit as well. Next to the infinity pool there is an Private Path going to the turquoise waters of the Cretan Sea. Stayed in this villa in July and August for 3 weeks, absolutely amazing. Beautiful villa inside and out very high specification and immaculate throughout. Stefani was an absolute delight she really couldn't do enough for my family and i to make our stay perfect. I traveled with my retired parents, and my 3 children aged 20, 18 and 9. We all had an amazing time. The village is really beautiful more than enough restaurants and bars and the people very welcoming and kind. We could have stayed for ever . Thank you to Stefani and her husband for a truly wonderful holiday.
